This is the OVW Report for the February 1, 2020 (105th) edition of the Saturday Night Special!
Tonight:

Your announcers for tonight are Gilbert Corsey & Dr. Ted McNaler, and McNaler is also pulling double duty as the ring announcer.
AJ with a quick dropkick. He misses a charge in the corner, but flips to the apron where he kicks Corey in the head. He flips in with a splash for 2. AJ with a rolling slam and Lionsault for 2. Corey catches him up top and knocks him off the top rope. He clotheslines him in the corner, but misses the Eye of the Storm. AJ catches him with a flipping slam for 2. AJ locks him in a submission stretching the arm and tries to lock in a cross armbreaker. Corey fights out and kicks AJ off the apron. Corey dives out on him. Back inside, Corey misfires and AJ locks him in another submission concentrated on the left arm. Corey arm drags him and hits an uppercut in the corner. AJ kicks the knee out and does the 3-count kicks, followed by the Zero Gravity Kick. He goes up top and misses. Corey dropkicks him hard into the corner and hits the Eye of the Storm for the 3!
WINNER and STILL OVW RUSH CHAMPION: STORM by pinfall.
Nigel tries to crawl through Drew's legs, but Drew picks him up. Nigel slides out, but is caught with a shoudler block off the ropes. Drew flips Ashton in onto Nigel for 2. KTD tags in and runs into an arm drag. D'mone tags in and monkey flips him. Bizo tags in and tags AJZ. Bizo slams him and AJZ hits an elbow drop off the second rope. KTD throws him into the corner, misses a charge, and AJZ arm drags him out. KTD grabs him by the hair and throws him off the ropes. Nigel kicks AJZ from behind. Michaels tags in and clubs him across the back hard. AJZ tries to fire back, but runs into a back elbow off the ropes. Luscious tags in and clubs AJZ, then poses. Lutz tags in and clubs AJZ as well. He knees AJZ in the side and tags Michaels back in. Michaels with a hard shot in the corner. Luscious kicks AJZ and stops a tag, then hits everyone on the apron in AJZ's corner. All 10 men break loose and fight all over the ring inside and out. Everyone hits their finishers on one another until it's just Luscious & Bizo. AJZ gets in to hit a 3D with Bizo on Luscious for the win.
DL# tries to leave, but Dustin flips him back in and delivers his picture-perfect dropkick. Off the ropes, Cali trips him and DL3 takes control. He kicks Dustin and locks in a headlock. Dustin breaks free, but Cali kicks him off the ropes. DL3 hits him from behind again and Cali chokes him from the outside. He misses the corner clothesline and Dustin hits a Michinoku Driver. He tags Megan which forces Cali to get in. Cali tries to run, but runs into Dustin. Megan hits her off the apron and rolls her in. She takes Cali down and suplexes DL3 as he tries to get in. Dustin gets DL3 on his shoulders, but slides off and pushes him into Megan. Cali rolls her up with a handful of tights for the 3.
Dan has a mic and says to make this quick, because he's thinking about calling Valerie (Verman) later! Sam goes right after him, hitting him in the corner and chopping him. He kicks him in the face and hits him on the outside. Dan fires back, but Sam hits him back and rolls him in. He flips in for a sunset flip, but Dan holds the ropes. He misses a stomp. Dan throws him into the corner, but Sam fires back again. Dan shoulders him in the corner and chops him. He delivers a sidewalk slam for 2. He locks him in a submission. Sam works up, but Dan pulls him down by his hair. Sam gets up firing, but Dan clubs him. He misses a charge in the corner, and Sam kicks him in the back of the head and hits the Duck Call. Dan rolls out and Sam dives out on him. Back inside, Dan catches him with the Death Valley Driver for the 3!
WINNER: DAPPER by pinfall.
After the match, Dan gets back in and continues to pummel Sam. He brings in the briefcase and stomps his head on it. Crixus runs out to chase Dan off.

The wedding is interrupted by Sinn Bodhi on the monitors, then by Cali Young & DL3. Cali thinks it is a campaign party. Amon yells at her, then delivers an STH to DL3. He says there will be no more interruptions. He has a druid in the ring with him and drinks from a cup after saying "I do". He says "Misery Marvelous" wants to say "I do" also and tells the druid to give her the cup. Instead, he throws it in Amon's face and hits him. It's Melvin Maximus.
Hy goes after Dimes, but Dimes ducks and fires away. Dimes & Storm double team Hy, then Zo. Dimes dives out on them, but they catch him. Storm dives out to take them all down. Back inside, a double dropkick to Hy from Dimes & Storm. Storm goes for an arm drag, but Hy holds on and delivers a backbreaker. They concentrate on Storm's bad arm, hurt from the match earlier against AJ Daniels. Zo charges into him in the corner, then tags Hy in. Hy comes down across the bad arm. Zo tags in again and continues to hit and work over the arm. Storm slides out of Zo's grasp and tags Dimes. Dimes takes Zo off his feet and tags Storm back in. They both go for a flip off the ropes, but Storm hurts his arm. Dimes gets hit from behind as he checks on Storm. Zo & Hy then hit Storm with a combo suplex/sit out slam for the 3.

Ray uses her speed early to avoid Max's grasp. She dropkicks her a few times, but Max never drops off her feet. Off the ropes, Max catches her on her shoulders and hits a huge Samoan drop for 2. Max clubs her repeatedly across the back. She picks her up and slams her. Off the ropes, she misses a legdrop. Ray jumps on her back and locks in a sleeper. Max drives her into the corner. She leaps back on her again. Max drives her into the corner again. Max splashes her in the corner and slings her out. Max heaves her into the corner, but Ray starts to fire back. Max catches her with a full Nelson slam for 2. Max charges, but Ray drop toeholds her into the ropes and dropkicks her in the back of the head. She hits a neckbreaker through the ropes for 2. Ray with a running knee in the corner. She goes up and hits a flying dropkick for 2. She misses a kick and Max delivers the Electric Chair drop in the corner. Max charges her in the corner, but Ray moves and Max hits the ringpost. Ray with not one, but two electric heels to the head of Max to take her down and get the 3!

Ca$h charges, but Maximus drops him and pounds away. Ca$h with a knee, but runs into a boot. Maximus clotheslines him. He hits him in the corner and delivers the 10 punches. Ca$h shoves him off and runs into a kick. Ca$h puts him up on his shoulders and hits a huge Samoan drop. Ca$h with some chops. Ca$h throws him outside. He goes after him, but Maximus hits him around ringside and rolls him back in. Off the ropes, Maximus hits a cross body for 2. Ca$h goes back outside. Josh causes a distraction that allows Ca$h to recover and hit Maximus from behind. He clubs him in the ropes and headbutts him in the gut. Maximus elbows out of the corner, but Ca$h clubs him back down. He locks in an abdominal stretch. Maximus fights out, but runs into a powerslam. Ca$h goes up top, but Maximus catches him and superplexes him. He tries to pin for 2. Maximus goes for the spear, but Ca$h moves and Maximus hits the ringpost. Ca$h rolls him up with a handful of tights for 2. Off the ropes, Maximus ducks a clothesline and hits the spear for the 3. As soon as the bell rings, the Legacy of Brutality hits the ring and attacks Maximus.
Smooth tries to pin him with one finger twice, but Maximus kicks out. He tries again by hooking the leg, but Maximus still manages to kick out. Smooth misses a charge in the corner and Maximus rolls him up for 2. Smooth catches him with a spinebuster off the ropes. He stomps Maximus and chokes him. He goes out and grabs his glass of champagne. He takes a drink and spits it in Maximus' face, then pours it on him. Maximus gets angry and fires away. He delivers a huge spinebuster, but misses a spear, going into the ringpost. Smooth pulls him in for 2. Smooth goes for Street Justice, but Maximus moves, kicks Smooth, and hits a scissor kick. He hits Smooth in the corner and Smooth moves the ref in the way of a jumping clothesline from Maximus. Maximus catches Smooth with a spear, but the ref is out. He sets up for another one, but Tony Gunn attacks him from behind. He delivers a Killshot with brass knuckles. Smooth crawls over for the pin as the ref awakens. 1-2-NO! Maximus somehow kicks out within centimeters of the 3. Smooth pounds away on him, then stomps him. Smooth goes for Street Justice, but is met with a spear! 1-2-3!
