Without further ado:
Here we go...
Pre-Show Dark Matches:
"Rudo" Raul LaMotta vs. "Primetime" Robbie Walker.
Raul & Robbie exchange armbars. Raul gains advantage by clawing, choking, and pulling the hair of Robbie. The ref tells Raul to get Robbie out of the ropes, so Raul sits him on the top turnbuckle and chops him. Raul argues with the ref, allowing Robbie to recover and hit Raul with a flying body press for the 3.
WINNER: WALKER by pinfall.
J. Best vs. "Ram Jam" Johnathan Ramser.
Best attacks Ram Jam from behind. He slams him and stomps him. Ram Jam hits Best, but Best clubs him in the back and stomps him some more. He hits Ram Jam in the corner and throws him hard into the opposite corner. Best showboats a bit too much, and Ram Jam rolls him up for a quick 3.
WINNER: RAM JAM by pinfall.
The Bodyguy vs. Elvis Pridemoore.
Elvis locks up with Bodyguy into the corner and clean breaks. A second time, Bodyguy hits Elvis in the throat. He takes advantage and hits Elvis before Elvis rolls Bodyguy up out of the corner for the 3.
WINNER: ELVIS by pinfall.
That concludes tonight's pre-show dark matches. I always recommend watching
the episode first on TV or online before reading the rest of the report.
Again, you can check it out on OVW's official website late Thursday
afternoon/evening at www.ovwrestling.com/tv
and on WBNA ion-21 in the Louisville area Saturdays at 9AM and 10PM (check local listings).
Gilbert Corsey, Dean Hill, & Michael Titus are all on commentary with Shannon the Dude as the ring announcer.
Fabiano Rolento vs. "Wrestling's Rockstar" Ryan Howe.
A good back and forth match, with Howe focusing on Fabiano's arm. He finally catches Fabiano in the Whammy Bar for the tapout.
WINNER: HOWE by submission.
Adam Revolver comes out and says he knows they are both cleared to compete, but wants to be in their corner, because it isn't 2-on-2 with the Marauders, it will be 2 against 5. Hayes doesn't trust him, and Ali thanks him, but says now is not the right time.
The Bodyguy comes to the ring with dress in hand. He says he is not wearing it anymore and calls out Frank Miller (Trailer Park Trash). Frank comes out and says that the stipulation that Bodyguy agreed to, was that he would wear that dress and all he has to do is win a match. Frank goes to leave, but Bodyguy clocks Frank from behind with the dress, which was loaded with a trash can lid. Bodyguy smears lipstick on Frank and throws the dress on him.
Bobby is a new face to OVW and was a small guy that looked like he was psychotic. He goes after Melvin, but Melvin pushes him off into the ropes. Bobby comes off the ropes into a powerslam. Melvin sets up for the Bearhug, locks it in, and Bobby taps out in a quick squash for Melvin.
WINNER and STILL OVW TV CHAMPION: MELVIN by submission.
Eddie F. Diamond vs. OVW Heavyweight Champion Marcus Anthony (w/Timmy Danger).
Eddie gets in little offense as Marcus' power is too much to overcome. Marcus locks him in the Crimson Omen for the tapout.
WINNER: MARCUS by submission.
Gilbert
Corsey interviews Timmy Danger after the match about the Sunday Night Special. Timmy says Marcus will make short work of Ryan Howe, and it won't be Howe making Marcus tap, but Marcus making Howe tap. He then says he knows Danny Davis cares about him and will do the right thing in cancelling his fight with Jamin Olivencia.
Jamin comes out and says that Timmy has tried taking him out for the last year by paying people to do his dirty work and protect him. He says no one will be able to protect him at SNS, and he will embarrass Timmy by stripping him to his tighty-whities. He asks Timmy if it was worth it.

Trailer Park Trash comes out and says that if the Bodyguy wants a fight, he's got it in Austin, Indiana on Saturday night, and tells him that he will look real good getting carried out of the arena in the dress.
Leon Shelly vs. Aaron Sky.
Leon gets a few shots in, but Aaron arm drags Leon, hits a dropkick, then a front slam. He goes to the ring apron and springboards in off the top rope with a splash onto Leon for the 3.
WINNER: SKY by pinfall.
Randy Royal comes out to ringside and Gilbert Corsey jumps up to get a word with him. He wants to know if Royal really wants to be someone who is taking out women. Royal says Gilbert needs to worry about keeping his lips shut as Lei'D Tapa's music hits.
Tapa comes to ringside and says she wants Royal in the ring right now and we'll see how tough he is at taking out women. OVW Women's Champion Jessie Belle sneaks out behind Tapa and hits her several times with the lead pipe.
"The
Pastor of Disaster" Rev. Stu Miles comes to the ring. Today's word is truth, and the truth is the fans are all ignorant. He goes on about how important the truth is and again says the cleansing is coming, and everyone in OVW will find out about it, just like the parasite, Paredyse did. Hallelujah.
Tony Gunn & Shiloh Jonze vs. Mohamad Ali Vaez & Michael Hayes.
The other Marauders (Clint Poe, Nick Dumeyer, & Raul LaMotta) come to the ring and distract Hayes, allowing Shiloh to roundhouse kick Hayes in the head while the ref was distracted. Adam Revolver comes out and chases the Marauders away with a bat. Shiloh & Gunn work over Hayes until he makes the tag to Ali. Ali punches Gunn, suplexes him, and hits a DDT. Shiloh comes in to break up the pin, but Ali moves, and Shiloh hits Gunn. Gunn tags in Shiloh, and Hayes & Ali hit him and go for their finisher, but Shiloh tags back out to Gunn. Gunn comes in and is hit with the kneebuster to the face from Hayes and the neckbreaker from Ali for the 3.
WINNERS: HAYES & ALI by pinfall.
After
the match, Ali shakes hands with Adam for helping, but Hayes doesn't. Shiloh calls the Marauders back out and they surround Gunn. Shiloh says Gunn has continually failed him and wants Gunn to show that he is good for something. He makes him get on his knees and tells him to kiss, then changes his mind to lick, his boots. Gunn gets back up and hits all 4 Marauders, but the numbers game catches up. They beat Gunn down, and Shiloh locks in the Mandible Claw.
This ended the TV taping.
Post-Show Dark Matches:
OVW Southern Tag Team Champions Dylan Bostic & the Mexicutioner vs. Ryan Howe & Eddie F. Diamond.
Howe & EFD work over Dylan's arm. EFD locks in the Cripwalk Crossface, but it is broken up by the Mexicutioner. EFD is stomped on and worked over as the ref keeps Howe in his corner. Dylan locks EFD in a chinlock. EFD works his way over for a taf, but the ref doesn't see it. EFD is stomped on again and locked in an abdominal stretch. Dylan slams EFD down by his hair, but misses a kneedrop. Mexicutioner is tagged in, and he misses a legdrop. EFD gets the tag to Howe as Mexicutioner tags back to Bostic. Howe hits Dylan and tosses Mexicutioner from the ring. He locks in the Whammy Bar and Dylan taps.
WINNERS: HOWE & EFD by submission.
After
the match, Dylan & Mexicutioner attack them. Howe is thrown from the ring and they hit the spinebuster/backstabber finisher on EFD.They bring in a steel chair, but are run off by Michael Hayes & Mohamad Ali Vaez.
This episode of OVW TV will be up online tomorrow. As always, thanks for reading!
They had a new referee for the opening bout. Any clue his name?
ReplyDeleteI saw another one! Why the new infusion of refs? Also, do you know the Reverend's alter boy's name?
ReplyDeleteI am not sure about either referee's name. The altar boy's real name is Jesse, although they have yet to actually name him on TV yet.
DeleteThe young ref is named David Crowe. No idea as to the other guy. Seems like they have brought in new guys to beef up the referee roster the last few weeks. Joe Wheeler is back, Jordan Barker is back from his knee injury, Package has been having a rough few weeks with the issue with Jamin and 'bad calls' and theres something weird going on with Ashcraft..not interacting at intermission like he used to with the crowds, the fauxhawk, always seeming pissed off.. I think Package might have to adjust his attitude.
