OVWmania Presents: OVW Top 20 (Ed. 28)

This is the OVW Top 20 for the week of November 13-19, 2012 exclusively on OVWmania. After a crazy week with masked attacks, title changes, and TNA arrivals, where do the OVW stars stack up this week?

#1) CRIMSON (Last Week: #1)

CURRENT TITLES: OVW Heavyweight Champion

LAST WEEK: N/A.

*The OVW Heavyweight Champion remains at #1 as he sat back and watched his opponent at the next SNS, Rob Terry, get brutally attacked by the Wild Cards. Crimson will probably deny anything to do with the attack, but how can you deny your opponent being softened up before the big match?

#2) ROB TERRY (Last Week: #2)

LAST WEEK: Defeated the Wild Cards in a handicap match.

*Big Rob continues to dominate as he makes his way to a third encounter against Crimson. The question is what type of condition he will be in, and whether he will be able to compete at the next SNS after having his leg taken out with a lead pipe.

#3) TEAM GUTCHECK: Sam Shaw & Alex Silva (Last Week: #3)

LAST WEEK: Defeated POW's Jason Wayne & Jack Black.

*Shaw & Silva are arguably OVW's hottest tag team right now and are flying so high they are above the Best Team Ever in the rankings. Will they get a shot at the Best Team Ever and the OVW Southern Tag Team Titles at the December SNS?

#4) THE BEST TEAM EVER: Rudy Switchblade & Jessie Godderz (Last Week: #5)

CURRENT TITLES: OVW Southern Tag Team Champions

LAST WEEK: Defeated the Mascara Mafia.

*Their mind games are working and they are working their way back up to the top of the Top 20 as they remain OVW Southern Tag Team Champions. What team will get the next shot against them?
#5) "SMOOTH" JOHNNY SPADE (Last Week: #7)

LAST WEEK: N/A.

*Spade only has eyes for Doug Williams and dove through the ring to get his hands on him last week. This feud has gotten nasty and there is no telling what it will take for these two men to finally settle it once and for all.
#6) JASON WAYNE (Last Week: #6)

LAST WEEK: With Jack Black, lost to Team Gutcheck.

*The leader of the Platoon is ready for guerrilla warfare against both Moose and the Mascara Mafia. He now has backup in TNA Superstar, Kid Kash, too. What will the POW's next move be?

#7) JOE COLEMAN (Last Week: #8)

CURRENT TITLES: OVW Television Champion

LAST WEEK: Lost to Jamin Olivencia by DQ.

*The Platoon's "G.I. Joe", "Master of the Universe", & "Jacked Knight" as he likes to be called is still the OVW Television Champion after a tough battle against Jamin Olivencia. He may not have won, but having the title is all that matters. He is probably taking victory laps as you read this.

#8) JAMES "MOOSE" THOMAS (Last Week: #10)

LAST WEEK: N/A.

*The big man is a one man army and ready for war. Will he get to the leader of the Platoon, Jason Wayne, or will Wayne push his men to the front line to keep his distance?

#9) THE MOBILE HOMERS: Ted McNaler & Adam Revolver (Last Week: #9)

LAST WEEK: N/A.

*OVW's "Brew Crew" always remains a threat in the tag-team division, but were not in action last week. Sources tell me Adam had a little too much to drink and was still passed out at the trailer park.

#10) TARYN TERRELL (Last Week: NR)

CURRENT TITLES: OVW Women's Champion

LAST WEEK: Defeated Heidi Lovelace to win the OVW Women's Championship.

*Taryn jumps into the rankings quickly after going from Knockout referee to OVW Women's Champion. She seemed a bit confused by Taeler Hendrix's actions, but will gladly accept the title.

#11) KID KASH (Last Week: NR)

LAST WEEK: Joined the Platoon of Wayne and defeated Elvis Pridemoore.

*The newest recruit to the POW, this TNA veteran made an immediate IMPACT with a win. Why did he decide to align himself with Jason Wayne and his army? Maybe that question will be answered in the weeks to come.
#12) HEIDI LOVELACE (Last Week: #4)

LAST WEEK: Lost the OVW Women's Title to Taryn Terrell.

*Heidi feels cheated over the loss of her championship and for good reason. What step will she take next? Go after Taeler Hendrix for costing her the match or go after Taryn Terrell to try and regain the Women's Title?

#13) JAMIN OLIVENCIA (Last Week: NR)

LAST WEEK: Defeated Joe Coleman by DQ.

*Jamin came back on fire and looked like he was on the verge of capturing the OVW TV Title until Joe Coleman threw him over the top rope to get the automatic disqualification. Jamin looks poised to shoot up the rankings.
#14) DOUG WILLIAMS (Last Week: #13)

LAST WEEK: N/A.

*OVW's Benedict Arnold continues to battle with Johnny Spade and tried to throw him under the bus last week by telling Trailer Park Trash that Spade was the one who attacked him. Of course that didn't set well with Spade and the two started brawling causing a major melee.

#15) MASCARA MAFIA: Paredyse & Espy (Last Week: #12)

LAST WEEK: Lost to the Best Team Ever.

*Paredyse & Espy have the "makeup" of a good team, but fell short again against Rudy & Jessie last week. It seems their focus is more on the Platoon of Wayne, as that war has yet to end.

#16) JACK BLACK (Last Week: #11)

LAST WEEK: With Jason Wayne, lost to Team Gutcheck.

*This Louisville Slugger is in battle mode with the Platoon of Wayne. Clearly the big man of an impressive army with Joe Coleman, Kid Kash, & Jason Wayne, it will take a lot to win any wars against this group.

#17) THE WILD CARDS: Shiloh Jonze & "Rudo" Raul LaMotta (Last Week: #15)

LAST WEEK: Lost to Rob Terry.

*Raul & Shiloh aren't making friends with the rest of the OVW roster, especially Big Rob Terry. Crimson's cronies attacked the Welsh Colossus from behind after he beat them in a handicap match, undoubtedly to soften him up before December's SNS by bashing him in the leg repeatedly with a steel pipe.

#18) TONY GUNN (Last Week: #18)

LAST WEEK: Defeated Dylan Bostic.

*The master of the bearhug got back to his winning ways as he looks to make a move in the rankings of OVW. Will the happy pills do the trick to help him move up?

#19) CHRIS SILVIO (Last Week: NR)

LAST WEEK: Defeated Raphael Constantine.

*Silvio moves back into the Top 20 after a heartbreaking...win? Silvio ended the career of his former tag team partner and friend, but will have to shake that off in order to get back into the title picture after returning from his recent injuries.

#20) TAELER HENDRIX (Last Week: #19)

LAST WEEK: Was the special referee when Taryn Terrell defeated Heidi Lovelace.

*Wrestler...referee...wrestler...it's hard to keep up with what the ladies are doing in OVW's Femme Fatale division. Taeler has Heidi & Taryn's heads both spinning trying to figure out what she is up to. Why did she cost Heidi the belt and help Taryn win?

MISSING THE CUT:
-Jeremiah Plunkett
*Plunkett finally got a win last week and is looking to build on that to move up the ranks.

-Epiphany & Jessie Belle
*These two ladies have gotten into quite the battle over the last couple weeks, ending in a draw each time. Will there be a third and deciding match?

KEEP AN EYE ON:
-Dylan Bostic
*Bostic's got the talent, but needs to worry about his in-ring performance rather than asking the fans "Who Sucks Now?"

-Ace Hawkins
*The 2011 PWI Rookie of the Year is looking to make a statement in OVW.

-Ryan Howe
*OVW's resident rocker was out of action and needs to garner up some more wins to get back on the Top 20.

***Thanks to "Mr. SC" for his votes/contributions to this week's rankings.***
