OVW TV 1105: A Nightmare for the L.O.B.?

  

This is the OVW Report for Tuesday, October 13, 2020. In this episode, Al Snow makes a big announcement about the Nightmare Cup and the Southern Tag Team Titles, Women's Champion Mazzerati is in action, plus more!

"J Mo"
 Jesse Morris vs. "The Golden Boy" AJZ
.
AJZ with a big left that knocks J Mo out of the ring. J Mo rakes the eye, but AJZ back with a hard clothesline. He hits a spinning back elbow off the ropes, then connects with a Samoan drop for the 3.
WINNER: AJZ by pinfall.

Brandon Espinosa vs. "The Nephilim" D'mone Solavino
.
D'mone with 2 quick arm drags, then he ducks a clothesline and hits a third. Espy hits him into the corner and charges. D'mone flips him over to the apron. Espy with a hard shot and dives in. He goes for a super kick, but D'mone catches the foot and rolls him up for 2. They lock up and Espy hits a spinning kick to D'mone's head. Espy goes for a powerbomb, but D'mone rolls through for 2. D'mone with another roll-up for 2. He takes Espy down with another pin attempt with bridge and gets the 3!
WINNER: D'MONE by pinfall.

"Hollywood"
 Adam Swayze & His "Co-star" Rex vs. "Zero Gravity" AJ Daniels & "The 7-Mile Destroyer" Isaiah Broner

Broner tosses Adam down twice, then clotheslines him hard in the corner. He slams Adam as he tags AJ, and AJ flips in on Adam. Adam takes control and tags Rex. Rex clubs AJ and splashes him in the corner. Rex goes for another after tagging Adam and AJ moves, causing Rex to splash Adam. AJ hits Rex with a Zero Gravity Kick and tags Broner. Broner clotheslines Adam, then hits Rex with 3 clotheslines. Rex stays on his feet as Adam gets back up and hits Broner. Broner fights back and takes Rex down, then hits Adam with a spinebuster. He tags AJ and AJ hits the 450 from the top rope for the 3.
WINNERS: AJ & BRONER by pinfall.

"Hollyhood"
 Haley J vs. "Little & Mean" Salena Dean vs. Joseline Navarro
.
Quick action with several pinfall attempts. Joseline hits Haley with a mean German suplex, then stacks her and Salena up in the corner. She hits a running splash and gets the 3 on Salena.
WINNER: JOSELINE by submission.

Steve Michaels (w/
"The Legacy of Brutality": Ca$h Flo, "Hood Ninja" Hy Zaya, "The East End Villain" Josh Ashcraft, & Big Zo) vs. William Lutz.
Steve clubs Lutz and squashes him early. Lutz tries to fire back and go up top for a "Deadman-esque" walk across the top rope and hit across the arm, but Steve flings him down to the mat. He connects with a huge chokeslam for the 3.
WINNER: MICHAELS by pinfall.

Jay Bradley & Rush Champion Dimes vs. Omar Amir & "Livewire" KTD
.
Dimes grabs KTD by the tights and tags Jay. Jay works over the arm and Dimes tags back in. Jay yells at him for getting in the way. Omar is tagged and shoulder blocks Dimes down to the mat. Dimes tries to slam Omar, but Omar falls on top of him. KTD tags back in, but he gets cornered and double-teamed by Dimes & Jay. Jay with a snap suplex, but misses a kneedrop. KTD & Omar double team Jay with a flurry of fists in the corner. Omar goes for a suplex, but Jay drives him into the corner and Dimes gets in. Jay throws Dimes at Omar, but Omar catches him and throws him back at Jay. Jay locks KTD up into the corner and hits some hard chops. KTD reverses and hits Jay, but Dimes blind tags and hits KTD from behind. KTD & Dimes both tag out to Omar & Jay. Omar with some big clotheslines to Jay and a back body drop. Omar hits Jay with a big spinebuster off the ropes. He hits Dimes with a hard right as KTD gets in and hits Jay with a t-bone suplex with help of a dropkick from Omar. Dimes pulls KTD out of the ring and throws him into the ringpost. Omar hits Jay with a belly to belly, but Dimes throws in a chair, then goes to low blow Omar. Omar catches him and gets him up on his shoulders. Dimes slides off and shoves Omar into a Boomstick from Jay. Dimes tags in and climbs on Jay's back. They hit a double splash on Omar, and Dimes gets the 3.
WINNERS: DIMES & JAY by pinfall.

We open with Bryan Kennison in the ring. He brings out the owner, Al Snow. He says they have two big events each year named after the founder, Danny Davis. He says there will be a one night tournament on November 7 and the winners will get a shot at the Legacy of Brutality that same night for the OVW Southern Tag Team Titles. He says the L.O.B. will not be able to participate as they did last year since they are the champions.
The Legacy comes out and Josh Ashcraft says he is excluding 2 of his members by not allowing them to participate. Al says they will get the opportunity to be in the tournament if they lose the titles tonight when they put them on the line against Ryan Howe & Dustin Jackson
!

DL3
comes out and says the country is in sad shape and we need a real American hero to get things back on track. This brings out Roman Rozell. DL3 tries to attack, but Roman blocks him and clubs him down. He locks him up in the Patriot's Wheel and DL3 taps.
Dillon McQueen
comes out on the entrance ramp and gets Roman's attention. Roman goes out after him, but Luscious Lawrence comes in from the side door and attacks Roman from behind. He rolls Roman in the ring and locks him in his own Patriot's Wheel! The refs come out to break him off.

NON-TITLE MATCH: Harley Fairfax vs. Women's Champion Mazzerati.
Harley with the power advantage early. Mazz catches a boot and kicks her other leg. She throws her in the corner and hits a double knee, then kicks her in the head for 2. Off the ropes, Mazz hold on and kicks her in the midsection. Mazz kicks the leg again and drives her to the mat. Mazz misses a charge in the corner and Harley with some forearm shots. Harley has her on the shoulders, but Mazz fights off. She hits eat de-feet and a kick to the head for the 3.
WINNER: MAZZERATI by pinfall.

Bryan Kennison
brings out Tony Bizo. Bryan asks about Bizo attacking Brandon Tate after Tate hurt his ankle during their match last week. Bizo wants to set the record straight and tells Bryan to mind his own business and tells the fans to sit back and enjoy. Ashton Cove comes out and says the Tate Twins are his friends and this is now his business, and Al Snow said they could have a match right now...
"Supernatural"
Tony Bizo vs. "Action" Ashton Cove (c).
Bizo attacks Cove as he is taking his shirt off. He hits the Bizo Bomb for a quick 3.
WINNER: BIZO by pinfall.

OVW SOUTHERN TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: "Wrestling's Rockstar" Ryan Howe & Dustin Jackson vs. "The Legacy of Brutality""Hood Ninja" Hy Zaya & Ca$h Flo (w/"The East End Villain" Josh Ashcraft, Big Zo, & Steve Michaels) (c).
Ca$h & Howe lock up. Off the ropes, Ca$h shoulder blocks him down. Off the ropes again, Howe ducks a clothesline and hits a shoulder tackle that knocks Ca$h off his feet. Hy tags in and exchanges blows with Howe. Off the ropes, Howe takes Hy down and then dropkicks him. Dustin & Ca$h both tag in. Dustin locks him up and tags Howe. Howe hits the arm and Ca$h rolls out. Howe slides out and hits a hurricanrana on Ca$h. The Legacy regroups and surrounds the ring. They cause a distraction that allows Hy to throw Howe into a running splash from Ca$h. Hy with a double foot stomp to the gut and he pounds away on Howe. In the corner, Hy with a hard chop and a tag to Ca$h. Ca$h with a kick and a chop. Howe chops back, but Ca$h throws him hard in the corner. Hy dropkicks Howe in the corner and kicks him off the apron. He pounds him again and then locks in a chinlock. He tags Ca$h and Ca$h chops him. Howe slides out of a slam and tags Dustin. He fires away on Ca$h & Hy and Howe gets involved again. They go for a double suplex on Ca$h, but he hits their heads together. He goes to clothesline them, but they duck and hit a double running boot. They both dive out on Zo & Michaels. Dustin hits the top rope splash on Ca$h, but Josh breaks the pin.
WINNERS: DUSTIN & HOWE, but STILL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: LEGACY.

This ended the TV taping.
