OVW TV 1109: I Want What You Got!

 

This is the OVW Report for Tuesday, November 10, 2020. OVW TV can be seen LIVE at 8PM ET on WBNA-21 in the Louisville area with repeats Saturday nights at 9PM, and you can also watch via Youtube, Roku, or Friday nights at 12AM Midnight on Youtoo America! In this episode, Brian Pillman Jr. is in action and makes a big announcement about Christmas Chaos, the fallout from the Saturday Night Special, plus more!

OVW Overdrive (Airing Saturdays at 11AM):

Brandon Espinosa & "The Nephilim" D'mone Solavino vs. "Zero Gravity" AJ Daniels & "The 7-Mile Destroyer" Isaiah Broner

Quick arm drags to Espy by AJ. Espy locks him up from behind. AJ reverses Espy into the corner and monkey flips him out for 2. He tags Broner and Broner hits a spinning back elbow. A tag to AJ. A suplex by Broner and flip in from AJ, but D'mone breaks the pin. Espy takes control while AJ argues with D'mone. He tags D'mone and D'mone clubs him and tags Espy abck in. They throw him hard in the corner and Espy hits a seated clothesline. D'mone with a twisting slam. Espy tags back in and he grabs AJ by the hair. He hits a neckbreaker. He locks in a chinlock and AJ works up and elbows, but gets pulled down by his hair. D'mone tags in and they throw AJ to the corner, but he flips over and through them for the tag to Broner. Broner fires away and Samoan drops D'mone, while also catching and fall away slamming Espy. He delivers a seated spinebuster to D'mone and tags AJ. AJ with the 450 splash off the top for the 3.
WINNERS: AJ & BRONER by pinfall.

"Delicious"
 Van Vicious vs. "Wildcat" Baylum Lynx
.
Lock up, off the ropes, Lynx with a spinning back kick. Van comes back and controls most of the match. He keeps Lynx grounded and Lynx starts to fight back. Van goes up top, but Lynx moves as he leaps off. Van lands on his feet, but eats a super kick for the 3.
WINNER: LYNX by pinfall.

5-MAN RUSH SCRAMBLE: "Hollywood" Adam Swayze vs. Reverend Ronnie Roberts vs. "The Fanny Pack Kid" Kal Herro vs. JC Addams vs. William Lutz
.
A lot of quick action. Lutz dives out on Adam, JC, & Ronnie. Kal jumps out on everyone, but gets blindsided by Ronnie. Ronnie takes Kal down, then Adam takes Lutz down for 2. Lutz rolls out, then JC takes Adam out with a running boot. Lutz is outside, and Adam & Ronnie fight on the outside, leaving JC & Kal in the ring. Kal hits a roll-over suplex for 2, then hits a brainbuster for the 3.
WINNER and NEW #1 RUSH CONTENDER: HERRO by pinfall.

"Golden Boy"
 AJZ & "Greatness Personified" TGA Moss vs. Dustin Jackson & Ryan Howe
.
AJZ with a dropkick to Howe, then Howe tries a small package after AJZ poses. They lock up in the corner with them pulling each other's hair. Both men tag out. Stalemate with 2 dropkick attempts at the same time from Dustin & TGA. AJZ tags back in and kicks Dustin and works him over. TGA  tags back in and so does Howe. TGA with some quick offense. Off the ropes, AJZ pulls the top rope down so Howe falls out. TGA gets mad at AJZ for cheap tactics. Howe takes the opportunity to get in and tag Dustin. TGA gets in and Howe hits an inverted atomic drop, then Dustin hits the running boot to the face for the 3.
WINNERS: HOWE & DUSTIN by pinfall.

"New Money"
 Salena Dean & "Hollyhood" Haley J vs. Joseline Navarro & Nikki Victory vs. Harley Fairfax & Lilith Grimm

A lot of quick in and outs from each competitor early. Nikki gets worked over by Haley & Salena before tagging Joseline. Joseline with release German suplexes to Salena & Harley. She takes Haley out, then with Nikki delivers a double suplex to Lilith. Joseline with a snap DDT, then hits the running splash to a seated Lilith in the corner for the 3.
WINNERS: JOSELINE & NIKKI by pinfall.

RUSH CHAMPIONSHIP: "The Fanny Pack Kid" Kal Herro vs. Dimes (w/Jay Bradley) (c)
.
They lock up into the corner. Fair break by Kal. Dimes locks him up from behind. Kal jitterbugs out. He delivers a backdrop for 2. Dimes back working on the leg. He hits a suplex. Kal fires back up with clotheslines and a running splash. He hits the brainbuster, but Jay puts Dimes' foot on the ropes. The ref throws Jay out. Meanwhile, Dimes low blows Kal from behind and gets the 3.
WINNER and STILL RUSH CHAMPION: DIMES by pinfall.

"Livewire"
KTD vs. Brian Pillman Jr.
 A side headlock by Pillman. He takes KTD down to the mat with it. KTD tries to roll him over for 1. KTD reverses with a headscissors. Off the ropes, KTD & Pillman collide. Pillman back with a shoulder block takedown, then a kick to the chest. He chops him. Out of the corner, KTD jumps on Pillman's back. Pillman slings him down and runs into a boot. Pillman catches him with a powerslam. He kicks KTD in the back, then goes for a suplex. KTD slides over and delivers several jabs. Pillman fires back, then KTD jumps back on his back. He has a sleeper locked in, but Pillman runs him into the corner. He delivers a super kick and finishes him off with a jackhammer for the 3.
WINNER: PILLMAN by pinfall.
After the match, Pillman grabs a mic and says he is looking to get that shot against Tony Gunn. He says Gunn is not out here defending the title. The paper champ is getting thinner by the day, like his patience. He says he feels like he is trapped inside a cage. He says Decemeber 5 at Christmas Chaos, it will be him vs. Gunn inside a steel cage!

The Legacy of Brutality
is out to the ring. Josh Ashcraft is holding his side. He says Saturday did not go as planned. He is not happy right now. He says the Southern Tag Team Championships are property of the L.O.B. He says he always has a backup plan, and in the contract he had in there that anytime and anywhere he gets a rematch. They will reclaim the titles in the main event tonight. It just so happens they have not seen the Tate Twins tonight.

WINNER GETS BIZO'S LETTERMAN JACKET: "Supernatural" Tony Bizo vs. "Action" Ashton Cove.
Bizo takes Cove down hard and delivers a hard punch. He hits a big slam, then throws Cove over the top rope. Cove hangs on and headscissors Bizo out. He goes to dive out, but Bizo with a forearm. He hits Cove on the outside. Cove dropkicks him back to the floor as Bizo tries to get in. The ref counts to 10!
WINNER: COVE by countout.
After the match, Bizo attacks Cove from behind. Dustin Jackson & Ryan Howe come out to make the save.

Omar Amir comes to the ring. He says he doesn't know the whole deal between Roman Rozell & Luscious Lawrence, but he wanted to come out and share about his grandfather's fight in World War II. He has some of his medals. He says he wants to fight Luscious. He also says we aren't divided and wants everyone to stand and recite the Pledge with him. Luscious comes out on a crutch and Omar says he is scum. Luscious says he was faking, but he is just trying to put food on his family's table. Omar wants to fight and Luscious tells him only if he puts his grandfather's medals on the line. He says maybe Dillon McQueen can make some nice earrings out of them or something. Omar agrees to the match. Luscious takes his time getting in the ring...
WINNER GETS OMAR'S GRANDFATHER'S MEDALS: Luscious Lawrence vs. Omar Amir.
Omar goes after him and fires away. He hits a dropkick and splashes him in the corner. Luscious rolls out. Omar goes out and clubs him from behind. He hits his head off the apron a couple times before Luscious throws Omar off into the ringpost. Omar gets up in the apron and Luscious suplexes him in. Omar fires back and clotheslines him. He moves from a charge in the corner. Haley J comes out with the crutch. She tries to pass it in to Luscious, but Omar steps on it. He goes to hit Luscious, but the ref takes it. As he puts it out of the ring and gets Haley off the apron, Luscious kicks Omar below the belt. He delivers the running powerslam for the 3.
WINNER: LUSCIOUS by pinfall.

"The Legacy of Brutality"
: Big Zo, Ca$h Flo, & "Hood Ninja" Hy Zaya (w/"The East End Villain" Josh Ashcraft)
are out. Al Snow comes out and says he doesn't know what they are trying to pull, but this isn't going to happen. Josh says to look at the contract and after the ref does the count, they will win back their tag titles. Al says they owe it to the fans to have a real match. Josh says they owe the fans nothing and tells the ref to ring the bell and start the count. The ref counts to 10, and Josh proclaims they are the new tag champions. He says to call the boys and tell them to bring back their property next week!

This ended the TV taping.
