OVW SNS: March 2017 Results

This is the OVW Saturday Night Special Report for Saturday, March 4, 2017.


-Rocco Bellagio defends the OVW Heavyweight Title against Justin Smooth!

-Shannon the Dude gets in the ring against Tyler Matrix.

-Robbie Walker defends the OVW TV Title against Rev. Stuart Miles.

-The annual Nightmare Rumble to determine the #1 contender for the OVW Heavyweight Title at the April SNS.

Your announcers for tonight are Gilbert Corsey & Ron Hed, and Ron is also ring announcer.

OVW TELEVISION TITLE: "The Pastor of Disaster" Rev. Stuart Miles vs. "The King of Hairstyle" Robbie Walker (c).
Stu starts out with chops, and a big back body drop. Stu follows Robbie outside. Robbie knees him, but Stu comes back and chops Robbie against the barricade. Back inside, Robbie chops Stu back and hits a big kneedrop. Stu comes back and goes for 3 amigos, but on the 3rd, Robbie reverses it into a side effect for 2. Robbie locks in a sleeper. Stu comes back with a clothesline, shoulder tackle, running healing, and splashes in the corner. He goes up for some healing slaps, but Robbie pulls him down to the mat. He knocks off the top turnbuckle and goes for the hairspray as the ref puts the turnbuckle back on. He sprays Stu and hits the Comb Over, but Stu kicks out at 2! As Robbie argues with the ref and the ref pulls away his hairspray, Stu pulls a mini bottle of spray out of his tights, sprays Robbie, and hits a claw slam to get the 3!

#1 CONTENDER for the OVW WOMEN'S TITLE: Madi Maxx vs. Callie.
The ladies exchange armbars, before Callie smacks Madi and delivers a hurricanrana. Madi throws her off of a monkey flip attempt, and chokes Callie in the ropes. She clotheslines her and chokes her on the mat. Callie comes back with a crucifix pin attempt for 2, then a roll up for 2. She tries another roll up out of the corner for 2. Callie with 2 clotheslines that stagger Madi, then a spear for 2. Madi drops Callie and locks her into a Boston crab for the tapout.
WINNER and NEW #1 CONTENDER: MADI by submission.

OVW SOUTHERN TAG TEAM TITLES: Billy O & Kevin Giza vs. "Team Next Level": "The Complete Athlete" Devin Driscoll & "Shotgun" Tony Gunn (c).
Big Jon comes out after Giza & Billy enter the ring and says that due to travel issues, Team Next Level couldn't make it tonight. He says Billy & Giza will get their rematch at this Wednesday night's TV taping, but there is no match tonight. He is interrupted by Josh Ashcraft and the Legacy of Brutality. Josh says the Legacy used to be tag champions, so they should get a shot at the titles over Giza & Billy. Jon asks Giza & Billy if they accept the challenge, and they do...
#1 CONTENDERS for the OVW SOUTHERN TAG TEAM TITLES: Billy O & Kevin Giza vs. "The Legacy of Brutality": Ca$h Flo & "Hood Ninja" Hy Zaya (w/Josh Ashcraft).
Hy starts out with some hard shots to Giza, Ca$h delivers some hard chops as well. Hy stomps Giza and chokes him during a referee distraction. Giza leaps over and sunset flips Hy for 2. Hy back with a hard clothesline. Ca$h comes in and delivers a big slam and a kick to the face for 2. After some more cheap tactics, Hy hits an inverted suplex for 2. Hy and Giza double clothesline each other. As Hy goes for the tag, Big Zo has come out and pulled Ca$h off the apron and clubs him, before dumping Josh out of his wheelchair. Meanwhile, Giza tags Billy, who kicks Hy, hits a fameasser, then tags Giza in for the 450 splash for the 3.WINNERS: GIZA & BILLY by pinfall.

OVW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE: Justin Smooth vs. "The Show Stealer" Rocco Bellagio (c).
Rocco pokes fun of Smooth and then showboats in the corner. With his back turned, Smooth removes the wrap around his knee. Rocco turns into a running big boot and Street Justice for 2. Smooth hits Rocco on the outside, but gets caught in a slam on the apron. Smooth rolls in at 9, and Rocco stomps on his knee. Smooth kicks Rocco away, ducks a big boot, and clotheslines Rocco in both corners. He hits a side slam. Rocco suckers him in to hit his bad knee. Off the ropes, Smooth catches Rocco with a powerslam for 2. Smooth slides out of a Plunge attempt. and hits a spinebuster for 2. Smooth goes up top, but Rocco runs up and catches him with a top rope suplex. Both men are down. They exchange blows with Rocco kicking at Smooth's knee, and Smooth firing punches back. Smooth goes for Street Justice, but his knee goes out. Rocco tries a Plunge, but Smooth elbows out. Smooth tries for Street Justice again, but Rocco slides out and hits a Plunge for 2. Rocco locks in a sharpshooter, but Smooth gets to the ropes. Rocco is frustrated and stomps and bites Smooth's knee. Rocco tries for the sharpshooter again, but Smooth rolls him up in an inside cradle for 2. Rocco dropkicks Smooth's knee. Smooth catches Rocco in a Plunge out of nowhere for 2. He goes for the running big boot, but Rocco catches it, drops Smooth and locks in the sharpshooter again. Smooth refuses to tap out and passes out to the pain!

Shannon the Dude vs. "The Young Lion" Tyler Matrix.
Shannon runs around until Matrix "hurts" himself. Matrix was playing possum, and grabs Shannon and chops him on the outside against the barricade. He rolls Shannon in. As he gets in, Shannon pulls out some powder and throws it in Tyler's eyes. He hits him across the back. Tyler gets back up and hits Shannon into the corner. He goes up, but the ref is out of position to see a low blow from Shannon. Shannon undoes the turnbuckle. As the ref puts the pad back on, Shannon goes to hit Tyler with the mic. Tyler ducks and connects with a pele kick. He goes up top for the swanton, but Adam Revolver runs out and shoves Tyler off the top causing a disqualification.
Revolver hits Matrix with a chair and then Shannon gives Matrix a DDT on the chair. Revolver counts to 3 for Shannon and Shannon celebrates as if he just won.

THE NIGHTMARE RUMBLE: Rocco Bellagio comes out for commentary.
Jade Dawson is #1, followed by Rev. Stuart Miles at #2. Raul LaMotta enters at #3, Colton Cage enters at #4, Adam Slade is #5, Robbie Walker is #6, David Lee Lorenze III is #7, Trevor Steele is #8, and LJ is #9. Stu eliminates Jade.
Diamond enters at #10, Dapper Dan is #11, and Billy O is #12. Dapper Dan tosses Cage, and David tosses Slade. Lukas Gibson Jacobs is #13, and Big Zo is #14. Zo tosses Raul, then tosses David who comes in a second time for Act 2, only for Zo to toss him again. Kevin Giza is #15. Steele throws out Billy O. Ca$h Flo is #16.
LJ dropkicks Dapper Dan out. Dan is furious and pulls LJ out. He delivers a Death Valley Driver to him on the floor. Stu throws Walker out. Ted McNaler is #17, Chase Destiny is #18, and Dre Blitz is #19. Steele immediately slams Blitz to the outside. Eric Locker returns at #20! Locker clotheslines Lukas out, then flips Diamond to the outside.
Little Damion is #21. Damion tosses McNaler out. Hy Zaya is #22. He eliminates Ca$h, Zo eliminates Hy, and then Ca$h, Josh Ashcraft, and Hy all pull Zo out!
Dennis Mousa is #23. Steele tosses Giza out. Houdini is #24, and he eliminates Chase. Ultimo Stingray is #25, and he tosses Damion out. Dustin Jackson is #26. Steele hits Houdini out. Adam Revolver is #27, followed by Tyler Matrix at #28. Matrix goes right after Revolver and they eliminate each other. Steele eliminates Dustin.
Apollo is #29, and he eliminates Mousa. Rocco counts down to #30, and it's Big Jon! Jon hits Rocco, then goes in the ring and tosses Apollo out. Jon tosses Stingray, and Steele throws Stu out. The final 3 are Jon, Steele, and Locker. Steele is on the outside of the apron holding Jon. Locker goes off the ropes, and Jon breaks free. Locker flies out of the ring and Steele remains on the apron. He turns into a big boot from Jon, sending him crashing off the apron!
Jon grabs a mic and gets in Rocco's face. He says Dean Hill reinstated him, he will fight Rocco for the OVW Heavyweight Title at the April 1 SNS, and this is no April Fool's joke. He says his last order of business before being reinstated was that if he won the Nightmare Rumble, he would face Rocco at the April 1 SNS in a cage!
