That concludes tonight's pre-show dark matches. I always recommend watching the episode first on TV or online before reading the rest of the report. Again, you can check it out on OVW's official website late Thursday afternoon/evening at www.ovwrestling.com/tv and on WBNA ion-21 in the Louisville area Saturdays at 12 noon with replays Wednesdays at 9PM after WWE Main Event.

Jamin Olivencia comes to the ring and calls out Rob Terry. Rob comes to the ring and says he made a mistake. Jamin asked which mistake. "The mistake of letting me lose to Jay Bradley? The mistake of letting Jay become the next #1 contender? Or the mistake of you hitting me with a chair?" Rob asked Jamin if he seriously thinks he'd need a chair to take him out. Jay Bradley comes out laughing. He says it doesn't matter who wins at Saturday Night Special, whether it's the "big vanilla gorilla" (Terry) or the "pint-size Puerto Rican" (Jamin), someone is getting boomsticked soon after SNS. Rob says we'll see what happens after he beats Jamin on Saturday. Jamin gets upset and hits Rob. Rob grabs Jamin and delivers a huge powerslam to leave him laying as Jay laughs and walks to the back.

In the back, Taeler Hendrix talks to Nikki St. John about having Heidi Lovelace wrapped around her finger and having her do all the dirty work so that she can become a 4-time OVW Women's Champion. They walk away and Heidi is seen from outside their locker room door where she has been listening in.

"The VIP Club" J. Best, Roberto De Luna, & Aaron Sky vs. Rudy Switchblade & "The Really Really New Rockers" Rockstar Spud & Ryan Howe.
Rudy & the Rockers very quickly eliminate their opponents one-by-one. They take out Best, take out Roberto, and finish Aaron off with Howe's Chart Topper, followed by a frog splash from Rudy.
WINNERS: RUDY & ROCKERS by pinfall.
After the match, Rudy & the Rockers say they will meet the Coalition's Joe Coleman & Delta Team Bravo at Saturday Night Special in a tornado 6-man tag, and it will be war!

HANDICAP MATCH: "Lambda Lambda Lambda" Albert Einstein Baxter II & Stephon J. Baxter III vs. "Strongest Gamer Alive" Marcus Anthony.
Marcus slams Stephon off his shoulders. Albert tags in and Marcus shoves him in the corner. Marcus charges and hits the turnbuckle after Albert drops to the mat in fear. Stephon tags in and they kick at Marcus' legs and dropkick them out from underneath him. He goes down to his knees as they run off the ropes again. Marcus leaps to his feet and catches them with a double clothesline. He bench press slams Albert and then delivers the Gamma Punch to Stephon for the 3.
WINNER: MARCUS by pinfall.

Lei'd Tapa vs. Holly Blossom (w/Hannah).
Holly kicks Tapa, but is caught and slammed. Tapa throws Holly off the ropes and Holly hurricanranas Tapa into the turnbuckle. She is caught by a clothesline from Tapa and Tapa clamps on the Tongan Death Grip. Meanwhile, Epiphany comes to ringside and pulls down the hood on one of the cameramen to reveal Eddie Diamond. Epiphany starts yelling at him and grabs a mic. She challenges Tapa to a match at Saturday Night Special. Tapa accepts. Eddie gets in between them and they shove him down and shove each other. Eddie gets back up as they both wind up to take a swing at each other and both hit Eddie.
NO CONTEST.

In the back, Heidi is talking to Trina and crying about what happened earlier. Trina tells her that they should partner up at Saturday Night Special and wipe the smirks off the faces of Taeler & Nikki. Crimson grabs the camera and him & Jason Wayne say there will be blood as they walk out of the building.

OVW TELEVISION TITLE: "The King of Pink, The Ken of OVW, & The Justin Bieber of Professional Wrestling" Dylan Bostic vs. "The Double R Superstar" Randy Royal (c).
Royal tells referee Chris Sharpe to check Bostic. Sharpe finds brass knucks on him. Bostic says to check Royal too. Sharpe also finds brass knucks on Royal. Randy grabs Dylan by the hair, and then Dylan tries to give Royal a wedgie. Randy backs him up in the corner and elbows him in the head. They exchange chops, and Dylan pokes Royal in the eyes. He fires away on Royal and charges at him. Royal flips him over the top rope, but Dylan lands on the apron. Randy kicks the rope as Dylan tries to re-enter. Royal takes off the padding on the top turnbuckle. As Sharpe puts it back on, Dylan low blows Royal and then starts taking off the padding in the other corner. As Sharpe goes to fix that turnbuckle, Royal grabs a chain and knocks Dylan out. As he goes to pin, Tony Gunn shows up on the monitors and tells Randy that put his career on hold to help him out training and getting him back in the ring. He says he was stabbed in the back and it's now his mission to make Royal miserable as long as he has that TV title. Bostic has recovered during all of this and rolls Royal up for 3!
WINNER and NEW OVW TELEVISION CHAMPION: BOSTIC by pinfall.

A new promotional video tells us that the Bodyguy is coming soon.

"Mr. Pec-Tacular" comes to the ring and says this week he handpicked his opponent and cannot lose.
"Mr. Pec-Tacular" Jessie Godderz vs. "Marksman" Nick Dumeyer.
Jessie hits Dumeyer, throws him in the corner, and then hits his legdrop. He hits a beautiful dropkick and stomps Dumeyer. Jessie takes a moment to pose as Dumeyer recovers, pushes Jessie into the corner and rolls him up for 3!
WINNER: DUMEYER by pinfall.
After the match, Dean Hill goes over Jessie's accolades, but asks him about his losing streak, saying he just got beat by Nick Dumeyer. Jessie says he is not a loser. He's on TV, and all the people watch TV. Dean asks him what he is going to do if he loses again. He says he will not, but asks Dean his opinion. Dean says if he lost that much, he might think about giving up his contract. Jessie says since all the fans want to be involved, he will let the fans decide. If he loses again, they get to pick the stipulation. They can get on social media, go to Dean Hill's Facebook, OVW's Facebook, and decide what the stipulation should be if he loses again, but he's NOT a loser.
After all of this, the Assassin's music hits and he takes out Nick Dumeyer.

Gilbert Corsey is in the ring and his guests are the NEW OVW Southern Tag Team Champions, Mohamad Ali Vaez & Michael Hayes. He says the question on everyone's minds is if the tag titles will be defended at Saturday Night Special in a rematch against the Coalition. Ali starts talking about how the Coalition is a bunch of thugs when the monitors show the Coalition driving down the road. They stop in front of Michael Hayes' house! They go inside and search the place and find what they were looking for...Hayes' Purple Heart. They say he will get it back when their property is returned to them. Ali talks about his West Point experience and says this is no longer about the titles, this is war! Hayes takes the mic and says he is not going to yell and scream. He has had a hatred building up in his soul for over 7 years with no way to get it out. They just took something that was given to him for his service to this great country. It doesn't matter if they keep the titles or not, they are coming for them at the Saturday Night Special!

This ended the TV taping.

Paredyse falls to the outside and Adam dives out on him. He kicks and punches Adam and locks in a rear naked chokehold. Adam breaks out and Paredyse goes for the Bronco Buster in the corner, but Adam moves, and Paredyse lands in a bad spot. Adam fires away, clotheslines Paredyse in the corner, and hits a bulldog for 2. Adam goes for the 10-punch count in the corner, but Paredyse delivers an atomic drop. Adam comes back with a perfect plex for 2. They both run at each other and double clothesline each other. Paredyse crawls over to his makeup bag and grabs a foreign object. Adam catches him and takes it away. The ref tells Adam to put it down. Meanwhile, Paredyse grabs a chain from his kneepad and clocks Adam in the back of the head with it to get the 3.

  1. OK, I think the Coalition has gone a little too far. Their ring antics are bad enough, but when you break into a man's home and steal from him, that crosses the line. I know as a long time wrestling fan, some heat is needed, but too much will send the fans away, not bring them in.

  2. Crimson was let go from TNA, does this mean the same for OVW? Also do you think Bostic will hold onto the TV Title?

    1. I'd think Dylan will hold it for a while at least.

As far as Crimson? He's still appeared for OVW twice since the release. Will he stay? After the SNS results posted tonight, hard to say. It looks like Flash is joining the Coalition, and Crimson was finished off with a move that put Johnny Spade & Moose on the shelf, maybe for good. Time will tell. Stay tuned.
