Without further ado:
Here we go...
Pre-Show Dark Matches:
Dapper Dan defeats Nick Berry. Nick tries several shoulder blocks, but Dapper takes him down with one. A lot of power moves, but Nick starts to fight back and hits a kick to the side of Dan's head, stunning him. He goes for a super kick, but Dan blocks and hits the Death Valley Driver for 3.
OVW Women's Champion Madi Maxx defeats Callie & "Bad Girl" Jessie Belle. A 3-way test of strength to start it out. Madi kicks them both, but Madi & Jessie end up working together on Callie until they both try going for pins. Madi kicks Jessie off a Boston crab, then all 3 end up choking each other. Madi takes Jessie down, then faceplants Callie to get the 3.
That
concludes tonight's pre-show dark matches. I always recommend watching
the episode first on TV or online before reading the rest of the report.
Again, you can check it out on WBNA ion-21 in the Louisville area Saturdays at 11AM and 10PM (check local listings) and on OVW's official website Mondays at www.ovwrestling.com/tv.
Ron Hed & Gilbert Corsey are on commentary, and KC is the ring announcer.
Dean Hill comes out and Big Jon is brought out and congratulated on being the new OVW Heavyweight Champion. Dean says at the Run for the Ropes event, there will be a "Thoroughbred Battle Royal" where the winner will face Big Jon immediately after the battle royal for the title. However, he still needs a #1 contender for the SNS that will be on May 13 due to Derby. Justin Smooth comes out and congratulates Jon, but says he wants a shot at the gold. Adam Revolver comes out with Shannon the Dude and says they took down Tyler Matrix and deserve a shot. Big Zo comes out and says he should get a shot. Finally, Daniel Eads comes out and says he beat Big Jon two weeks ago and should get a shot. Dean says the Final Four just ended, but he is going to do a Final 4 of his own. There will be a series of matches tonight where Smooth will face Revolver, and Zo will face Eads, with the winners of both matches facing each other in the main event to become #1 contender!
"The Man of Tomorrow" Daniel Eads defeats Big Zo. Zo is attacked while posing. Zo comes back and connects with the Zo train. He misses a big legdrop and Eads hits a flying elbow. Zo comes back and slams Eads, but is distracted by Ca$h Flo & Josh Ashcraft. Zo misses the Zo bomb, and Eads connects with the superman punch for the 3.

BRUSH HOUR: Robbie Walker comes out hurting and achy from the brutal ladder match at the last SNS. He doesn't understand the big deal about Johnny Mundo coming back to OVW on April 19. He says he is here every week to entertain us and he cuts up a picture of Mundo. He then brings out his guest, David Lee Lorenze III. He says his name wrong, so David calls for a take two. He says he is taking care of Houdini at the Rusty Bucket, and will then take the OVW TV Title next week. He promises to bring a lot of "action". As David is leaving, Robbie says he thinks David needs to "cut" it out.
