Zo shoulder blocks him off the ropes, hits a big slam, then the Are You Serious legdrop for 2. He hits the cartwheel butt bump in the corner, followed by some back elbows. He then hits a fallaway slam. BGB kicks him as he goes for the Zo train and hits him with a hard right, but Zo backdrops him. That concludes tonight's pre-show dark matches. I always recommend watching the episode first on TV or online before reading the rest of the report. Again, you can check it out on WBNA-21 in the Louisville area Saturdays at 11AM and 9PM (check local listings) and on OVW's official website Mondays at www.ovwrestling.com/ovw-media.html.

Dr. Ted McNaler, Mike Lacett, & Gilbert Corsey are on commentary, and KC is the ring announcer.

Adam Revolver defeats "The Boy Wonder" Sam Thompson. Shannon the Dude joins Gilbert Corsey & Mike Lacett on commentary. Adam rips and gouges at Sam's face and works him over. He slams him, but misses a kneedrop. Sam comes back with some flying forearms and a super kick for 2. Sam swings wildly and misses, and Adam locks in the sleeper hold. Sam passes out and Adam wins.
After the match, Shannon says him & Adam are winners, not guys like Gilbert and Lacett. Gilbert says he remembers Lacett pinning him, and STD says he doesn't remember that. Lacett says STD was knocked out, that's why he doesn't remember it. STD says he doesn't have to listen to a bunch of idiots and leaves.

Gilbert Corsey brings out the winner of the Nightmare Rumble and NEW #1 contender, Bud Dwight!
Michael Hayes comes out instead. He says it's heartwarming for all these homecoming stories, with Dwight defeating 34 other men to win, but he knows his bones are brittle, specifically his shoulders. Bud Dwight comes out.
He says this is the biggest opportunity of his career and he's looking forward to it. He said after his first shoulder surgery, he came back to have the best year of his life, winning the TV Title. This time he is back to win the Heavyweight Title.
Tony Gunn interrupts and says it was a fluke that Dwight won. He says just a few hours earlier that night, he beat Dwight in a sanctioned match. He challenges him for his #1 contendership tonight. Dwight says he has beat him twice in the past for the TV Title, and has a history of challenging people for their #1 spots. He said it was Tyler Matrix 2 months ago, and he lost, then Houdini last month, and he lost. He has no problem taking the title from Hayes at the Special, and beating Gunn tonight...
#1 CONTENDER for the OVW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE: "The Party Starter" Bud Dwight defeats "Shotgun" Tony Gunn. Quick back and forth opening. Gunn flapjacks Bud, but Bud comes back firing. Gunn takes control after yanking Bud's arm with the bad shoulder across the top rope. Gunn focuses his offense on the shoulder. Bud fires back with a clothesline out of the corner. Gunn throws Bud shoulder first into the ring post. Referee Stephon Smith tells him not to do it again and get him back in the ring. Gunn shoves him out of the way and does it again anyway. Stephon calls for the bell.
After the match, Hayes attacks Bud. He slams his shoulder off the steel steps, then into the ring post.

Dapper Dan defeats William Lutz. Dan takes Lutz down, but Lutz comes out of the corner with a reverse cross body. He pounds on Dan and has a side headlock. He pulls Dan's head over the top rope. Dan catches him with a back elbow and a release German suplex. Off the ropes, Dan shoulder tackles him and delivers the Death Valley Driver for the 3.

"The Bro Godz": Dustin Jackson & Colton Cage (w/Jaylee & Dimesdefeats "The Top Guys": Kevin Giza & "The Winter Swoldier" Adam Slade. A quick start for the Top Guys, but Jaylee causes a distraction allowing the Bros to take control. They hit the Cage splash into a Dustin dropkick, Bro 69, and Cage hits a sideburn effect, but they can't put Giza away. Slade gets the hot tag and fires away with uppercuts galore. Giza flies out on Cage, and Slade tells him to go up top. He goes up, but Jaylee distracts him. Dustin throws Slade into Giza and then Cage gets in and they hit the snapshot for the 3.
After the match, Jaylee says DL3 is out scouting new talent for his big upcoming production. She says the Bro Godz got robbed Saturday, and talks about how she took care of business with Torey Payne.
Torey comes out and spears Jaylee and the Bros have to pull them apart.
Jessie Belle then runs out and attacks Jaylee, but gets tripped by the Bros allowing Jaylee to hit her finisher.
Randy Royal runs out and goes after the Bros, but the Bros & Dimes have the numbers advantage.
Cardinal then runs out and helps Randy clean house. He gives him a nod as he exits the ring.

OVW TELEVISION TITLE: "The Real Deal" Randall Floyd (c) defeats "The River City Dragon" Logan James. A fast-paced opening. Randall takes LJ down and goes for the modified Boston crab early, but LJ gets out and fires back with some flying forearms. LJ hits a snap suplex out of the corner. Randall takes LJ down, then takes off the top turnbuckle. LJ rolls Randall up, but the ref is outside getting the turnbuckle cover. Randall catches LJ with a powerslam. As LJ & Randall are fighting, the ref gets hit in the back and again LJ takes Randall down for the pin, but there's no ref to count. As LJ gets the ref, Randall rolls him up from behind with a handful of tights for the 3.
After the match, LJ says to stop holding the title up. He had him beat twice. He is challenging him to a match where they count the number of times he beats him. He challenges him to a 30-minute iron man match next week, and Randall accepts!

This ended the TV taping.

Apollo "Showtime" Garvin defeats Nigel Winters. Apollo slaps Nigel, but Nigel hits back and connects with a dropkick. Apollo hits him with a closed fist, then pokes him in the eye, then pulls his hair. Nigel starts to fire back as Apollo goes for his fanny pack. The ref takes it away, but as he does, Apollo grabs a foreign object out of his kneepad. He hits Nigel with it in the throat and gets the 3.

Billy O & Aloicious Hamilton defeats "The Void": Damion & Chace Destiny (w/Amon). Damion knees Alo. He locks the arm, but Alo reverses. He plows Damion over, then powerbombs him for 2. He tags Billy and they hit a double long-standing suplex. Off the ropes, Chace blind tags. He hits Billy from behind. Billy regains control and hits the high knee in the corner. He puts Chace on his shoulders, but Amon distracts him on the apron. He drops Chace and goes after Amon. Damion hits him from behind and Amon slams him on the floor. Back inside, Chace & Damion double team him. They drop Billy and kick him in the head. Chace holds the legs open for Damion to hit a flying headbutt below the belt, and the ref calls for a DQ.
After the match, Amon takes Billy out while Alo fights with the Void in the ring. Amon gets in and takes him out with the chain, then delivers a pedigree.
