Without further ado:
Here we go...
Pre-Show Dark Matches:
Dylan controls early and takes "selfies" with Ray Lyn. Elvis fires back, hitting a bulldog and jumping across Dylan's back, who was perched on the second rope. Elvis goes to the top rope, but Ray Lyn gets in and poses in front of the corner. Elvis jumps down and tells her to get out of the ring. Dylan recovers and hits Elvis with the Backstabber for the 3.
WINNER: BOSTIC by pinfall.
"The Mexicutioner" Robo De Luna vs. Ryan Howe.
Robo with some strikes early, but pulls down his kneepad and misses a charge in the corner, injuring his knee. Howe works it over and makes him tap to the figure four leglock.
WINNER: HOWE by submission.
Dwight gets the better of Bodyguy, finishing him off with a stunner for the 3.
WINNER: DWIGHT by pinfall.
That concludes tonight's pre-show dark matches. I always recommend watching
the episode first on TV or online before reading the rest of the report.
Again, you can check it out on OVW's official website late Thursday
afternoon/evening at www.ovwrestling.com/tv
and on WBNA ion-21 in the Louisville area Saturdays at 9AM with replays Wednesdays at 9PM after WWE Main Event.
OVW SOUTHERN TAG TEAM TITLES: "The Mobile Homers" Adam Revolver & Ted McNaler vs. Mohamad Ali Vaez & Michael Hayes (c).
Adam & Ted try to take the titles and run off, but are caught by Ali & Hayes. Ali & Hayes control most of the match as the Mobile Homer on the outside continues to try and sneak over and take off with the belts. Ted is lined up and about to get the finishers from Hayes & Ali, when Adam pulls him out of the ring. They grab the titles and continue out the side door as Brittany Devore runs out from the back with car keys and follows them out as Ali & Hayes chase after them all. The referee counts out both teams.
DOUBLE COUNTOUT.
STILL OVW TAG CHAMPIONS: HAYES & ALI.
TRIPLE THREAT NON-TITLE MATCH: Ray Lyn vs. Jessie Belle vs. OVW Women's Champion Lei'D Tapa.
Tapa
totally dominated this matchup. She hit an over the shoulder backbreaker on Jessie Belle, then a TKO to Ray Lyn. As Tapa went to pin Ray Lyn, Jessie Belle recovered and kicked Tapa from behind, which knocked Tapa from the ring. Jessie Belle stole the pin for the victory.
WINNER: JESSIE BELLE by pinfall.
Bodyguy looked totally confused as the fans were very loud cheering Melvin's name, and he tried telling Melvin not to listen to the fans, covering his ears. Melvin dominated, hitting a big slam, holding Leon up for a long vertical suplex, and finishing him off with the bearhug for the tapout.
WINNER and STILL OVW TV CHAMPION: MELVIN by submission.
Trailer Park Trash comes to the ring and wants to know what the deal is with Tony Gunn. Why did he join the Marauders, and why did he attack him? He calls Gunn out. Gunn shows up on the monitors with Shiloh Jonze, Raul LaMotta, Clint Poe, & Nick Dumeyer. He tells Trash that OVW's motto is "Tomorrow's Superstars Today". He says that in his time here, he has been put on the sideline, on the backburner, but no more. He is going to create his own opportunity. Flash shows up behind the Marauders and blasts them with the kendo stick. The Marauders spill out through the curtain and Trash & Flash go to work on them. Shiloh sneaks out with a chair and blasts Flash in the head.
The numbers game catches up to Trash & Flash, and the Marauders blast them with their kendo sticks. Gunn kicks TPT below the belt again, and Shiloh stomps Flash's hand and arm in between the steel chair.
Dylan
Bostic comes to the ring with Ray Lyn as his search for a new "Wing Man" continues. J. Best comes out and has the opportunity to show Dylan he can be that guy...
Best with some early offense, but gets a little too cocky. EFD recovers, hitting a spinning back elbow off the second rope and taking Best down with the Cripwalk Crossface and makes him tap.
WINNER: EFD by submission.
Dylan is unimpressed, so the search continues.
Jay
Bradley comes out and he now has Mongo the Cut Man, his trainer, with him. He is not just a striker, he is also a shooter, and is going to show again that he is not a one trick pony, like Ryan Howe. He asks for his opponent.
As referee Chris Sharpe tells Mongo to get down, Jay kicks Dwight below the belt who was coming up behind him. He then locks Dwight in the chicken wing, making him tap.
WINNER: BRADLEY by submission.
As Sharpe heads toward the curtain, Jamin Olivencia walks out and stands in front of him. He yells at him to get in the ring. Jamin wants to know what Sharpe was doing last week. Sharpe wants to talk about this in the back, but Jamin is upset and says he wants to know right now. Sharpe says he tried to call him and talk to him, but Jamin wouldn't return his messages. It's been eating at him for a week, and he was just doing his job. Jamin is so upset, he's not believing it. Sharpe reminds Jamin that it was him that campaigned for his rematch in the first place.
As they argue, Marcus Anthony's music hits and he comes out with Timmy Danger. Timmy is laughing about the friction in the ring. He asks Sharpe why he is so upset and says he needs anger management. He asks Jamin the same thing. It was hard to hear Timmy from this point on, because he had a bad mic and the fans were loudly screaming for him to shut up. Jamin said he would do anything to get his hands on both Timmy & Marcus and kick both their teeth in. Timmy laughed and said that wouldn't be very fair, 2-on-1, because he alone would slap Jamin all over the ring. He then has an idea, next week's main event...Timmy Danger & the OVW Heavyweight Champion Marcus Anthony vs. Jamin Olivencia & his partner...Chris Sharpe! Sharpe shakes his head, but Jamin says fine, WE accept. Sharpe tries to talk to Jamin, but Jamin yells at him that they are doing this.
This ended the TV taping.
Post-Show Dark Matches:
Jessie gets distracted by the Marauders at ringside, which allows Gunn to take the advantage. Every time Jessie starts to get some momentum, the Marauders distract the referee and interfere. In the end, Godderz catches Gunn with a big powerslam, but the Marauders jump in and cause a disqualification.
WINNER: GODDERZ by DQ.
Trailer Park Trash runs out with kendo stick in hand to chase them off.
Chris Sharpe should not have to wrestle. He was only doing his job. I like Jamin, but he needs to chill.
ReplyDeleteJamin needs to stop crying and whining and just man up. he lost the title. get over it.
ReplyDeleteJamin's very passionate about the business and wants to be on top. If I had to listen to Timmy Danger's voice, I'd be seeing red, too.
