Without further ado:
Here we go...
Pre-Show Dark Matches:
Despite interference from Shane, Rebel is able to put Jessie Belle away after a sunset flip out of the corner for the 3.
"The Party Starter" Bud Dwight defeats Rump Thump after several rollups and near falls. Rump misses with a Thump, Dwight hits a high knee, and then hits the Party Slam for the 3.
That concludes tonight's pre-show dark matches. I always recommend watching
the episode first on TV or online before reading the rest of the report.
Again, you can check it out on WBNA ion-21 in the Louisville area Saturdays at 11AM and 10PM (check local listings)
and on OVW's official website Mondays at www.ovwrestling.com/tv.
Gilbert Corsey & Ron Hed are on commentary, and Shannon the Dude is the ring announcer.
Gilbert Corsey brings out the owner of Against the Grain Brewery, who is sponsoring the "Brews & Bruises" show at Louisville Slugger Field on November 21. He announces that they will be debuting a new drink that night called the "Poffo Pilsner", and also announces that Rebel will be part of the Femme Fatale Battle Royal.
Rebel comes out and says that she is going to bring the OVW Women's Title home. She then presents a paper with the name of the next team in the Danny Davis Invitational, and it's the current TNA Tag Team Champions, the Wolves! The final announcement is that everyone tonight is getting free popcorn!
Backstage, Rev. Stu Miles is talking to Adam Revolver and being super nice, and Adam doesn't understand it. He says he is an atheist, and Stu is a pastor. Stu continues to be nice as he prepares to go out for his match.
Backstage, Jessie Belle, Shane Andrews, & Randy Royal approach Dean Hill, and Jessie is mad about the Femme Fatale Battle Royal at "Brews & Bruises", and Royal is mad about losing the TV Title. He says he should be competing for the Heavyweight Title. Dean says he is actually #4, and then Ryan Howe comes around the corner, and Dean says Howe is #3.
Silvio gets a rollup with a handful of tights for 1 fall. Driscoll hits a spear on Silvio, but the ref fakes an injury. Driscoll gives him a cutter, so Silvio gets a 2nd fall by DQ.
Chris Sharpe takes over as ref. Silvio tries to deliver a rocket punch, but Driscoll counters with a cutter for a 3 and his first fall. Driscoll then gets a 2nd fall after making Silvio tap to the sharpshooter. Driscoll doesn't break, so Silvio gets a 3rd fall by DQ.
Driscoll comes back and spears Silvio twice for his 3rd fall. Silvio gets locked in the sharpshooter again, but Josh calls Rocco Bellagio out. Rocco interferes, giving Driscoll a 4th fall by DQ. Rocco's interference allows Silvio to pin Driscoll though for his 4th fall.
Driscoll gets back up and spears Rocco, but Josh has handed Silvio the title. Driscoll turns around and gets clocked as Sharpe is distracted by trying to get Rocco out of the ring.
Silvio gets the 3 for his 5th fall. Driscoll hits Silvio out of nowhere with a cutter, but Josh pulls Sharpe out before he can count to 3 and time expires. Silvio wins 5 falls to 4.
This ended the TV taping.
Enjoyed the ref fight at the end of the Driscoll/Silvio match.
