OVW TV #710 Preview: Coalition Control?

Episode #710 will be taped Wednesday, March 27. Is the Coalition poised to take control of OVW? Crimson & Jason Wayne already let New School's Sam Shaw & Alex Silva know that they are coming after the OVW Southern Tag Team Titles, but now Crimson has positioned himself as #1 contender for the OVW Heavyweight Championship after defeating Jamin Olivencia in last week's tournament final.

Will Jay Bradley lay Moose & Johnny Spade out again with the Boomstick, or will Spade & Moose take one another out first?

Rockstar Spud has made quite the impression since his arrival to OVW. Who will the TV Champion face? Is the "Double R Superstar" still in the hunt?

Is Taeler Hendrix leaving Dylan Bostic behind? Her heart seems to be beating to a different tune around the rocker, Ryan Howe.

Will there be a conclusion to the street fight between Rudy Switchblade & Jessie Godderz?

Is the Mascara Mafia worried about the Mobile Homers, or do they think they are too "yellow" to do anything in retaliation for what happened to Brittany Devore?

All this and more live at the Davis Arena. The doors open at 6:30PM, bell time is 7:00PM. Just go to 4400 Shepherdsville Road with $5.00 in your pocket for admission! For more information, visit the Events section at ovwrestling.com!

One of these two men will go on to face current champion, Doug Williams, at the next Saturday Night Special on Saturday, April 6th. Speaking of Doug Williams, what "arrangement" was he making with the Coalition? Is he trying to ensure Jamin doesn't win? Is he scared to face Jamin again?

Paredyse took Brittany Devore out for a makeover, and the big reveal will happen! How will she look?

"The King of Pink" Dylan Bostic, upset that Taeler Hendrix seems to be eying his enemy, will team with "The Irish Redhead Bombshell" in a mixed tag match against the rockin' team of Heidi Lovelace & Ryan Howe. Who will rock and who will suck now?

What will happen if "Smooth" Johnny Spade, "Lonesome" Jay Bradley, & James "Moose" Thomas all meet up in the middle of the ring again? Will Bradley deliver more Boomsticks? Will Spade deliver some super kicks? Will Moose boot some heads off?

OVW Special Report: Expo 5 Results

I just got back from a fun night of action at Derby Park Expo 5 that concluded with watching the TNA Lockdown PPV, in which Bully Ray revealed himself as the President of Aces & 8's and won the TNA Heavyweight Title from Jeff Hardy. Here is the OVW action from tonight:

-Elvis Pridemoore b. Bodyguy with a rollup.

-"Lonesome" Jay Bradley b. Stephon J. Baxter III with the Boomstick, and then delivered one to Albert Einstein Baxter II following the match. The Assassin came down and helped Stephon up, and carried Albert to the back on his shoulders.

-Hannah & Holly Blossom b. "Lovely" Lylah Lodge & Taeler Hendrix after Lylah was thrown into the corner, knocking Taeler to the floor, and then rolled up for the victory. Heidi Lovelace served as special referee.

-"Mr. Pec-Tacular" Jessie Godderz b. Eddie Diamond (w/Timmy Danger) via submission to the Boston Crab.

-The Coalition's "He-Man of Homeland Security" Jason Wayne, "Sergeant Major" Jack Black, & "Lieutenant Lats" Joe Coleman b. New School (Alex Silva & Sam Shaw) & Paredyse, after Paredyse faked a knee injury the entire match and then turned on Alex Silva, hitting him in the back from behind with a steel pole, allowing the Coalition to get the pinfall.

Another fun night of action, but what's going on with Paredyse? He's been having issues with the Mobile Homers, but why did he turn on Silva & Shaw tonight? Stay tuned to OVW's official Facebook & Twitter accounts for the latest, plus other exclusive updates!

OVW Special Report: E-Town Results

OVW just recently posted the results on their Facebook account from tonight's house show in E-Town. They are as follows:

EFD def. VIP
Tony Gunn def. Rudy Switchblade
Jay Bradley def. Albert Baxter II
Alex Silva & Sam Shaw def. Elvis Pridemoore & SK Evesledge
Chris Silvio def. Jessie Godderz
Hannah Blossom vs. Holly Blossom leads to a no contest due to interference from Taeler Hendrix & Lylah
Moose def. Cliff Compton
Mobile Homers def. Coalition via DQ when Paredyse attacked Homers. After the match, Jack Black top rope splashed Brittany who is now being checked out by our medical staff. Updates to come.

Make sure to stay tuned to Ohio Valley Wrestling's Facebook & Twitter pages for updates on Brittany Devore's condition.

I will be attending tomorrow's show at Derby Park Expo 5 and will give a quick recap like above.

OVW TV #707: "Statement Made"

This is the OVW Report for Wednesday, March 6, 2013. This episode can be seen online starting tomorrow at www.ovwrestling.com/tv. In this episode, Gutcheck winner and former 2-time OVW Heavyweight Champion Jay Bradley makes his return to the Davis Arena, Jamin Olivencia gets some unexpected news, Randy Royal gets his shot at the OVW Television Title against Cliff Compton, plus much more!

Without further ado:

Here we go...

Pre-Show Dark Matches:

Lovely Lylah & "The Irish Redhead Bombshell" Taeler Hendrix vs. Hannah & Holly Blossom. Taeler & Lylah attack the Blossoms from behind. Holly gets worked over in the corner while the referee gets Hannah in her corner. Taeler steps on Holly's hair. She delivers an upercut and slams Holly to the mat. Taeler & Lylah start arguing with each other in the corner, allowing Holly to tag in Hannah. Hannah clotheslines Taeler several times and hits a kick to the face after throwing her off the ropes. Taeler tags out to Lylah. Lylah comes in and swings wildly, but Hannah ducks. Holly goes up top and hits a cross body and scoots out of the ring as Hannah makes the cover for the 3. WINNERS: BLOSSOMS by pinfall. MY TAKE: It was twice as nice to see the Blossoms back again and on the winning side.

Jeremiah Plunkett vs. "The Welsh Colossus" Rob Terry. Plunkett hits Rob and only angers him. Plunkett tries to run, but is caught on the apron. Rob flips him back inside. He hits a shoulder tackle, and delivers a big hip toss. Plunkett comes back and puts Rob in a sleeper hold. Rob drops to the mat to get him off. Plunkett comes back and puts Rob in a rear naked choke. Rob rams him into one corner, and then another to break the hold. He lifts Plunkett up on his shoulders and flips him up into a spinebuster for the pin. WINNER: TERRY by pinfall. MY TAKE: Big Rob with a big win and an impressive show of strength.

That concludes tonight's pre-show dark matches. I always recommend watching the episode first on TV or online before reading the rest of the report. Again, you can check it out on OVW's official website late Thursday afternoon/evening at www.ovwrestling.com/tv.
