Without further ado:

Here we go...

Pre-Show Dark Matches:

"The Ladies' Man" Leon Shelly & Ravishing Ronnie defeat Bo Reed & Nicky Michaels after a vertical suplex/flying body press combo.

Trevor Steele defeats Nate Stone. Stone with some early offense, but Steele connects with a big boot and makes Stone tap to the rear naked chokehold.

That concludes tonight's pre-show dark matches. I always recommend watching the episode first on TV or online before reading the rest of the report. Again, you can check it out on WBNA ion-21 in the Louisville area Saturdays at 11AM and 10PM (check local listings) and on OVW's official website Mondays at

Gilbert Corsey & Ron Hed are on commentary, and Ron is also the ring announcer.

"Primetime" Robbie Walker comes out and complains that Dean Hill can't count, just like all the fans. Extra men were added to the Nightmare Rumble, and after winning the #19 position, he should have won. He will prove how good he is, though, by facing whoever comes through the curtain next.
The Pope defeats "Primetime" Robbie Walker after catching Robbie off the ropes with a powerslam for the 3.
After the match, Marcus Anthony attacks Pope and hits him with a chair. He handcuffs Pope in the corner, and continues to give him shots in the stomach with the chair.
Dean Hill comes out and tells Marcus to stop. He said he gave Marcus & Pope a chance to handle this situation. He tells Marcus not to touch him again or he will be suspended. Marcus hits Pope with another chair shot, and Dean says he is now suspended from OVW.

Gilbert Corsey interviews "The Bad Boys Club": "Bad Boy" Shane Andrews & "Double R Superstar" Randy Royal (w/Jessie Belle) in the ring. Shane & Royal make jokes about Rev. Stu Miles "hanging in there" after they hung him with a noose at SNS. Jessie Belle says he had a little incident, and Gilbert reminds her that she had an incident last week after the urine sample ended up all over her. Jessie says that it doesn't matter, she will win the title back from the criminal, Maria James, this Saturday in Bardstown. The Bad Boys then wonder if Stu's partner is "hanging around" in the back.
Adam Revolver runs out and attacks both of them. The double-team numbers catch up, but after they put the noose on Adam, Adam is able to fight them off.

Rump Thump defeats "The Party Starter" Bud Dwight, "The Technical Titan" Eric Locker, and Tony Gunn after Locker is eliminated from the match after a head injury, and Rump connects with the Thump on Dwight for the 3.

OVW TELEVISION TITLE: Big Jon (c) defeats Eddie Knox after hitting the chokeslam.

Ron Hed brings out the OVW Heavyweight Champion Ryan Howe. Howe talks about enjoying seeing Josh Ashcraft take the plunge after winning the ladder match at SNS. He then says he is always ready to defend the title and is looking forward to the next match. This brings out his next opponent, Tyler Matrix.
They are supposed to fight in E-Town, but Matrix says how about they fight next week, and Howe is down for it. Dean Hill comes out and says there are great fans who deserve a great show in E-Town, so this will not happen tonight. Devin Driscoll comes out with Casey Reeves & Josh Ashcraft (who was in a neckbrace).
Driscoll says how about Howe & Matrix go ahead and have their little match next week on OVW TV, because it doesn't really matter who wins. He will cash in winning the Nightmare Rumble on whoever is OVW Heavyweight Champion, and become the new champion in E-Town. Dean Hill says that will work, and tells E-Town they are welcome.

"The Chosen One" Mitch Huff defeats Daniel Eads by DQ.
Eads goes for his finisher, but Huff slips off and hits the Athlete's Foot. They both fall to the mat and get up at the count of 9. Huff goes for another Athlete's Foot, but Eads moves and low blows Huff for the DQ. Eads then connects with a super kick of his own and stands over Huff to end the show.

This ended the TV taping.

Post-Show Dark Matches:

Jessie Belle and Maria James get into a brawl that has to be separated by the officials.

The Assassin defeats Casey Reeves (w/Josh Ashcraft). Josh creates a distraction that allows Reeves to use the baseball bat on Assassin's knee. It doesn't help, as Assassin is able to still catch Reeves with a powerslam for the 3.

"The Van Zandt Family Circus": Ringmaster & Dapper Dan Van Zandt (w/Rook) defeats Ravishing Ronnie & "The Ladies' Man" Leon Shelly. Dapper Dan knocks Ronnie out on the outside with Rook's flea collar, then goes in and hits the Death Valley Driver on Leon, followed by the elbow from Ringmaster for the 3.

As always, thanks for reading!
