Without further ado:

Here we go...

KTD & D'mone fight for a bit before Lawrence gets back in. D'mone takes KTD down, but Lawrence rolls D'mone up from behind with a handful of tights for the 3.

OVW Overdrive (Airing Saturdays at 11AM starting in January):

OVW Rush Champion AJ Daniels defeats William Lutz . Both men with several exchanges off the ropes and off their game a little bit at first. AJ comes back with a leap-in clothesline. He delivers some kicks and misses the Zero Kick. Lutz with a slam for 2. He places AJ on the top rope, but AJ shoves him off. AJ with a 450 splash for the 3.

"Mr. Marvelous" Melvin Maximus (w/Mrs. Marvelous) defeats "The Boy Wonder" Sam Thompson (w/Dapper Dan). As Melvin makes his entrance, Amon can be heard saying he'll be watching this match closely as he laughs maniacally. Melvin fires away on Sam, so Dan jumps on the apron. Sam dropkicks him, but Melvin clotheslines him back down. He blocks another dropkick attempt. Dan is back on the apron, and Mrs. Marvelous plays tug of war with Sam's briefcase. She lets go, and Dan falls over on the floor. Sam goes for a kick, but Melvin catches his foot and slings him down to the mat. He then hits the Marvelous Leg Sweep for the 3.
After the match, Amon can be heard saying, "Mr. Marvelous, I'm coming for you...or am I coming for her?" as he maniacally laughs again.

Jay Bradley (w/"The Legacy of Brutality": Ca$h Flo, Big Zo, "The Hood Ninja" Hy Zaya, & "The East End Villain" Josh Ashcraft) defeats "The Indian Lion" Mahabali Shera. Shera goes right after him and fires away. Jay chops him in the corner, but Shera chops back. Jay reverses a throw to the corner. He charges in, but Shera flips him to the outside. Jay pokes him in the eye on the outside and hits his head off the apron. He chops him against the barricade, but Shera fires a chop back again. Back inside, Jay kicks him and goes for a suplex, but Shera reverses. 2 count. Ca$h grabs at Shera's foot and Jay throws Shera out to the floor. Josh causes a distraction that allows Hy & Zo to hit Shera on the outside. Jay stomps him. He works him over and locks in a sleeper. Shera fights up, but gets a boot from Jay. Jay throws him to the other corner and boots him in the face. Jay slams him by the corner and goes up for the elbow drop off the second rope for 2. Jay goes for another, but Shera gets up and powerbombs him off! Shera fires up and takes Jay off his feet. A big slam, then Shera hits the Sky High. Josh gets on the apron distracting Shera. Shera avoids an attack by Jay, but Jay slides off his shoulders, connects with the Boomstick, and gets the 3.
After the match, the L.O.B. is on the attack.
Jax Dane runs out with a chair to clear the ring.

That concludes tonight's pre-show dark matches and Overdrive. I always recommend watching the episode first on TV or online before reading the report. Again, you can check it out on WBNA-21 in the Louisville area LIVE at 8PM or Saturdays at 11AM and 9PM (check local listings) and on the OVW Network.

Dr. Ted McNaler & Gilbert Corsey are on commentary, and Brittany Devore is the ring announcer.

Gilbert Corsey starts off in the ring with Santa Claus. The Nightmare Rumble comes back January 11. Santa announces the main event will determine who goes first and who goes last in the Rumble. Gilbert says it will be Jax Dane vs. Leonis Khan in that main event. Gilbert then brings out the first ever Rush Champion, AJ Daniels. Gilbert says Christmas came early as AJ shot into the history books. AJ says he is "Mr. Zero Gravity" and the "rush" is on.
Corey Storm comes out and says the only reason AJ is champion, is because he wasn't in the match. He was the youngest ever TV Champion, a current tag team champion, and a Nightmare Cup winner. He challenges AJ, and AJ accepts a match for right now!
RUSH CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: OVW Southern Tag Team Champion "The Prince of Flight" Corey Storm vs. "Zero Gravity" AJ Daniels (c).
Quick back and forth early, with Storm knocking AJ to the outside and diving out on him. Back inside, Storm gets a 2 count. He delivers some kicks to the chest. AJ back with a kick. He misses a charge, but catches himself on the apron and kicks Storm in the head. He hits a reverse dive for 2. He charges into a boot from Storm. Storm with a flying cross body. Storm with a rolling bomb for 2. Storm shoulders him in the corner. AJ with a flip over Storm. He kicks him 3 times, then hits a Zero Kick. He misses a 450 and Storm dropkicks him into the corner. Storm gets caught with a knee to the face going for the Eye of the Storm. AJ goes up again and this time connects with the 450 for the 3!
WINNER and STILL RUSH CHAMPION: AJ by pinfall.

Dustin Jackson comes out and wants another match with Randall Floyd, after he cheated by tying him down with handcuffs last week. Floyd appears on screen and says he's not here, he's in Los Angeles filming a shampoo commercial. However, he has a challenge for him right now...
Steve Michaels vs. Dustin Jackson.
Steve clubs Dustin down and slams him. Dustin back with a dropkick. He goes for a splash in the corner, but Steve plows him down. He works Dustin over. Another big slam and Steve climbs up. He jumps off, but Dustin rolls away. Dustin fires back and hits a running forearm. Steve charges, but Dustin pulls down the top rope and Steve flies to the floor. Dustin leaps out on him. Back inside, Dustin kicks him and heads up top. He hits a huge missile dropkick for the 3.
WINNER: DUSTIN by pinfall.
After the match, Floyd appears on the screen again and laughs and congratulates him. He says Dustin beat someone that wasn't "the Hammer", that wasn't Randall Floyd!

Nigel vs. "The Mayan Mauler" Drew Hernandez.
Nigel offers Drew money. Drew shoves him, so Nigel super kicks him. Nigel hits the double foot stomp in the corner and hits a monkey flip. Drew kicks out, so Nigel calls for Chace to cause a distraction. Drew hits Chace off the apron and Nigel goes to hit him with the croquet mallet. Drew ducks and clotheslines him. Chace is up again, but Drew hits him with a Samoan drop. Nigel goes after him with the mallet again, but Drew ducks and Nigel hits it off the top rope and back into his own face. Drew hits the Mayan Apocalypse for the 3.
WINNER: DREW by pinfall.

DL3 & "Action" Ashton Cove vs. AJZ & Tony Bizo.
AJZ takes it to Cove early, then Bizo tags in. Bizo has Cove up, but he slips away and takes out Bizo's bad knee. DL3 tags in and dropkicks him. Bizo is worked over briefly before getting a hot tag to AJZ. All 4 men are in the ring. Bizo clotheslines Cove out, then they hit a 4D on DL3 for the 3.
WINNERS: BIZO & AJZ by pinfall.

WINNER GETS LAST SPOT, LOSER GETS FIRST SPOT IN THE NIGHTMARE RUMBLE: Leonis Khan vs. Jax Dane.
Before they can get started, Justin Smooth's music hits and he comes out to ringside. Khan hits the running shoulder tackle and then Jax knocks Khan out of the ring. Khan pulls him out and they fight on the floor. Back inside, Khan chops Jax, then spears him. Smooth distracts the ref from the pin. Jax then spears Khan, but the Legacy of Brutality runs out and attacks Jax while Josh Ashcraft distracts the ref. Mahabali Shera runs out with a chair to chase them off. A chair is left behind and Smooth gets in and grabs it.
He hits Jax across the back, which only angers him. Leonis clocks Smooth out of the ring, but the ruling is Jax wins by DQ!
WINNER: JAX by DQ.

This ended the TV taping.
