Without further ado:
Here we go...
Pre-Show Dark Matches:
That
concludes tonight's pre-show dark matches. I always recommend watching
the episode first on TV or online before reading the rest of the report.
Again, you can check it out on OVW's official website late Thursday
afternoon/evening at www.ovwrestling.com/tv.
Backstage, Doug Williams is in referee Jordan Barker's face when Jamin Olivencia walks in. Jamin talks about Doug abusing Chris Sharpe, and challenges him.
The Wild Cards: "Rudo" Raul LaMotta & Shiloh Jonze vs. The Gutcheckers: Alex Silva & Sam Shaw. The Wild Cards attack from behind, but the Gutcheckers fight back and ram Raul & Shiloh's heads together. The Wild Cards are able to regain the advantage on Silva. They work him over and try to keep him grounded, but he fights back, ramming Shiloh back into his corner where Shaw tags himself in. Silva holds Shiloh in a stunner position as Shaw goes up top and dropkicks Shiloh in the back. He hits Raul, and Raul goes flying out of the ring as Silva pulls down the top rope. He tags in Silva, who clotheslines Shiloh in the corner. He tags in Shaw who clotheslines Shiloh from the outside. Silva hits the Silva Surfer and rolls out as Shaw goes up top and hits Breaking Point for the pin. WINNERS and #1 CONTENDERS: GUTCHECKERS by pinfall.
MY TAKE: Shaw & Silva impress again as they head into battle once more with Crimson & Jason Wayne for the OVW Southern Tag Team Titles.
In the ring, there are red, white, and blue balloons and a stand with the American Flag covering something up. The Coalition comes out, with Joe Coleman dressed as Uncle Sam, Jason Wayne as Abraham Lincoln, and Crimson as George Washington. They say they are giving a tribute to America's forefathers right before President's Day. They say they should be in charge and Wayne says his favorite president was Honest Abe. He should be called Honest Wayne, and is so good, he should be voted into office. They have already put in a call to have Mt. Rushmore changed into Mt. Rush-War, and it should be completed by the Summer 2013.
Doug Williams comes out and says Halloween is a while away (talking about the Coalition's outfits), and as champion, he is already the Director of Operations as far as he's concerned. Cliff Compton comes out and says he is the Multimedia Television Champion, and he should be in charge. Josette Bynum & Flash are out, and Josette says she has both the experience and the wardrobe, and already has her lawyers working on her becoming the Director of Operations. She gets a phone call and while she is talking, everyone starts arguing. Sam Shaw & Alex Silva come out and Silva says they are looking to become tag team champions again, and then says he knows he's Canadian, but asks the Coalition if they are supposed to be clowns. Shaw takes the mic and says that they are not what America's forefathers looked like, but more like if the forefathers took a dump in the middle of the ring. Jamin Olivencia comes out and steps up to Doug, saying if he wants to fight, he is ready to go right now. Trailer Park Trash then comes out and goes right after Flash saying he wants a rematch. Flash says no, and everyone starts arguing and shoving.
Danny Davis comes out and tells everyone to get out of the ring. He says everyone wants to run his company, and everyone thinks they are qualified, but the Board of Directors and himself think all of them are dumb. He said after spending the last 3 and a half days with the Board, he found out that he's not even qualified.
The Board did decide on a new Director of Operations, however...MICHAEL HAYES! Michael comes out and says that later tonight, Jamin will get his match with Doug Williams, non-title. He then says the match is already made between the Gutcheckers and the Wild Cards, but if the Gutcheckers win, they will be #1 contenders for the OVW Southern Tag Team Titles. That match starts right now!
Backstage, Paredyse comes up behind Brittany and calls her a cow. Brittany goes off on him, Espy, and Chris. She then challenges Chris to meet her in the ring...
Backstage, Tony Gunn is talking to Randy Royal and he feels like he has lost focus. He mentions something about the Television Title and $1000, but it was hard to hear. Royal says that gives him an idea. Taeler Hendrix walks in and asks Tony if he's seen Dylan, but he says he hasn't seen him all day and doesn't have time for this. We then see Josette calling a locker room meeting with the Coalition & Flash and says they all want to keep Michael Hayes term as Director of Operations short. They gather in a huddle to discuss a plan.
We get a new Mixtape from Timmy Danger & Eddie Diamond. Eddie is in the floor and depressed about Epiphany. Dylan Bostic is not the Suckah of the Week, it is Doug Williams for what he did to Chris Sharpe. Diamond doesn't even care. He is heartbroken and feeling sorry for himself.
Doug Williams vs. Jamin Olivencia. Doug attacks, but Jamin comes back with the jumping clothesline. He hits a backdrop and Doug rolls out and starts walking to the back. Jamin goes out and grabs him and hits Doug on the apron. He rolls him in and hits an armbuster. He stomps him and throws him into two different corners hard. He goes for the pin, but only gets 2. He goes to throw Doug, but Doug reverses and Jamin goes into the corner. Jamin puts his foot up as Doug charges, but Doug catches it, throws his leg over the second rope and kicks him in the thigh. He hits a clothesline and pins for 2. He chokes Jamin on the ropes and delivers some chops in the corner. He chokes Jamin with his boot, and snapmares him down. He locks Jamin in a headscissors, using the ropes for extra momentum. He then locks in a headlock. Jamin fights out and hits a dropkick. He throws Doug in the corner and hits the kamikaze splash. Jamin goes up top, but Crimson & Wayne come out distracting him. Shaw & Silva come out and fight Crimson & Wayne away. The distraction allowed Doug to go up top and suplex Jamin off the top rope. 2 count. Flash runs out with a chair, but Trailer Park Trash runs out, kicks Flash and hits him across the back with the chair. Flash rolls out, but Trash runs and dives over the top rope onto Flash. Back inside, Doug goes for Chaos Theory, but Jamin holds on to the ropes. Jamin turns around and hits the Standing O DDT for the pin. WINNER: OLIVENCIA by pinfall.
After
the match, Trash & Flash are still battling outside as the locker room comes out to separae them. Michael Hayes comes out and says he is making the match at the March SNS. It will be Flash vs. Trash in Hardcore 3! MY TAKE: It appears Jamin is lining himself up for a future title shot, while Trash finally gets his retirement match against Flash!
This ended the TV taping.
Post-Show Dark Matches:
The Coalition: "The Red Baron of Ruthless Reconnaissance" Crimson, "The He-Man of Homeland Security" Jason Wayne, "The Kamikaze of Combat Communications, & Uncle Lats" Joe Coleman, & Ghillie (w/"Sergeant Major" Jack Black & "Corporal" Raul LaMotta) b. "The Welsh Colossus" Rob Terry, James "Moose" Thomas, "The Double R Superstar" Randy Royal, & "Smooth" Johnny Spade. Moose & Crimson are in the ring to start, but Spade tags himself in. Crimson puts Spade in a headlock. Spade throws him off into the ropes, but Crimson comes back with a shoulder block. Spade tags in Big Rob as Crimson poses. Crimson turns around and after seeing Rob, tags in Coleman. Coleman fires some punches, but Rob doesn't budge and Rob slams him into the corner. Coleman tags in Wayne, whose Abe Lincoln beard looked more like Joe Coleman's beard. Terry puts him in a headlock. Wayne throws him into the ropes, but Rob comes back with a shoulder takedown. Wayne kicks him in the knee and tags Crimson. Crimson takes Rob down and tags in Ghillie. Ghillie gets in a couple shots before tagging Wayne back in. Terry takes Wayne down and tags Royal as Wayne tags Coleman. Royal comes in with some chops, but Coleman pulls Royal head first into the second turnbuckle. Crimson tags in and a distraction allows the Coalition to hit Royal with the flag. Wayne comes in and does his choking pushups, and then Coleman comes in and does some choking pushups across the rope. Ghillie comes in and gets a couple shots in before tagging Wayne. Wayne chokes Royal across the ropes. Another distraction allows the Coalition to pull Royal into the ringpost. Crimson comes in without a tag and Royal fights back and takes Crimson down. Crimson tags Coleman as Royal tags Moose. Moose comes in taking everyone down. He splashes Coleman in the corner and hits a side slam. A pin attempt is broken up by Wayne. Everyone is fighting now. Spade tags himself in again as Moose goes to Moose Kick Coleman. Coleman moves, and Moose hits Spade. Coleman pushes Moose out of the ring and rolls up Spade for the 3.
WINNERS: COALITION by pinfall. MY TAKE: The Coalition picks up a win over an all-star team, but due in large part to the trouble between Moose & Spade.
J. Best comes out and says he is been sitting in the back for weeks waiting for a match, and he decided to come out and call out the Assassin. The lights go out, and when they come on, Assassin is standing behind Best. Best turns around and tries to lay a bunch of forearms into the chest of Assassin. It doesn't faze him, and Assassin lays him out with the massive clothesline.
"The Ken of OVW, Justin Bieber of Professional Wrestling, & King of Pink" Dylan Freak'n Bostic b. Elvis Pridemoore. Elvis comes out firing away. Dylan comes back with a dropkick and a "Who Sucks Now?". Elvis comes back and throws Dylan into the corner 3 times. He hits a fist to the head, but only gets a 2 count. Dylan throws his wrist tape off and as the ref tosses it out of the ring, Dylan kicks Elvis below the belt. He then hits a big backbreaker for 3. MY TAKE: Regardless of how he did it, Bostic gets back on the winning track.
