OVW TV #758: "The March is on to the Saturday Night Special"

This is the OVW Report for Wednesday, February 26, 2014. This episode can be seen online starting tomorrow at www.ovwrestling.com/tv. In this episode, Dylan Bostic & the Mexicutioner are in action, Melvin Maximus defends the OVW TV Title against Eddie Diamond, Jamin Olivencia faces Adam Revolver, plus more!

Pre-Show Dark Matches:

"Wrestling's Rockstar" Ryan Howe vs. "The Double R Superstar" Randy Royal.

A good back and forth match to get the night started, and it ended with a tapout after Howe hooked on the armbreaker.

WINNER: HOWE by submission.

Shiloh Jonze (w/Tony Gunn, Nick Dumeyer, Raul LaMotta, & Clint Poe) vs. Aaron Sky.

Shiloh attacks Aaron, who was distracted by the Marauders at ringside. Shiloh controls early, and the Marauders get in some cheap shots when Shiloh distracts the ref. Shiloh misses a kneedrop off the top rope. Aaron starts to come back, hits a couple dropkicks, and a springboard cross body, but Raul has the ref distracted. Aaron gets up and hits Dumeyer, who had got up on the apron, but turns around into an enziguri to the back of the head from Shiloh, and Shiloh gets the 3.

WINNER: SHILOH by pinfall.

"Rudo" Raul LaMotta (w/Tony Gunn, Nick Dumeyer, Shiloh Jonze, & Clint Poe) vs. "Primetime" Robbie Walker.

Robbie starts off with some quick offense, but once again loses the advantage when the Marauders interfere. Raul hits the curb stomp to pick up the 1-2-3.

WINNER: RAUL by pinfall.

That concludes tonight's pre-show dark matches. I always recommend watching the episode first on TV or online before reading the rest of the report. Gilbert Corsey, Dean Hill, & Michael Titus are all on commentary with Shannon the Dude as the ring announcer.

The Marauders come out and talk about their match against Flash & Trash in E-Town, and mention how they even took out senior official Joe Wheeler. They then turn their attention to Shannon the Dude, and begin bullying him by pushing him around in the ring. The Marauders hold him on the mat and Shiloh lines up to hit him with the kendo stick, when Flash & Trash run out for the save.

They call out Joe Wheeler, who is sporting a nasty black eye. Trash then tells the Marauders that he had a discussion with OVW Owner Danny Davis, who saw the tape and heard about the events that took place in E-Town. He tells Clint Poe that he has been suspended, then tells Tony Gunn that he has been both fined and suspended. That evens the odds up a bit as there will be Shiloh Jonze, Raul LaMotta, & Nick Dumeyer vs. Flash & Trash in an anything goes match at the Saturday Night Special!

"The Justin Bieber of Professional Wrestling" Dylan Bostic & "The Mexicutioner" Robo De Luna vs. Deonta Davis & Leon Shelly.

Bostic & Mexicutioner attack Leon & Deonta as they enter the ring. They beat on Deonta for a while, then do the same to Leon, finishing him off with their double team finisher of the Mexicutioner spinebuster into Bostic's backstabber for the 3.

WINNERS: BOSTIC & MEXICUTIONER by pinfall.

After the match, Gilbert interviews Bostic & Mexicutioner. Gilbert says they are still unsure on whether Michael Hayes will make it to SNS and Bostic laughs, making fun of Hayes. The Mexicutioner rambles something in Spanish, and Mohamad Ali Vaez comes out to meet them at ringside.

Ali says that he believes in Michael Hayes, the fans believe in Michael Hayes, and whether Michael makes it or not, don't think for a minute that they are giving up the titles that easy.

Ray Lyn vs. "The Queen of Rings" Lei'd Tapa.

Ray Lyn twerks around the ring as Tapa gets angrier, the more she chases after her. Tapa finally catches her with a forearm with Ray Lyn on the second turnbuckle. Tapa locks in the Tongan Death Grip and then hits the TKO for the 3.

WINNER: TAPA by pinfall.

After the match, Gilbert interviews Tapa. He asks about her health and Tapa says he first has to bow down. She says she is fine, and she will defend her OVW Women's Title at the Saturday Night Special against Jessie Belle. She says if the masked man tries to take her out again, she will hurt him, because this is her ring, her island, and he will bow down!

OVW TELEVISION TITLE: Eddie F. Diamond vs. "Mister Marvelous" Melvin Maximus (c).

EFD starts off with some quick offense, but runs into the massive arms of Melvin off the ropes, and is caught in the bearhug. EFD has no choice but to tap.

WINNER and STILL OVW TV CHAMPION: MELVIN by submission.

After the match, the Bodyguy comes out and says that their match at Saturday Night Special just needs to be about the two of them and the OVW TV Title. Melvin says he will beat the Bodyguy at SNS, and he will wear a dress.

"The Pastor of Disaster" Rev. Stu Miles comes to the ring once again to say the cleansing is coming. He has a young guy with him that he found last week and helped see the light. He says he will continue to do this one OVW Superstar at a time.

Adam Revolver vs. Jamin Olivencia.

Jamin comes out firing away. He hits his kamikaze splash in the corner, jumping clothesline, and sets up for the Standing O. Timmy Danger & Marcus Anthony come to ringside, distracting Jamin. Adam takes advantage and works over Jamin for a while as Timmy smiles at ringside. Jamin starts to comeback, hits his signature moves again and finishes Adam off with the Standing O.

WINNER: JAMIN by pinfall.

After the match, Jamin has a staredown with Marcus & Timmy.

This ended the TV taping.

Post-Show Dark Matches:

Marcus Anthony (w/Timmy Danger) vs. Fabiano Rolento.

Fabiano wants to dance, but Timmy throws him into Marcus and Marcus pretty much dominates the entire match, hitting the Gamma Punch and then making Fabiano pass out to the Crimson Omen.

WINNER: MARCUS by submission.

At the Saturday Night Special, Marcus Anthony defends the OVW Heavyweight Title against Jamin Olivencia, Melvin Maximus defends the TV Title against the Bodyguy who will have to wear a dress if he loses, Mohamad Ali Vaez & Michael Hayes are to defend the OVW Southern Tag Team Titles against Dylan Bostic & the Mexicutioner if Hayes is healthy enough to compete, Lei'd Tapa defends the OVW Women's Title against Jessie Belle, and the Marauders face Flash & Trash in an anything goes match! It all happens this Saturday at the Davis Arena!
