OVW TV 1162: Right On the Money!

This is the OVW Report for Thursday, November 18, 2021.

Tonight:

-Women's action sees Kolbe Max & Judi Hendrix team up to face Shawna Reed & Dani Mo, and Haley J goes 1-on-1 with Shaloncé Royal!

-Kentucky Champion Luscious Lawrence is in action against Jackson Stone!

-Jake Omen tries to beat Jessie Godderz' time from last week to earn a shot at the National Title!

-Ca$h Flo & Dimes team up against the Tag Team Champions Dark Kloudz, and the 2021 Nightmare Cup Winners the Fanny Pack Party are back in action against Dysfunction!

Eric Cornish is the ring announcer.

Mickey Midas vs. "The Neon Ninja" Facade.

They lock up and Midas pulls Facade into the corner by his hair. They shove, and Facade pushes Midas down to the mat. Facade with a kick off the ropes. Midas flips over Facade after a throw to the corner and hits him. Facade catches him off the ropes with an inverted piledriver for 2. Midas fights back, but Facade hits him on the apron and pulls him in. Midas back with a neckbreaker drop. He climbs up top, but slips off. Facade with a boot to the face off the ropes, then hits a split-legged moonsault for the 3.

WINNER: FACADE by pinfall.

"Flawless" Jake Lawless vs. "The Mercenary" Garrisaon Creed.

Creed takes Jake to the mat, then slams him. He drops an elbow. Jake hits him into the corner, but Creed comes back with some hard back elbows. Jake tries to pull him down into the turnbuckle, but Creed blocks it and hits a suplex into a headbutt. Creed dropkicks him hard into the corner and hits a moonsault for 2. Jake hits a chinbuster, then pulls down the top rope as Creed charges. Creed lands on the apron and forearms Jake in the face. He leaps in for a sunset flip, but Jake stays on top of him and grabs the ropes for a 3. 

WINNER: LAWLESS by pinfall.

"The Veteran" Jack Vaughn vs. "The Empire State Goliath" Scott Cardinal.

They lock up all over the ring. They try to take each other down off the ropes. Off the ropes again, Scott pokes him in the eye. He hits a splash in the corner and a neckbreaker drop. He hits another splash and goes for a neckbreaker drop, but Jack throws him off. He hits a hard lariat and gets the 3. 

WINNER: VAUGHN by pinfall.

"Mr. Zero Gravity" AJ Daniels vs. "The Hood Ninja" Hy Zaya.

They exchange armbars and Hy throws AJ to the corner. AJ flips to the apron. Hy blocks a kick and hip tosses him into the ring. A semi-collision, but Hy grabs AJ and plants him with an inverted piledriver for the 3. 

WINNER: HY ZAYA by pinfall.

OVW TV (HOUR 1):

Bryan Kennison & Shannon the Dude are on commentary, Eric Cornish is the ring announcer.

Reverend Ronnie Roberts is out for another edition of the Good Word.

Tonight's special guest is Grayson Douglas Jr. Ronnie tries to ask him some questions, but Ryan Howe keeps playing the guitar over them. He comes out and says there will be no match next week. Ronnie shows him a signed contract and says next week at Thanksgiving Thunder, he will face Howe for the Heavyweight Title! Howe goes to leave, but then turns and tries to hit Ronnie with the guitar.

Ronnie ducks and lays Howe out with the Mighty Hand of God and says next week, he will stop the rock!

"Chemical X": "Killjoy" Kolbe Max & Judi Hendrix vs. "The Daughter of 1,000 Maniacs" Shawna Reed & Dani Mo.

Dani & Kolbe start out. Dani with some quick kicks to knock her down. Judi tags in and Dani takes her into the corner. She kicks her and tags Reed. Reed with some quick offense, including a swinging neckbreaker. Off the ropes, Kolbe kicks her in the back. Judi pulls her down by the pigtails and tags Kolbe. Kolbe works Reed over and knocks Dani off the apron. Reed comes back and kicks the leg of Kolbe. She runs off the ropes, but Freya the Slaya has come out and pulls Reed down and out of the ring. She throws her into the ringpost, then gets in and takes Kolbe & Judi down in the corner. She hits them with a cannonball. Dani gets in and tries to hit Freya, but she goes off the ropes and runs into a big boot. 

NO CONTEST.

"The Mayan Mauler" Drew Hernandez vs. "Shotgun" Tony Gunn.

Drew takes Gunn down with a shoulder block. He goes to run off the ropes, but Gunn trips him. Gunn hits the leaping knee off the top rope for 2. Gunn charges in on Drew in the corner. He goes for a suplex, but can't get Drew up. Drew slams him and covers for 2. He runs into a boot, but catches Gunn with a sidewalk slam. He goes for the big shoulder tackle, but Gunn catches him with a knee to the face. He hits the Killshot, but Josh Ashcraft comes out. He says Gunn has been on his mind and it's time to take care of this once and for all. 3 masked men come out from under the ring with chains and kendo sticks. They surround Gunn, but Hy Zaya runs out from the back to stand by Gunn.

They take the 3 masked men out and Gunn tells Josh he's tired of the BS. Next week, how about him & Hy against Big Zo & Steve Michaels? After that, they're done! 

WINNER: GUNN by DQ.

Shaloncé Royal vs. "Hollyhood" Haley J (w/Tony Bizo).

Royal with the early control. She hits Haley with a cartwheel butt bump in the corner and dropkicks her in the face. She chokes Haley in the ropes. Haley back with a throat thrust, but runs into a big kick from Royal. She covers for 2. Royal with a hard forearm to the face. She locks Haley in a sleeper. She throws her to the corner and runs into a back elbow. Haley hits her into the turnbuckle and connects with a kick and covers for the 3.

WINNER: HALEY by pinfall.

"Dysfunction": "The Iron Bear" Tom Coffey & Brandon Espinosa vs. "The Fanny Pack Party": Dustin Jackson & "The Fanny Pack Kid" Kal Herro.

Dustin & Kal with a quick start. Dysfunction takes control and double teams Dustin in the corner. He gets the tag to Kal. Kal fires away on Espy and tags Dustin. They deliver a double hip toss, then a double back body drop to Espy. Tom runs in and they duck a clothesline and take him down with a double shoulder tackle. Some good back and forth, then Dustin catches Espy with a perfect dropkick to the face. Dysfunction regains control. Espy clotheslines Dustin in the corner and Tom slams him for 2. Dustin keeps trying to rally, but falls short as Dysfunction keeps him cornered and double team him. He finally gets free after a splash from Tom and a kick to the back, but Espy pulls Kal off the apron. Dustin grabs Espy and hits him with a falcon arrow for 2. Tom locks in the Iron Bearhug, but Dustin gets free after an enziguri. Kal comes in firing away. Dark Kloudz are out on the ramp, briefly distracting Kal. Espy tries a roll-up for 2. Kal kicks out and tags Dustin. Kal hits Espy with a high knee, then Dustin comes in and nails the running boot for the 3.

WINNERS: FANNY PACK PARTY by pinfall.

OVW TV (HOUR 2):

Bryan Kennison & Shannon the Dude are on commentary, Eric Cornish is the ring announcer.

NON-TITLE MATCH: "The Suplex Shogun" Jackson Stone vs. Kentucky Champion "Mr. Juicy" Luscious Lawrence.

They lock up into the corner. Luscious goes for a running butt bump. Stone catches him, but Luscious butt bumps out. He hits some punches in the corner. He delivers an atomic drop and some butt bumps in the corner. He gives Stone the Rump Thumper, but Stone grabs him by the buttcheeks. He hits a belly to belly suplex, followed by a backdrop. Off the ropes, Luscious catches him with a powerslam. He hits a double axehandle off the top rope. Stone rolls out and Luscious hits one on the outside. He goes up again after rolling Stone in, but gets caught in a t-bone suplex for 2. Stone locks him up from behind and Luscious butts his way out. He hits the One Night Stand for the 3. 

WINNER: LUSCIOUS by pinfall.

We see a dual interview between Star Rider & Gustavo. They both blame each other for the Nightmare Cup loss and both say why they are better than the other and will walk out next week as Rush Champion.

Dani Mo, Shawna Reed, Judi Hendrix, & Kolbe Max come to the ring. Dani says they are sick and tired of Freya the Slaya coming out while they work their hardest and attack them while they are at their lowest. She calls Freya out. Freya comes to the ring, but doesn't get in. She walks back to the back. As the women go to leave, Freya comes back out and shoves Dani into the other 3 ladies and walks off.

Jessie Godderz is out with trunks, a snorkel, and flippers. He says he is going to the beach and there is no way that Jake Omen can beat his time from last week...

"Flawless" Jake Lawless vs. "The End of the World" Jake Omen.

Omen comes out, walks to the concession stand, and gets a hot dog, soda, and popcorn. He says he has time and walks to the back. Lawless goes looking for him and Omen comes back in the side door. He rolls in at 9 and Lawless gets counted out. The official time is 46 seconds!

WINNER: OMEN by countout.

Ca$h Flo & "Big Money" Dimes (w/"The East End Villain" Josh Ashcraft) vs. OVW Tag Team Champions "Dark Kloudz": "Elusive" Eric Darkstorm & "Hustler" Deget Bundlez.

Ca$h takes the fight to Eric, hitting a running cross body on him in the corner. He tags in Dimes and Dark Kloudz takes control. They slam him, stomp him, and dominate against him. Eric with a kneedrop, then a chop in the corner. Dimes slides off Deget's shoulders after he tags in and tags Ca$h. Deget goes for a hip toss. Ca$h blocks it, but gets hit into the ropes where Dimes tags back in. He tries to chokeslam Eric, but Eric chokes him into the corner and tags Deget. Deget press slams him out of the ring onto Ca$h. Back inside, Dark Kloudz hang Ca$h up in the ropes, then Eric chops him in the corner. Deget with a side slam and Eric drops an elbow. They choke and double team him in the corner while the ref tries to keep Dimes in the corner. Eric chops Ca$h, then Deget tags in and chops. Eric tags in and chops again, but Ca$h gets angry and chops Eric & Deget both several times. They come back to take Ca$h down and Deget hits a strutting elbow drop. They double suplex him and Eric throws Dimes out to the floor as he tries to come in. Eric locks in a sleeper. Deget tags in and takes over. He charges Ca$h, but Ca$h hits the Sitdown. Dimes tags in, as does Eric. All 4 men end up in the ring and Ca$h goes to chokeslam Eric. Dimes wants to do it and Ca$h gets Dimes up on his shoulders. Deget takes the top turnbuckle off and as Dimes goes for the assisted chokeslam, Deget low blows Ca$h. The Fanny Pack Party comes out and distracts Dark Kloudz. Dimes rolls Eric up for the 3! 

WINNERS: DIMES & CA$H by pinfall.

This ended the TV taping.
