Without further ado:

Here we go...

Pre-Show Dark Matches:

"The King of Hairstyle" Robbie Walker (w/Torey Payne) defeats Adam Slade. Walker chops, but Slade chops back. Slade back elbows Walker off the ropes. Walker kicks him and slaps him hard in the chest. Slade catches Walker with some hip tosses and a suplex. He gets on the apron and goes to jump in, but Torey grabs his foot. Walker takes advantage, hits some more chops, and a suplex for 2. He locks in a sleeper, but Slade uses a chinbuster to break out. He hits a back elbow and goes back to the apron to jump in with an elbow for 2. He misses a charge and hits his shoulder in the corner turnbuckle. Walker hits an armbuster and makes him tap to a combo arm and leg lock for the victory.

"The Iron Demon" Shane Mercer defeats Lucas Jacobs. Mercer throws Jacobs around. Jacobs tries to fire back, but Mercer catches him with a belly-to-back suplex. He one-arm press slams him, then hits a vertical suplex. He locks in a sleeper. Jacobs hits a chinbuster and goes up in the corner. He leaps off, but is caught by Mercer. Mercer climbs up with him and hits the reverse flip slam for the 3.

Rebel defeats Torey Payne. They start with a test of strength, where Rebel takes Torey down and tries some pins. Torey reverses out and tries some pins also. Torey hits Rebel and chokes her with a boot in the corner. Rebel comes back and clotheslines, kicks Torey in the gut, and then hits a running knee to the face for the 3.

That concludes tonight's pre-show dark matches. I always recommend watching the episode first on TV or online before reading the rest of the report. Again, you can check it out on WBNA ion-21 in the Louisville area Saturdays at 11AM and 10PM (check local listings) and on OVW's official website Mondays at www.ovwrestling.com/tv.

Shannon the Dude & Ron Hed are on commentary, and Ron is the ring announcer.

"Shotgun" Tony Gunn defeats Jade Dawson. Jade comes out firing, but Gunn quickly takes him down and works over the bad knee. Jade continues to try and fight back, hitting a kick to the head and a missile dropkick, but he has a bad landing, hurting the knee. Gunn drags him down by the knee and locks in the YTO, and Jade has to tap.
Gunn adds Jade to the YTO Club as "Emo Billy Kidman".

Dean Hill comes out and says he has a heavy heart after an incident that occured in Charlestown last night. He brings out Bud Dwight and Dwight says that after a shot to his previously injured shoulder from a stop sign last night, he will be forced out of action again for a while, and has to relinquish the OVW TV Title. He promises to be back better, bigger, and faster than ever, and Dean promises him a title shot when he returns. Dean says he knew about this and has a TV Title Tournament set up. It starts tonight and ends this Saturday in E-Town, where there will be a new OVW TV Champion.

OVW TELEVISION TITLE QUALIFIER: Trevor Steele defeats "Double R Superstar" Randy Royal (w/Jessie Belle & "Bad Boy" Shane Andrews). Steele fires away on Royal and hits a big boot. Shane & Jessie interfere, and get thrown out from ringside. Before they go, Shane passes Royal a foreign object. Royal keeps using it to stay on top, but Steele keeps fighting back and hits a big boot and powerbomb for the victory.

OVW TELEVISION TITLE QUALIFIER: Justin Smooth defeats Big Jon. The old rivalry gets renewed as they go right after each other, exchanging blows. They each counter attempts at Street Justice and a chokeslam. Jon splashes Smooth in the corner and hits a chokeslam, but Josh Ashcraft comes out and distracts the ref. The Legacy of Brutality comes out and Hy Zaya hits Jon with a superman punch, and Zo splashes him. Smooth recovers and hits Jon with Street Justice for the 3.

Rocco Bellagio comes out and says he is the show stealer and career killer. He says he has been since he returned to OVW. He took out Eddie Diamond, and he hasn't been heard from again. Then it was Mitch Huff, Rudy Switchblade, Rev. Stu Miles, and last night it was Ryan Howe. However, Dean Hill doesn't think Howe had enough and booked them again at the October SNS. He again says he is the career killer of OVW, the Gatekeeper of Plungetown, and plans on being the longest reigning champion in OVW history. He gets attacked by Adam Revolver. Revolver tells Rocco to put his match vs. Howe on hold, because he is coming for him Saturday in E-Town, and he will take that title and avenge Stu.

OVW TELEVISION TITLE QUALIFIER: Dapper Dan Van Zandt defeats Colton Cage. Dan clubs Cage down. Cage hits a spinning kick, but Dan comes back with more clubbing blows. He hits a back-to-back suplex for 2. Cage comes back with clotheslines. A familiar laugh resonates through the arena and Ringmaster returns and while Dan has the ref distracted, Ringmaster pulls Cage's head down across the top rope. Dan hits the Death Valley Driver for 3. Ringmaster jumps in with his flying elbow following the pin.

OVW TELEVISION TITLE QUALIFIER: Tyler Matrix defeats Big Zo (w/Josh Ashcraft & Hy Zaya). Matrix tries some kicks, but doesn't faze Zo. Zo slams him and hits a roundhouse kick! He goes for a Zo Bomb, but Matrix kicks him off. Zo charges at him, but Matrix pulls down the rope. Matrix flies to the outside, but Zo catches him. Matrix slides out and hits a DDT. Zo comes back and hits Matrix into the barricade and then hits a rock bottom on the ring apron. Zo clubs Matrix across the chest. Zo with some more power moves and a steamroller inside. He locks in a modified STF and drops his weight down across Matrix's back. Zo with a big elbow and a chinlock. Matrix fights out and hits a kick to the head. He hits a kick off the ropes and goes up and hits the swanton bomb. Josh gets on the apron and Hy Zaya runs out. He goes for the Ninja Vanish on Matrix as he is pinning Zo, but Matrix moves, and Hy lands on Zo. Matrix takes Hy out on the outside and gets ambushed from behind by Zo. Matrix is rolled in, but Big Jon comes out and distracts Zo, leading to him getting counted out.

This ended the TV taping.

Post-Show Dark Matches:

"The Van Zandt Family Circus": Ringmaster & Little Damion (w/Dapper Dan) defeat Houdini & Kevin Giza. Ringmaster hits a DDT-like finisher on Houdini for the 3.

"Hood Ninja" Hy Zaya (w/Big Zo & Josh Ashcraft) defeats Billy O. Hy Zaya controls most of the bout and finishes him off with Ninja Vanish.
After the match, Josh wants more destruction and Zo gives 2 Zo Bombs to Billy.

As always, thanks for reading!
