This is the OVW Report for Thursday, April 21, 2022.
TONIGHT:
-In a rematch from last week, OVW Heavyweight Champion Ryan Howe defends the title against Matt Vine!
-OVW Kentucky Champion Omar Amir collides with Big Zo!
-Jessie Godderz & Tony Gunn try to regroup as a team when they meet the duo of Garrisaon Creed & Reverend Ronnie Roberts!
-1/2 of the OVW Tag Team Champions Dark Kloudz, Eric Darkstorm, meets 1/2 of Bankroll, Dimes!
-Women's action sees Hayley Shadows go to battle with Shawna Reed, and former Women's Champion Freya the Slaya go 1-on-1 with Michelle Green!
-Plus, Tony Bizo is in action against Jared Kripke, and much more!

PRE-SHOW:
AJ McKay is the ring announcer.
Side headlock by ZDP. Jake stomps on his foot and locks up the arm. He pulls ZDP down to the mat by his hair. ZDP comes back with a running neckbreaker off the ropes. He hits Jake into the top turnbuckle, then flies off the top rope with a cross body that misses. Jake stomps him and hits his face off the top turnbuckle. He drops a knee, then chokes him in the ropes. ZDP back with some forearm shots and a swinging neckbreaker. He tries to lock in a full Nelson, but Jake slips out and sweeps the legs. Jake with a running clothesline to a seated ZDP for 2. He knees ZDP in the gut, but misses an elbow drop. ZDP avoids a charge and tries to lock in the full Nelson again. Jake elbows out and connects with Crossroads for the 3.

Kruel is upset that Judi doesn't want to eat her pop tart now, so she decks her with a forearm and clotheslines her. She takes her down for 2. Judi back with an uppercut and takes Kruel to the mat. She locks in a sleeper. Kruel gets out with a chinbuster and then hits some knees to the face. Kruel hits Judi down in the corner, then runs in with a knee to the face. She runs in again with a double knee. She hits another knee to the face in the middle of the ring for 2. Judi ducks a clothesline and hits some back elbows and a super kick. She monkey flips Kruel out of the corner. Kruel with some shots to the ribcage, then some kicks to the leg. Judi starts to kick back. They exchange kicks and forearms, then Kruel goes for a suplex. Judi blocks and hits a combo cutter/snapmare for the 3.
WINNER: HENDRIX by pinfall.
They shove each other, then lock up. They run off the ropes and try to plow each other down, but neither man goes down. They exchange blows, then both try to clothesline each other. Mack knocks Steve to the mat with a hard right, but Steve hits Mack from behind after Josh distracts him on the apron. Steve hits a backdrop, then clubs him in the corner. He chokes him in the ropes. Steve tries to throw Mack across the ring, but Mack holds the ropes. Steve hits him, then throws him hard into the corner. Steve chops him. Mack smacks back, but Steve clubs him hard across the back. He stomps his back, then locks in a cobra clutch. Mack elbows out, then starts to fire up. Steve chokes him again in the ropes. Mack again fires up, but Steve grabs him by the throat and delivers a chokeslam for the 3.
WINNER: MICHAELS by pinfall.
OVW TV (HOUR 1):
Bryan Kennison, Dancin' Stevie J, & Shannon the Dude are on commentary, Eric Cornish is the ring announcer.
Bizo kicks Jared and clubs him. He slams Jared. Off the ropes, Jared kicks him, but Bizo clotheslines him down. He hits an uppercut in the corner, then a clothesline. He stomps him, then distracts the ref allowing Haley to hit Jared with her shoe. He hits a seated clothesline, but Jared starts to fire up. He hits Bizo with a backstabber. He then hits a codebreaker and the 619. He goes up top, but Haley knocks him down while the ref is distracted by Bizo. Bizo grabs him off the top turnbuckle and delivers the Bizo Bomb for the 3.
WINNER: BIZO by pinfall.
In the back, Josh Ashcraft tells Big Zo that Omar Amir made their lives miserable last summer, but tonight Zo can use him as a stepping stone to get the L.O.B. back on top.
Some hair pulling early and lots of tags. Chases around the ring ending in clotheslines. The Outrunners outsmart their opponents in the end, taking Evans down with a clothesline on the outside, then hitting a combo slam/neckbreaker finisher for the 3!
WINNERS: OUTRUNNERS by pinfall.
We see a video from Dysfunction saying that Reverend Ronnie Roberts & Garrisaon Creed will be eliminated on the 120th day of 2022!
Matt attacks Hy from behind, then knees him in the corner. Hy reverses a throw and runs in with a double knee, then monkey flips Matt out of the corner. He hits him and kicks him in the head, then hits a hip toss slam. Hy goes up top, but Matt hits him and tries for a superplex. Hy hits him down, then connects with Ninja Vanish for the 3.
WINNER: HY ZAYA by pinfall.
In the back, Omar Amir says he has a history with Big Zo, but tonight the waves are going to wash him away!
In the back, Leila Grey says she slayed the former champion and takes so much pride in being the NEW Women's Champion. This is a new era and she will show everyone why she is the Unstoppable Danger.
Hayley attacks Reed and delivers a snap suplex. She chokes her and then chokes her more in the ropes. She stomps her, then hits a German Suplex. She attacks the leg in the corner, then spears her for 2. Hayley locks in a sleeper, but Reed elbows out and hits a running cutter for the 3.
WINNER: REED by pinfall.
They push each other, then Dimes goes for a chokeslam. Eric pulls him to the corner and shoulders him. He charges, but eats a boot. Dimes with some running clotheslines, but gets pushed out of the ring. Deget hits Dimes on the outside and rolls him in. Eric stomps him. Dimes comes back with some shoulder tackles, but again gets hit to the outside where Deget gets some shots in. Back inside, Dimes fires up with some chops and hits in the corner, but Eric catches him with a big backdrop. Again, he gets thrown to the outside, but this time Ca$h chops Deget down. Eric tries to suplex Dimes back inside, but he reverses it into a Change Maker and gets the 3!
WINNER: DIMES by pinfall.
Test of strength and Zo headbutts Omar in the chest. Omar with chops, but Zo knees him in the gut. He plows Omar down, but misses a charge in the corner. Omar runs in with a splash. T-bone suplex, then some hits and chops to Zo. Omar misses a charge in the corner and runs into a hard clothesline. Zo with a legdrop, then a sleeper. Omar with a backdrop. He splashes Zo in the corner, but goes for another and is caught. Zo with a fall away slam for 2. Zo goes up for the Zo Bomb, but Omar gets under him and powerbombs him down. Omar hits Island Time and gets the 3.
WINNER: OMAR by pinfall.
Jake rolls Omar over and covers him for the 3!

In the back, Star Rider says he is going to be a 3x Rush Champion. Hy Zaya's sword shows up and Star says he is trying to take him out.
In the back, Michelle Green says Freya the Slaya is not a real woman. She came to follow her dream and Freya tried to take that away from her. She wants her in a fight tonight and you should always bet on Green.
Green goes on the attack and wraps Freya's arm up. Freya sits her on the top rope and Green kicks her away. She goes for a sunset flip, but Freya hits her hands off and goes to sit on her, but Green moves. Green locks up the arm again in the corner. Freya powerbombs her off, then chokeslams her. She hits the big legdrop and gets the 3.
WINNER: FREYA by pinfall.
After the match, Freya says Leila Grey made the biggest mistake of her entire life. She wants her rematch at Derby City Destruction and tells Leila she will knock her butt out.
In the back, we see Jessie Godderz & Tony Gunn talking. Jessie says he has been there and is trying to take Tony with him to get gold.
