Based in Louisville, Kentucky, this is where the future happens, and has for nearly 30 years. Since “Nightmare” Danny Davis founded OVW in 1993, the company has had a hand in the training of John Cena, Randy Orton, Brock Lesnar, CM Punk, Batista, Mickie James, Cody Rhodes, Dolph Ziggler, Shawn Spears, Bobby Lashley, The Miz, John Morrison, Kofi Kingston, Mr. Kennedy, Brian Myers, Matt Cardona, Shelton Benjamin, Beth Phoenix, Nick "Eugene" Dinsmore, Ruby Soho, Mark Henry, and many more!
Due to some recent events, we are going on hiatus. This may last a day, a week, a month, a year, or more depending on whether these issues resolve themselves or not. I am not going to release any details at this time. We'll see what happens...

Jay Bradley surprised Davis Arena & gave us a preview of what he plans to do at Brews & Bruises. Jay Bradley defeated J Best.
Robbie Walker destroyed Adam Wylde's already injured knee to claim the victory over his former tag partner.
Rump Thump won the the Golden Ticket Battle Royal & has earned a spot in the Golden Ticket Ladder Match Nov 21st at Brews & Bruises.
Devin Driscoll pulls a cutter out of nowhere to defeat Mitch Huff defeating the OVW TV Championship.
Chris Sharpe defeated David Banyan in a wild and emotional Ref vs Ref Tuxedo Match. Sharpe had no time to celebrate & was attacked by a masked man revealed to be Josh Ashcraft.
The Band Of Brothers The Pope Elijah Burke & Marcus Anthony defeated The Ringmaster & Dapper Dan Van Zabnt via DQ win the Van Zandt sister clown interfered.
OVW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: The crowd was split and electric. Chris Silvio retained his championship after a half hour back and forth battle. In the end Randy Royal took advantage of the referee being knocked out & hit Howe with the title allowing Silvio his opening for victory.
OVW taping 847 just watched the episode online so here are the results:
(Golden ticket qualifier match) Randy Royal def Eric Locker - Josh Ashcraft distracts the ref (Dave Banyon) and Trevor Steele hits Locker from behind and Royal covers for 3.
(Woman's championship battle royal qualifier match) Maria James def Jessie Belle - Belle goes for a kiss from Shane Andrews, Maria James gets a quick roll up for 3.
(Golden ticket qualifier match) Shane Andrews vs Ryan Howe went to a time limit draw, later announced that both men qualify for the golden ticket ladder match.
(OVW tag team title match) The Van Zandt Family Circus(Dapper Dan Van Zandt and The Ringmaster) def The Tag Buddies (Adam Revolver and Stuart Miles) - Scarlet gets in the ring and "faints" causing the distraction, Dapper Dan gets a steel chair and wacks Revolver across the back, Dapper Dan and the Ringmaster hit the General Admittance on Miles for the 3.
(OVW TV title match) Big Jon def Devin Driscoll via DQ - Trevor Steele once again gets involved hitting Big Jon from behind causing the DQ which means Driscoll retain the TV title.
Mark King, I appreciate it that you'd spend the time to inform everyone of these results. However since they have already been shown online since the episode got published, they aren't exactly necessary here. If people want to see the live show that badly, they simply have to watch it.
Which I'm still shocked they post on their website considering their roster page has been out of date for nearly a full year now. Half of those on the page aren't even in OVW anymore, and other's have facts wrong. Lie Jessie Belle or not, she is nowhere near 6 feet tall.
well the reason I did it so Brian didn't feel as though he had to come back to ovwmania, personal stuff comes first I thought if I did it, it would ease the pressure of him.

Rob Conway came out and demanded Dean hill for an OVW heavyweight title match against Ryan Howe, Howe wanted the match right then but Rob Conway said he has to wait until next week which is strange because the OVW facebook page said that Conway won the title in the taping so im not sure what has happened there.
I don't blame Mr. OVWmania ( Brian Cannon ) from taking a hiatus. After talking to several of his friends I found out he had several things going on including the fact that his grandmother has passed away in the last week. Also, as much work as he did for OVW, from going to the matches every week and putting the matches on his web site they still made him pay for every show including the TV tapings and SNS shows. I think had OVW shown him a little gratitude for all he did he may have continued despite the fact he is a full time teacher as well as holding down a part time job to help in his new marriage of 6 months. Naturally, his new wife takes priority over his weekly reports and updates. Mr. Cannon, for your years of work promoting OVW, I thank you, and even if you don't return, I'm grateful for the weekly updates.
Be honest, I don't really care for OVW since Dean Hill took it over. Too much favoritism. I mean, he gives Ryan Howe a title shot that Randy Royal should have got. Gilbert Corsey is biased and Ron Hed has a dirty mouth. And now they want to raise prices to $7.00!?
I have to agree to some extend; Dean has let Ryan get away with a lot. I would much rather have Shannon the Dude than Rod Hed, who has a very grating voice. Better still, bring back Timmy Danger.

They usually do two tapings a night right before the holidays.
