Pre-Show Dark Matches:
Drew Hernandez defeats Josh O'Hagan. Josh avoids Drew early with his speed. Drew grabs him and locks in a wristlock, but Josh reverses. Drew breaks out of it and plants him with a spiked DDT for 2. Drew launches him across the ring. He charges, but Josh dropkicks the knee. Drew back with a fisherman's buster. Josh kicks the knee, but Drew sends him off the ropes and hits a huge clothesline. He pulls himself up on the outside of the apron and shoulders in. He kicks Drew in the head, then dives in with a corkscrew elbow. Drew kicks him and goes for the Mayan Apocalypse, but his knee goes out. Josh kicks it then goes up top. He leaps off, but Drew catches him and plants him with the Mayan Apocalypse for the 3.
Michael Hayes defeats William Lutz (w/Ashton Cove). Lutz & Cove double team Hayes before the bell, but he gets right back up and takes them both down and out. Once the bell rings, Hayes hits Lutz with the headbutts to the chest, clotheslines, and the Dishonorable Discharge for the 3.
That concludes tonight's pre-show dark matches. I always recommend watching the episode first on TV or online before reading the rest of the report. "Category 5" Corey Storm & "The Boy Wonder" Sam Thompson defeat "The Void": Chace Destiny & Nigel Winters. Sam locks up Chace's arm, but gets a forearm to the face in return. Back and forth off the ropes, Sam with an arm drag. Chace returns the favor. They both go for dropkicks at the same time. Both men tag out. They also go back and forth off the ropes with Storm getting a shoulder block takedown of Nigel. Storm knocks Nigel & Chace both to the floor and Sam dives out onto them. Some more quick offense back inside, with the Void getting the upperhand. Nigel monkey flips Chace onto Sam, but Sam gets the knees up. Sam superkicks Nigel and tags Storm, who delivers a double foot stomp off the top rope to the back of Nigel for the 3.
Dustin Jackson comes out and says that he beat Justin Smooth at the Fight at Fort Knox, and he feels like he can do that again. Smooth comes out and says Dustin wouldn't have beat him had Michael Hayes not cheated and for being preoccupied with the masked man. He says Dustin probably hired the masked man. Dustin says he wants Smooth in a match right now. Smooth says he will give him a shot tonight, but if he beats him, he will no longer get his title shot. The masked man runs out and Smooth rolls out. Officials run out and Smooth says to get the masked man.
The masked man gives Change Makers to 3 referees. Smooth gets in and goes for the bicycle kick, but the masked man ducks and Dustin spears him. He says challenge accepted.
"Mr. Marvelous" Melvin Maximus (w/Mrs. Marvelous) defeats Josh O'Hagan. Josh attacks Melvin, but Melvin shoves him across the ring. He then hits the Russian leg sweep and this one is over quicker than the entrance of the Marvelous Ones.
OVW WOMEN'S TITLE MATCH: Megan Bayne (c) defeats Valerie Vermin. Meg totally dominates the match, putting Val away with the faceplant for the 3.
After the match, Meg says she proved to Cali Young why she is the champion, and she will be a fighting champion. Starting next week, she will defend the title, starting with Thunderkitty. She hopes she has 9 lives, because she will beat 1 of them out of her!
TELEVISION TITLE GAUNTLET MATCH:
Adam Revolver defeats KTD. KTD fires away on Adam. He hits a back elbow off the ropes, but then Adam locks him in the sleeper and KTD passes out.
Adam Revolver defeats William Alexander Moore. Moore shoulder blocks Adam down off the ropes, then shoulder tackles him. Moore hits a neckbreaker, but Adam drops him in the corner and locks in the sleeper. Moore passes out.
"The Real Deal" Randall Floyd (c) defeats Adam Revolver. Floyd takes it to Adam early, but Adam tries to lock in the sleeper. Floyd reverses it into a Deal Breaker for the 3.
"The Real Deal" Randall Floyd (c) defeats Ashton Cove (w/William Lutz). Cove poses on the top rope, then Floyd follows him up and hits a back body drop for the 3.
NON-TITLE MATCH: #1 Contender Dustin Jackson defeats OVW Heavyweight Champion Justin Smooth. Dustin takes it to Smooth early and hits the nice dropkick. Smooth rolls to the outside and finally gets back in. Dustin throws him into the corner and splashes him twice, but misses a third. Smooth drives him into the opposite corner. Off the ropes, Dustin hits Smooth with a back elbow. He spells "BRO" in the corner hitting Smooth, but Smooth hits him in the gut. He misses an elbow drop, and Dustin slams him. Smooth comes back and has a chinlock on Dustin. Dustin works up and slams Smooth. He goes up top, but Smooth knocks him down and to the outside. Jay Bradley comes out and asks Smooth what he's doing. Smooth says he's got this and Jay says he is still charging him. Smooth rolls him in, but Dustin comes back with a falcon arrow, then delivers the spalsh off the top rope for the 3.
This ended the TV taping.
DARK MATCH: OVW Southern Tag Team Champion Leonis Khan defeats Big D (w/DL3 & Shiloh Jonze). Leonis with a side headlock. DL3 trips him and Leonis hits him, then shoulder blocks D down. DL3 distracts the ref, so that Shiloh can trip Leonis and D hits him from behind. D splashes him in the corner, but Leonis comes back and takes D down with the leaping clothesline, then puts him away with a frog splash for the 3.
DARK MATCH: OVW Southern Tag Team Champion Maximus Khan defeats Jay Bradley. Jay boots Max out of the ring before the bell. They fight on the outside with Jay telling me to "type this up" as he smashes Max's head off the guardrail in front of me. Back inside, Jay sets up for a Boomstick, but Max spears him. Jay comes back and rams Max off the top turnbuckle from the apron, then knees him. He steps across his stomach and drops an elbow from the second rope for 2. Jay goes for the Boomstick again, but Max comes back with a huge shoulder tackle. Off the ropes, Jay locks Max up in an abdominal stretch. Max fights out and catches a boot and kicks Jay's leg. He hits a back body drop, avoids a charge, and rolls Jay up for the 3. Jay attacks him after the match until Leonis comes out and fights Jay away.
