Without further ado:

Here we go...

OVW Overdrive (Airing Saturdays at 11AM):

Eric Cornish & AJ McKay are on commentary, Ms. Stephanie is the ring announcer.

"Savage"
Kyle Hawk, "Iron Bear" Tom Coffey, & "Livewire" KTD vs. "The Fanny Pack Kid" Kal Herro, "Action" Ashton Cove, & William Lutz
.
KTD & Herro lock up and have several reversals. KTD back with a back drop. Coffey comes in and Herro and his team take control working over his arm. Hawk gets tagged in and gets worked over as well. A distraction by Coffey allows Hawk and his team to take control. Lutz & Hawk are then legal and Lutz hits a cross body and slam. Coffey breaks the pin, then gets super kicked by Herro. Hawk wants KTD to hit Lutz. They argue and KTD knocks Hawk out into a double underhook DDT by Lutz for the 3.
WINNERS: HERRO, COVE, & LUTZ by pinfall.

"The Co-Star"
Rex vs. Omar Amir
.
Omar with a quick start and dropkick. He tries to lift Rex up to no avail. Rex clubs him, then throws him out of the ring. He brings him in and works him over some more, but Omar avoids a charge and splashes Rex in the corner. He clotheslines him and finally gets him down on a third running attempt. He gets him up and plants him with the spinebuster for the 3.
WINNER: OMAR by pinfall.

Jay Bradley & Rush Champion Dimes vs.
Manny Lemons & Spencer Slade.
Dimes keeps trying to one-up Jay's power moves. In the end, Slade accidentally knocks Jay into the ropes, which makes Manny fall across the top turnbuckle on his "lemons". Jay & Dimes hit the double-team splash for the 3.
WINNERS: JAY & DIMES by pinfall.

Brandon Espinosa vs. "Golden Boy" AJZ
.
AJZ with a quick takedown as Espy tries to attack from behind. He hits a kneedrop and goes for the spinning cutter. Espy slides off, clubs AJZ across the back and throws him into the ringpost. He hits a running cross body for 2. He locks in a chinlock. AJZ fires back, hits a spinning back elbow, then a splash in the corner. AJZ with a forward release suplex for 2. He gets him on his shoulders, but Espy slides off. Espy goes for a spinning kick, AJZ, ducks, then gets him on his shoulders again for the spinning cutter and the 3.
WINNER: AJZ by pinfall.

Luscious Lawrence & Dillon McQueen are out. Luscious has a neck brace and a crutch, and he is favoring his left leg. He yells about Roman Rozell injuring him and asks how he thinks his family feels, that Roman took food off their table. Dillon says he was a marine, but the military is nothing more than bullies. Omar Amir comes out and says he is from the Bahamas and came here and joined the military. He says that's the reason they have the freedoms they do, and why Dillon can wear that stupid pink coat. Dillon argues with Omar, which allows Luscious to sneak around from behind and hit Omar from behind with the crutch. He attacks Omar with it until the refs separate them.

"Little & Mean"
Salena Dean, Harley Fairfax, & Reka Tehaka vs. "Smothers Twisted Daughters": Jessie Belle, Izza Belle, & Mari Belle
.
Controlled for the most part by the STD's, they finish off the other team with a trio of roll-ups. After the match, they do a tribute to their father, Tracy Smothers, who passed last Wednesday to cancer.
WINNERS: SMOTHERS by pinfall.

That concludes tonight's edition of Overdrive. I always recommend watching the episode first on TV or online before reading the report. Again, you can check OVW out on Youtube, Roku, Youtoo America Fridays at 12AM Midnight, or WBNA-21 in the Louisville area at 8PM or repeats Saturdays at 9PM and Overdrive Saturdays at 11AM on WBNA-21. Also, catch OVW on the OVW Network.

Bryan Kennison & Steven Johnson are on commentary, Eric Cornish is the ring announcer.

The show starts with the 10-bell salute to Tracy Smothers and a recap of the encounter between Brian Pillman Jr. & Tony Gunn from last week.

Gustavo vs. Star Rider.
A lot of quick back and forth action. Star misses a swanton and Gustavo hits his finisher, but the Legacy of Brutality comes out and attacks both men.
NO CONTEST.
Josh Ashcraft
has a mic and says he doesn't get what the fans and management doesn't understand. Al Snow comes out and says he is going to have 4 of OVW's best face them tonight and the fans will help decide!

Jessie Belle Smothers vs. Reka Tehaka.
Jessie Belle with a quick start and arm drags. Reka takes control and works her over. She misses a dive off the top. Jessie with some shoulder tackles and an armlock submission for the tapout.
WINNER: JESSIE by submission.

"Hollywood"
Adam Swayze vs. "The Warlord of Weird" Sinn Bodhi.
Sinn goes right after Adam. He clotheslines him, headbutts him, slams him and funnel cakes him. He bites and claws him also. He tickles him, then Adam moves from a charge and Sinn hits the ringpost. Adam fires on him, but it doesn't really faze him. Sinn with a chokeslam, then the tallulah belle for the 3.
WINNER: SINN by pinfall.
After the match, Sinn says the Nightmare Cup is coming up. He needs a partner just as crazy as he is. He brings out his partner...Amon!

8-MAN ELIMINATION TAG: "The Legacy of Brutality": Big Zo, Ca$h Flo, "Hood Ninja" Hy Zaya, & Steve Michaels (w/"The East End Villain" Josh Ashcraft) vs. "The Tate Twins": Brandon & Brent, Dustin Jackson, & Ryan Howe.
Howe & Ca$h start. Ca$h hits Howe in the corner. Howe fires back and tags Dustin, they hit a double dropkick. Hy tags in and gets a dropkick from Dustin. Zo tags in and the L.O.B. controls against Howe with Howe getting splashed in the corner and hit on the outside. Zo pins him and eliminates him. A lot of quick tags in and out on both sides. Hy spews a mist into Brandon's eyes, eliminating them both. Hy by disqualification, and Brandon because he can't see. Brent with a roll-up on Zo for 3. Steve clubs Brent and chokes him in the ropes. Brent with a cutter off the ropes and hot tag to Dustin. Dustin with the splash off the top for the 3. Ca$h is in and lights Dustin up with some chops. Dustin gets a tag to Brent and they hit a double dropkick. Brent with 10 punches in the corner on Ca$h, but Ca$h flings him off and goes for a clothesline. He takes out the ref as Brent moves. Ca$h goes out and grabs a table after shoving Dustin off the top rope. He sets it up and falls on it after Dustin & Brent both knee him. They go up, but Hy comes out and takes Brent down. Ca$h knocks Dustin down, but Hy accidentally spews more mist in Ca$h's eyes. Hy is taken out and Brent hits eat de-feet on Ca$h onto the table. Dustin hits the splash off the top for the 3.
WINNERS: DUSTIN & BRENT by pinfall.
After the match, Al Snow comes out and tells Josh that he will be a part of the team that defends the titles at the Nightmare Cup!
