OVW June 2016 SNS Results

This is the OVW Saturday Night Special Report for Saturday, June 4, 2016.

Tonight:
-Rocco Bellagio faces Daniel Eads, Mitch Huff, & Tyler Matrix in a Fatal 4 Way match for the OVW Heavyweight Title
-Tony Gunn defends the OVW Television Title
-Big Jon looks for retribution against Justin Smooth
-Stephon Smith finally faces Rudy Switchblade
-Plus more!

Your announcers for tonight are Gilbert Corsey & Ron Hed, and Ron is also ring announcer.

OVW TV TITLE MATCH: Billy O vs. Tony Gunn (c).
Some quick armlocks and headlocks early. Billy O gets out of a side headlock with a backdrop. He hits a body press off the second rope for 2. He hits some arm drags and charges Gunn in the corner. Gunn moves and attacks the knee. Gunn with some different leg holds to work over the knee. Gunn chops Billy in the corner, but Billy reverses and gets some chops of his own. Gunn goes back after the knee. He tries for a suplex, but Billy blocks it and hits a dropkick. Gunn taes Billy back down and locks in a sleeper. Billy gets out with a chinbuster. He kicks Gunn's knee around the ring. He hits a running knee in the corner and goes for a famouser, but Gunn blocks it and locks him in the YTO. Billy taps.
WINNER and STILL OVW TELEVISION CHAMPION: GUNN by submission.
After the match, Gunn sticks out his hand. Billy decides to shake, but Gunn grabs him and DDT's him on the title belt.

"The Assassins": The Assassin & Big Zo-sassin vs. "The Tag Buddies": Adam Revolver & "The Pastor of Disaster" Rev. Stuart Miles.
The Assassins use their clear size advantage to wear down the Tag Buddies early. Zo-sassin misses a cannonball in the corner to Adam, who tags in Stu. Stu hits Zo-sassin with a healing off the ropes and tries a russian leg sweep. He can't budge the big man, so Adam comes back in and they hit a double russian leg sweep. Assassin comes in and clotheslines Adam, as Stu goes up top. Stu knocks Assassin out of the ring with a missile dropkick. Stu heals Zo-sassin in the corner, but Zo-sassin grabs him to slam him. Stu slithers out and rolls him up in an inside cradle for the 3.
WINNERS: TAG BUDDIES by pinfall.
After the match, Stu holds up a neckbrace and says the Bad Boys Club put him in one of these for 6 weeks. He goes on to say that they will take away everything they love this Wednesday, including the OVW Southern Tag Team Titles. Adam takes the mic and says even he can say "Amen" to that.

"The King of Hairstyle" Robbie Walker vs. Jade Dawson.
A fast-paced match early. Jade connects with the famouser, but Robbie kicks out at 2. Jade decides to go to the top, but Robbie catches him and knocks him down. He then connects with crossroads for the 3.
WINNER: WALKER by pinfall.

Stephon Smith comes out and says he has been looking everywhere and Rudy Switchblade didn't show up. He looked high, he looked low, he looked in the gap teeth of the lady in the front row. He calls out referee Joe Wheeler and says at least Joe showed up to do his job. He tells Joe to start counting. Joe gets up to 7 and Rudy's music hits. Rudy comes out and we have a match...
Stephon Smith vs. Rudy Switchblade.
Stephon messes with Rudy early, smacking him in the back of the head. Rudy charges back and smacks Stephon around a bit. Stephon comes back and knocks Rudy to the outside. He throws Rudy int the ringpost and tells Joe to count. Rudy gets back in and Stephon hits a running thump in the corner. Rudy comes back with a kick off the ropes. He goes up top, but Stephon meets him. Rudy hits Stephon off, and Stephon proceeds to roll on out of the ring to get counted out.
WINNER: SWITCHBLADE by countout.
After the match, Rudy says that Stephon has been running his mouth about him for weeks and now it looks like he is just running. If he wants him, he'll be here. Rudy heads out of the ring and starts greeting fans at ringside. Stephon sneaks back out and ambushes Rudy from behind, leaving him laying.

GRUDGE MATCH: Justin Smooth vs. Big Jon.
Smooth takes Jon down with a shoulder block and suplexes him. Jon comes back and does the same to Smooth. Smooth hits Jon in the side and continues to focus on the bad ribs. Jon comes back after a suplex reversal. He hits some clotheslines on Smooth and a splash in the corner. He goes to splash Smooth in another corner where the turnbuckle pad was removed, and hits the bad ribs. Smooth hits Jon with a spear and a side slam and gets the 3!
WINNER: SMOOTH by pinfall.

HANDICAP TAG TEAM MATCH: "The Van Zandt Family Circus": Little Damion, the Ringmaster, & Dapper Dan Van Zandt (w/Scarlet) vs. Houdini & Trevor Steele.
Damion bites Trevor, but Trevor clotheslines him down and gives him the giant swing. Ringmaster comes in, but he gets caught off the top rope and powerbombed. Dan runs in and gets slammed, then side slammed. The Circus tries to triple team Steele, but he breaks free through all of them. Houdini pats Trevor on the back and accidentally tags himself in. Houdini gets abused for a while, then moves out of the way of a top rope splash from Damion. He gets a hot tag back to Steele. Steele comes in and cleans house. Houdini brawls with Damion on the outside and tricks him into wrapping himself and the chain around the ringpost. Steele tosses Ringmaster out of the ring and hits a side slam on Dan. He tags Houdini back in and slams Houdini off the top rope down onto Dan for the 3.
WINNERS: HOUDINI & STEELE by pinfall.

FATAL 4 WAY for the OVW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE: "The Young Lion" Tyler Matrix vs. "The Chosen One" Mitch Huff vs. "The Man of Tomorrow" Daniel Eads (w/Josh Ashcraft) vs. "The Show Stealer" Rocco Bellagio (c).
Matrix, Huff, & Eads all team up to hit Rocco and knock him out of the ring. Huff & Matrix then double dropkick Eads from the ring. Huff tries a quick rollup on Matrix for 2. He hits Matrix with a shoulder block and an inverted atomic drop. Outside, Rocco grabs Huff's foot and racks him around the ringpost. He gets in and powerslams Matrix for 2. Eads forearms Rocco, but runs into a big boot. Rocco goes out and hits Eads' head off the arpon, then Matrix's. Huff climbs up top and flies out on all 3 of them. Huff rolls Eads in and hits him in the corner. Eads comes out with a big clothesline, but Rocco breaks up the pin. Matrix comes in and Rocco catches his foot, but then Matrix hits an enziguri. He hits flying forearms to Rocco & Eads in each corner. Huff hits Eads with a neckbreaker drop. Rocco again breaks the pin. Rocco hits a side slam on Huff for 2. Matrix hits a kick to the head of Rocco off the ropes for 2.
Eads is trying to suplex Huff in the corner, but Matrix comes over to help deliver a double suplex. Rocco comes over and powerbombs Matrix & Eads, as they suplex Huff! As everyone returns to their feet, Eads hits a superman punch to Rocco. Huff is going for an Athlete's Foot to Eads, but Matrix hits him with a pele kick. Eads hits the Weight of the World to Matrix, but Rocco breaks the pin. Eads & Huff fight on the outside. Inside, Matrix hits Rocco in the corner, then flies out on Eads & Huff. Matrix hits the Drive-By on Rocco, goes up, and connects with the senton bomb. Rocco kicks out at 2! Matrix leaps off the ropes, but Huff gets back in and nails him with an Athlete's Foot. Huff gets knocked out of the ring, and Eads goes for another Superman punch, but Rocco catches him with a Plunge. Matrix is back up and leaps off the top rope, but Rocco Plunges him and gets the 3!
WINNER and STILL OVW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: ROCCO by pinfall.

Thinks if the talent cant sell their moves or dont come within a foot of their opponents face when "kicking" them yet they still pretend to be knocked out that ovw should work with them more behind the scenes. and I understand the ovw talent had people they learned from and idolized but i wish certain talent wouldnt copy literally everything from the person they idolized including their entrance, gotta have your own gimmick!
