OVW TV 1122: Love Is Not In The Air!

In this episode, Dimes holds a super heavyweight open challenge, Omar Amir challenges Ca$h Flo ahead of this weekend's Tough Love, plus more!

Eric Cornish & AJ McKay are on commentary, Ms. Stephanie is the ring announcer.

"The Legacy of Brutality"
: Steve Michaels & Big Zo (w/"The East End Villain" Josh Ashcraft) vs. Heath Hatton & Star Rider
.
Zo swings wildly at Star. Star ducks and kicks Zo in the side. Zo grabs him and slings him to his corner. Heath tags in and Zo knees him and locks in a side headlock. Off the ropes, there's a collision, but Heath grabs the arm and tags Star. Star hits the arm, but flies into a catch from Zo. He tags Steve, slams Star, and Steve drops the leg. Steve flings him across the ring. Star slides off his shoulders and dropkicks Steve to the corner. Zo & Heath tag in. Heath fires away. Zo throws him to the corner, but misses a charge. Heath with a forearm and spinebuster. He spears Zo, but Josh gets on the apron. Steve takes Star down on the outside and gets in and plows Heath down. They deliver a double chokeslam to Heath and get the 3.
WINNERS: LEGACY by pinfall.

"The Fanny Pack Kid"
 Kal Herro vs. "The Nephilim" D'mone Solavino
.
D'mone works over the arm, and Kal comes back with several roll-up attempts. Kal fires up with some quick shots, but D'mone takes him back down and locks him up in Locked in Purgatory for the tapout.
WINNER: D'MONE by SUBMISSION.

Brandon Espinosa vs. Ryan Howe
.
Espy with a kick to the midsection. Howe takes him down and walks across his back. Espy pulls him by the hair to the corner. Howe slams him and hits the rock 'n' roll fistdrop. Espy drops him into the turnbuckle and chokes him. Off the ropes, Espy hits a running cross body for 2. Espy works him over and goes up, but Howe drops him with an atomic drop. Another inverted atomic drop and a running knee. Espy rolls out to the floor. Espy drops Howe's head across the top rope. He goes for a super kick, but Howe catches his foot and nails a DDT for the 3.
WINNER: HOWE by pinfall.

William Lutz is out for commentary.
"Hood Ninja"
 Hy Zaya (w/"The East End Villain" Josh Ashcraft) vs. Snoop
.
Snoop with some quick moves to avoid Hy. He hits a spinning dive off the ropes and locks Hy up. Hy seems to be thrown off by his offense. Hy catches him with a kick and a chop. He hits a backbreaker and backstabber for 2. Snoop sits him up on the top rope and goes for a superplex, but Hy hits him with a powerbomb. He goes back up and jumps across his legs, folding him up. He connects with Ninja Vanish and gets the 3.
WINNER: HY ZAYA by pinfall.

Ashton Cove comes out and says it has been a rough week and he is indefinitely out of action with a neck injury thanks to Tony Bizo. Bizo comes out and says he knows what it's like to be out of action. He says Cove has balls and wants to apologize.
He let his anger get the best of him. He wants to know if Cove wants to tag and run the tag division when he comes back from injury. He gives Cove his jacket and says he earned his respect. Cove throws it down. Bizo kicks him and DDT's him. He says he does apologize for allowing him to still be able to walk.

"Team Hollywood"
: "Hollywood" Adam Swayze & "Co-Star" Rex vs. OVW Southern Tag Team Champions "The Tate Twins": Brent & Brandon
.
Quick offense and tags early from the Tates against Adam. Off the ropes, Rex blind tags Adam. Brent gets ambushed from behind by Rex and Adam kicks him in the face off the ropes. Rex with a side slam and hard throw in the corner. Rex goes for a pin, but Adam wants in. He drops an elbow, but wants a "take two". He misses another elbow and Brent hits an enziguri. Brandon gets the tag and fires away on Adam, then dropkicks Rex off the apron. He flies out on Rex on the floor. He leaps back in and Adam rolls him up with his feet on the ropes and Rex holding them. Brent dropkicks it apart. The Tates then hit Adam with the double front faceplant for the 3.
WINNERS: TATES by pinfall.

"The Iron Bear"
Tom Coffey vs. "The Indian Lion" Mahabali Shera.
 Tom hits Shera and delivers a spinebuster for 2. Shera dares Tom to hit him. Shera fires back with clotheslines and delivers the pop-up spinebuster slam for the 3.
WINNER: SHERA by pinfall.

Reverend Ronnie Roberts
 comes to the ring for another edition of "The Good Word". He says he wants to get to business pretty quickly. His guests are the Tate Twins. Ronnie says that they got beat last week and the Tates say they were beat fair and square. Ronnie laughs about Isaiah Broner calling them the Olsen Twins last week. AJ Daniels comes to the ring and says they were not lucky, they are 6-0 as a team. The Tates say they are the tag champs. AJ says come Saturday, gravity will be destroyed and they will be the new tag team champions.

In the back, Josh Ashcraft says that Hy Zaya is still the rightful Rush Champion and will win that title back Saturday and bring gold back to the L.O.B.! Tough Love won't be about breaking hearts, it will be about breaking necks and cashing checks!

"The Golden Boy"
AJZ vs. Gustavo.
AJZ slings Gustavo down. Gustavo back with some quick offense and a hurricanrana. AJZ knees him and rams him into the corner where he chops him. He gets him on the mat and pounds him. Gustavo tries to fire back, but AJZ gets him up for a vertical suplex. Gustavo knees out. He dropkicks AJZ and connects with his finisher, but AJZ rolls out. AJZ hits him with a pair of brass knucks behind the ref's back. He gets the 3.
WINNER: AJZ by pinfall.
After the match, Ryan Howe runs out and tells the ref to check AJZ. She lifts his arm and sees the brass knucks and reverses the decision. Howe lifts Gustavo's arm on the apron. AJZ hits them off, then Howe chases AJZ to the back.
WINNER: GUSTAVO by DQ.

SUPER HEAVYWEIGHT OPEN CHALLENGE: "Big Money" Dimes vs. "J-Mo" Jesse Morris.
J-Mo fires away on Dimes, but Dimes with a boot in the corner and chokes him. Dimes goes for a power bomb, but J-Mo flips him over. Dimes slides off his shoulders, raking the eyes. He hits the Change Maker for the 3.
WINNER: DIMES by pinfall.

"The Black Widow"
 Harley Fairfax vs. Arie Alexander.
Back and forth offense. Harley takes control with some kicks and a boot that takes her down.
Haley J comes down with Luscious Lawrence. She has a garbage can and hits Harley in the back. She then gets in and hits both Harley and Arie with the trash can as Luscious says "Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the most hood of them all?" Haley takes the mic and tells Joseline Navarro she knows she's watching and will see her in a street fight because she says so, not Joseline.
NO CONTEST.

Ca$h Flo (w/"The East End Villain" Josh Ashcraft) vs. OVW Heavyweight Champion Omar Amir.
They fire at each other, then Omar with a shoulder tackle off the ropes. They exchange hard chops. Omar with a big clothesline. Omar tries to pick Ca$h up from the apron, but Ca$h headbutts him. He tries to suplex him out, but lands on the apron. Ca$h jumps off the ropes onto Omar for 2. Omar starts to fire back. Ca$h knees him. Omar reverses a throw to the corner and hits a back body drop. Omar fires up again. Omar with a belly-to-back suplex off the ropes. He splashes Ca$h in the corner and Ca$h pulls the ref in front of Omar, who clotheslines him. Omar with a spinebuster, but the ref is out. The rest of the L.O.B comes out, but Omar fights them off. Omar runs into a seated bomb from Ca$h. Ca$h with a running cross body in the corner, then a Death Valley Driver. Hy gets in and dropkicks him, then Steve splashes him in the corner, and Zo slams him. Ca$h wakes the ref for 2! Omar somehow kicks out. Ca$h goes up top and hits the Payload frog splash for the 3.
WINNER: CA$H by pinfall.
