OVW December 2016 SNS Results

This is the OVW Saturday Night Special Report for Saturday, December 3, 2016.

Tonight:

-Rocco Bellagio defends the OVW Heavyweight Title against Randy Royal in a Christmas Chaos match

-Big Jon faces off against the Legacy of Brutality's Hy Zaya & Big Zo for the OVW Southern Tag Team Titles

-Tyler Matrix defends the OVW TV Title against Jade Dawson

-Rev. Stuart Miles (w/Mexicutioner) faces the Elite's Adam Revolver (w/Ted McNaler) in a leather strap on a pole match

Your announcers for tonight are Shannon the Dude & Gilbert Corsey, and Gilbert is also ring announcer.

OVW TELEVISION TITLE MATCH: Jade Dawson vs. "The Young Lion" Tyler Matrix (c).

A fast opening, and Jade & Tyler exchange some chops. Tyler hits Jade with a kick to the face. Jade rolls to the outside. Tyler tricks Jade into thinking that he is going to leap over on him, but Tyler leaps to the apron, and Jade turns around into a kick to the face. Tyler leaps off the apron, but Jade moves, and Tyler hits off the barricade. Back inside, Jade hits a neckbreaker for 2. Jade goes for a fame stopper, but Tyler turns it into a powerbomb for 2. Jade comes back and does hit the fame stopper for 2. Tyler comes back and catches Jade with a kick to the head, but misses the swanton. Jade connects with a running neckbreaker drop for 2. Tyler catches Jade with a swinging neckbreaker and then connects with the swanton for the 3.

WINNER and STILL OVW TV CHAMPION: MATRIX by pinfall.
After the match, Jade refuses to shake hands with Tyler.

"The King of Hairstyle" Robbie Walker, Madi Maxx, & Adam Slade vs. Carlos Gabriel, Callie Bae, & LJ.
A quick match that sees Gabriel's team get the better of the other early, which includes L.J. messing up Walker's hair. In the end, it's Walker hitting a running legdrop to LJ for the 3 as Slade & Madi pull Callie & Gabriel off the apron.
WINNERS: WALKER, MADI, & SLADE by pinfall.

"Shotgun" Tony Gunn vs. "Wrestling's Rockstar" Diamond.
Diamond takes it to Gunn early, and goes for the Whammy Bar. Gunn slides out and leaves the ring. He says he is the best wrestler here, and he will make Diamond tap out. He says he is lucky his woman isn't here to see it. Diamond leaves the ring and chases him, but Gunn rolls in and kicks Diamond as he re-enters. He works most of the rest of the match on Diamond's bad knee. He puts him in the single leg hangman submission, but Diamond hits his way out. Gunn takes Diamond back down and tries to lock in the YTO, but Diamond grabs him and locks in the Whammy Bar. Gunn pokes the ref in the eye and then starts tapping. Diamond gets up to get the ref, and Gunn low blows Diamond which the ref sees for the DQ.
WINNER: DIAMOND by disqualification.
After the match, Gunn locks in the YTO and makes Diamond tap.

"The Van Zandt Family Circus": Dapper Dan Van Zandt, the Ringmaster, & Little Damion (w/Scarlet) vs. Kevin Giza, Lucas Jacobs, & Billy O.

Lucas takes a lot of punishment early, but then Lucas, Billy, & Kevin get on a hot streak. Lucas catchhes Ringmaster off the top rope with a super kick. Billy dropkicks Dan, Damion is thrown out of the ring, Kevin goes up top, but Ringmaster pulls Lucas off the apron and then shoves Kevin to the floor. Damion pulls Billy off the apron by his chain, and Dan catches Lucas with a Death Valley Driver, followed by a Ringmaster flying elbow for the 3.

WINNERS: VAN ZANDT CIRCUS by pinfall.

LEATHER STRAP on a POLE MATCH: "The Elite": Adam Revolver (w/Ted McNaler) vs. "The Pastor of Disaster" Rev. Stuart Miles (w/the Mexicutioner).

After a back and forth opening of trying to get the strap, Stu finally grabs it, but Adam pushes him down across the top turnbuckle. Ted picks the strap up as it falls to the outside, and throws it in to Adam. Adam whips Stu with it and hits him with the buckle. He continues to whip Stu, but Stu starts hulking up reciting the Lord's Prayer. He "heals" Adam, and the strap is loose. Stu picks it up as Ted gets on the apron to distract him. Mex gets Ted's attention and throws powder in his eyes, retribution from weeks past. Meanwhile, Adam is getting powder out of his jacket pocket from the corner. Stu turns around and kicks Adam's hands into his face, and Adam blinds himself. Stu starts going to town on Adam with the strap and hits the double underhook suplex. He then locks in the cross arm submission with the strap for the tapout.

WINNER: REV. STU by pinfall.
After the match, Ted tries to attack Mex & Stu from behind with a chair, but they catch him. He throws the chair down and tries to escape, but they grab him, strip him down and give him a whipping with the strap.

OVW SOUTHERN TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: "The Legacy of Brutality": Big Zo & "Hood Ninja" Hy Zaya (w/Josh Ashcraft & Ca$h Flo) vs. Big Jon (c).
Jon gets attacked from behind as he gets on the ring apron by a Hy Zaya dropkick. Ca$h chops him on the floor at ringside and rolls him in. Jon powers back with a double shoulder block to Hy & Zo. The 4-on-1 advantage takes its toll on Jon. He gets squashed by the Zo train. Hy is in and locks in a sleeper. It looks like Jon may be fading, but he gets back to his feet and rams him back into the corner. He gets Hy to break, but misses a splash in the corner. Hy charges in, but Jon moves from a superman punch. Jon hits a spear and crawls toward his corner. All of a sudden, Justin Smooth runs out, gets in Jon's corner, and tags in! He gets in and runs through the Legacy, taking everyone down, and knocking Ca$h off the apron. He catches Hy with Street Justice and gets the 3, all while Jon watches on with a confused look.

WINNERS and STILL OVW SOUTHERN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: JON & SMOOTH by pinfall.

After getting approval from the fans, Jon celebrates with Smooth after the match.

OVW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: "The Double R Superstar" Randy Royal vs. "The Show Stealer" Rocco Bellagio (c).
Royal goes right after Rocco, and chokes him with a belt. Rocco comes back and takes Royal down. He grabs a chair and a ladder from under the ring. He swings the ladder at Royal, but Royal ducks twice. Royal gets the chair and hits it into the ladder, hurting Rocco's hands. Royal sets up the ladder across the side of the ring and the barricade. He tries to suplex Rocco on it, but Rocco reverses and suplexes Royal into the ring. Rocco hits Royal's head off a trash can. Royal comes back with a drop toehold to Rocco into the can. Rocco comes back and says he is going to take Royal to Plungetown as he points to the rafters. They disappear to the back, but Rocco comes back out looking dazed and wet, and has a toilet seat around his neck, where it looks as if they fought into the restroom and Rocco got a "Royal Flush". Royal hits him with the trash can, then a computer keyboard. He puts the can over Rocco's head and hits it several times with a kendo stick. Rocco falls down into the corner. Royal pulls out a cinder block and a bowling ball. He places the block between Rocco's legs and then rolls the bowling ball into it. He then hits Crown Royal for 2. He grabs Rocco, but Rocco hits him with a Plunge on the Plungetown sign for 2. Royal comes back with a shot with brass knucks for 2. Rocco catches him for another Plunge attempt, but Royal slides out, and hits the pedigree on the Plungetown sign, but Rocco is out at 2! Royal points to the rafters and takes Rocco up. He pulls out a chain when they get up there, but Rocco low blows him. He then hits Royal with the chain and Royal falls to the floor below. Rocco comes down and pins him under a pile of chairs for the 3.

WINNER and STILL OVW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: ROCCO by pinfall.
