OVW TV 1141: Chain Reaction!

This is the OVW Report for Thursday, June 24, 2021.

Tonight, Dani Mo vs. Arie Alexander in a #1 contender's match for the Women's Title, a Rush Division Title match sees Star Rider defend against Gustavo and the return of Sam Thompson, the contract signing for this Saturday's Heavyweight Championship match between Omar Amir & Ca$h Flo, Big Zo & Steve Michaels face off with Kal Herro & Dustin Jackson, and much more!

PRE-SHOW:
Ms. Linda K is the ring announcer.

"The Iron Bear"
 Tom Coffey vs. 
"The Neon Ninja" Facade.
Tom goes after Facade, but Facade ducks the attack and hits and chops Tom in the corner. He charges in, and gets flipped to the apron. Facde leaps in with a dropkick. Tom back with some clubbing blows, but Facade dropkicks him to the corner and runs in with a forearm. Off the ropes, Facade slips, but still clotheslines him. He goes up and Tom meets him to try and hit him. Facade hits him away and hits a kick to the face to take Tom down for the 3.
WINNER: FACADE by pinfall.
Facade calls out AJ Daniels for later tonight.

OVW TV (HOUR 1):
Bryan Kennison & Shannon the Dude are on commentary, Eric Cornish & Linda K are the ring announcers.

"The Candidate for a Brighter Future in Wrestling"
 Koda Jacobs
 vs. "Mr. Juicy" Luscious Lawrence.
Luscious with a butt butt, powerslam off the ropes, and the Luscious Legdrop. He sets him up early for the One Night Stand, but Koda slides off and takes out the left knee. He focuses on hurting the left knee of Luscious and tries locking it in a single leg submission. Luscious grabs him by the tie, hits two atomic drops and an inverted atomic drop, then gives him the Swinger's Party. He hits Koda with the One Night Stand and gets the 3!
WINNER: LUSCIOUS by pinfall.

We see an interview with the Box Office Blonds. They have beat the Tate Twins and are #1 contenders, and they will win because they are a team. Linda K tells Adam Swayze that tonight it's 1-on-1 vs. Brent Tate. They yell "cut" and Linda says hopefully for Adam, it's not a Box Office Bomb!

"Shotgun"
 Tony Gunn vs. "Suplex Shogun" Jackson Stone.
They lock up and Stone takes Gunn down off the ropes. Gunn smacks Stone in the face. Stone throws him into the corner, then delivers a belly-to-belly suplex. They fight on the outside with Gunn ramming Stone into the side of the ring. He rolls Stone in and leaps in with a knee to the face. He pounds Stone on the mat. Stone starts to fire back with some forearms and misses a charge in the corner. Gunn hits his head into the turnbuckle and goes up, but Stone slams him off. Stone with some chops and a discus clothesline. Gunn returns some clubbing blows, but misses a Killshot. Stone with a belly-to back suplex for 2. Gunn catches Stone with a knee to the face, then hits the Killshot for the 3.
WINNER: GUNN by pinfall.

Facade is back out, calling out AJ Daniels. Facade was so excited to be at OVW, but AJ has tried to rain on his parade. AJ shows up on video saying he is stuck in outer space, and Facade has stolen his fans and his moves. AJ challenges him to a match on Saturday at Chained Carnage. Facade accepts, but is then attacked by AJ on the ramp from behind. AJ pounds him on the floor.

"The End of the World"
 Jake Omen vs. Blanco Loco.
Omen kicks him and locks in a side headlock. Omen chops Loco in the ropes and drops an elbow. He knees Loco in the back and clubs him. Omen knees him in the ropes, then hits a snap suplex. He covers for 2. Loco back with some unique offense in the corner with a double foot stomp to the midsection of Omen, then a powerbomb out of the corner. He misses a moonsault from the top and Omen hits a front release suplex, then finishes him off with a shining wizard for the 3.
WINNER: OMEN by pinfall.

RUSH TITLE MATCH: Gustavo vs. "The Primadonna Prince" Sam Thompson vs. "The Star of the Show" Star Rider (c).
Lots of quick offense early. Sam gets hit with Three Amigos from Gustavo. Star with a dropkick, knee to the face, and another dropkick to Gustavo. Sam flies out on Gustavo, then Star dropkicks Sam back outside and dives out into both of them. Star goes to climb after rolling Sam in, but Gustavo pulls him down. Gustavo hits his finisher on Sam in the ring, but Star climbs back to the top and hits Orion's Belt on both of them. Gustavo rolls away hurt and Star covers Sam for the 3!
WINNER and STILL RUSH CHAMPION: STAR by pinfall.

"Hollywood" Adam Swayze vs. Brent Tate.
Tate with quick offense early. He has Adam down, but as he goes up top, Rex comes out and pushes him off the top. Brandon comes out and fights with Rex, and this match gets thrown out.
NO CONTEST.
"The Box Office Blonds": "Hollywood" Adam Swayze & "Co-Star" Rex vs. "The Tate Twins": Brent & Brandon.
Rex tries to take on and take out both Tates by himself, but they escape a double chokeslam attempt, DDT Rex, and roll him up for the 3!
WINNERS and STILL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: TATES by pinfall.

OVW TV (HOUR 2):
Shannon the Dude & Bryan Kennison are on commentary, Eric Cornish & Linda K are the ring announcers.

The Good Word - BYU Radio
"The Legacy of Brutality"
: Big Zo & Steve Michaels (w/"The East End Villain" Josh Ashcraft) vs. "The Fanny Pack Kid" Kal Herro & Dustin Jackson.
Kal runs into a clothesline from Steve and Dustin gets overhead tossed by Zo out of the ring. Steve works over Kal, sitting across his back and clubbing him. Zo tags in and works over the back. The L.O.B. keep him cornered and away from Dustin. Zo locks him in a bearhug. Kal claps the ears to escape. Steve causes a distraction as Kal makes the tag. Dustin comes in firing away, but the ref makes him go back out. They drag Kal back to their corner and now Steve has the bearhug locked in. Kal gets free and makes the hot tag to Dustin. Dustin with dropkicks to both men and a running boot to take down Zo and get a controversial 3!
WINNERS: DUSTIN & KAL by pinfall.

Reverend Ronnie Roberts is out for another edition of the Good Word.
His guest is Jessie Godderz. Ronnie says that 98.8% of the people think Elijah Burke will win, and the other 1.2% were the make-up guy, his chauffeur, etc. Elijah shows up on the screens and says Jessie might be a former Tag Team Champion & Television Champion, but Pope is a former grand slam champion himself. He says that he wants to add the National Title to his resume and after Saturday, he will hear the fans chanting that the "Pope is Pimpin'". 

Shannon the Dude has put out a bounty of $5000 for anyone who can take out Mahabali Shera before Saturday. We see Luscious Lawrence asking Shera if he has seen his car, but he doesn't know. Tom Coffey tries to attack Shera, but Shera hits him and throws him into a wall.
We then see a video of Haley J & Tony Bizo paying off a tow truck to take Luscious' car to a junkyard, no questions asked. We then see Luscious coming back out of the arena and not being able to find his car anywhere.

"Picture Perfect"
Jordan Kage vs. "The Complete Package" Tony Bizo (w/Women's Champion "Hollyhood" Haley J)
.
Bizo goes on the attack and hits Kage and hits a vertical suplex. He slams Kage, but misses a flip out of the corner. Kage fires up with clotheslines and hits Bizo into the corner. Kage with a swinging takedown. Off the ropes, Haley trips Kage up and Bizo plants him with a DDT for the 3.
WINNER: BIZO by pinfall.

We hear Brandon Espinosa say that money is the root of all evil, but tonight he's going to take that bounty.

Brandon Espinosa vs. "The Indian Lion" Mahabali Shera.
Before Shera gets to the ring, a masked "fan" at ringside sprays something into the eyes of Shera. It turns out to be Adam Revolver!
NO CONTEST.

#1 CONTENDER for the WOMEN'S TITLE: 
"Double A" Arie Alexander vs. Dream Girl Ellie vs. Dani Mo.
Back and forth action between all 3. Several pin attempts and near falls. Arie with a TKO on Ellie. Dani misses a kick and a German suplex from Arie. Dani back with some kicks and then scoop slam that drives Ellie into the mat for the 3!
WINNER and NEW #1 WOMEN'S TITLE CONTENDER: DANI by pinfall.

We have the contract signing for the match between Ca$h Flo & Omar Amir. Bryan Kennison says it's a special signing because it will be brutal and dangerous. They have a special attorney and there could be bloodshed. Omar comes out first, followed by Ca$h. No one is allowed ringside for this match, due to the brutal nature. Omar says he will do illegal things to Ca$h Saturday, and there is a price to be paid for messing with Omar Amir! Ca$h says Omar has no idea what he got himself into. Josh Ashcraft comes out and says no one signs a contract until he goes over it first! He tells Omar he saw his mom working the corner as he came to the arena tonight. Ca$h attacks Omar from behind, hitting him with the belt.
He hits Omar onto the table, then lays part of the broken table and a chair on Omar. He goes up top and hits the Payload!

This ended the TV taping.
