OVW TV #767 Preview + OVWmania Schedule

Hey fans!

Be sure to keep an eye on all things OVW today! First, OVW TV #767 will be taped tonight and feature Jamin Olivencia vs. the Bodyguy, the Skywalkers in action, Melvin Maximus defending the OVW TV Title against former champion Paredyse, plus Danger International will most likely have something very important to say about last week's main event in which Adam Revolver aligned himself with the group.

Also, OVWmania will be live in attendance tonight, so the report will be up late tonight after the show. After that, stay tuned for another big announcement as the clock strikes midnight! OVWmania has been teasing a special announcement "Coming Soon" on twitter @TheBrianCannon for May 1. What have the teasers been about? Log on tonight to find out!

The Winds of Change

Hey fans,

Starting this week, my schedule is changing for the first time in the last 2+ years since I have been regularly attending OVW Wednesday night TV tapings. What does this mean? Well, it's not goodbye (at least currently), but it does mean a significant change in the OVWmania landscape. While I may not be able to attend the Wednesday night events for the foreseeable future, I still plan on watching the TV episodes and attending when I can (i.e. Saturday Night Specials). Even if things change for good, I still plan on following and supporting OVW.

In the meantime, I would like to send out some special thank yous. Thank you to the fans of this blog who read the reports on a weekly basis. Thank you to the friends I have made through OVW including Terry Boddie, Michael Rickard, Nathan Karpinski (& family), Triple Threat Talk (Gary Lockard, Jimmy Biggers, & Brandon DeMuro), Sam Lawhorn (& family), and many of the OVW superstars and talents such as Chris Sharpe, Michael Hayes, Randy Royal, Melvin Maximus (& Donna Williams), Josh Ashcraft, Mohamad Ali Vaez, Chris Silvio, & Jamin Olivencia. These are just a few of the many who I have come to know really well and supported, and they in turn have supported me and OVWmania. If I failed to mention your name, I apologize, but I could go on and on for quite some time trying to remember and type everyone's names.

Lastly, with the new schedule, I plan on still bringing the dark match results from Wednesday nights to you, and then doing a new review of the TV show weekly that will likely be published on Fridays, and a report on the Saturday Night Specials, should I be able to attend those as normal.

Some things in life sneak up on you and force change, but sometimes it's for the better. I've always enjoyed wrestling, because many of my earliest memories were going to the Louisville Gardens with my dad and watching the OVW Owner himself, Danny Davis, as well as Jerry "the King" Lawler, Bill Dundee, Jeff Jarrett, and others every Tuesday night. I have enjoyed being a part of the crowd every Wednesday night at OVW and supporting them by promoting them through this website. I've had really good feedback from many fans and my reports have even been picked up by major wrestling news sites. I've had some critiques, too, but everyone should remember that this has been the best UNPAID job anyone could ask for.

With that being said, be good, be kind to one another, and when possible, I'll see YOU at the shows!
