OVW SNS #104 Results: Nightmare Rumble

This is the OVW Report for the January 11, 2020 (104th) edition of the Saturday Night Special!

Tonight:

-The 30-man over-the-top rope Nightmare Rumble where the winner will get a future title shot against Justin Smooth for the OVW Heavyweight Championship!

-Megan Bayne gets her last chance to regain the Women's Title against Max the Impaler! If she fails to win, she cannot face Max ever again!

-AJ Daniels defends the Rush Title against Corey Storm & Hy Zaya in triple threat action!

Your announcers for tonight are Gilbert Corsey & Shannon the Dude, and Brittany Devore & Dr. Ted McNaler are the ring announcers.

"The Standard" Dusty Gold vs. Brandon Wolfe.
A handshake and a lock-up. Quick back and forth action off the ropes. Gold with a kick and standing moonsault. Wolfe back with a chop and a backstabber for 2. Gold flips out of a corner charge and shoulders Wolfe in the corner. He takes Wolfe down and hits a Lionsault for 2. Wolfe bites him in the head and hits the Call of the Wild for the 3.

WINNER: WOLFE by pinfall.

ANARCHY TITLE FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE MATCH: "Mr. Marvelous" Melvin Maximus (w/Mrs. Marvelous) vs. Amon (c).
Melvin hits Amon with a cookie sheet on the outside and hits his head off the apron. Amon throws Melvin into the steps. Back inside, Melvin slams Amon and rolls a bowling ball below the belt. Amon rolls out and Melvin throws him into the guardrail. They fight backstage where Melvin continues to hit Amon with a cookie sheet...this match continues in the back, but OVW is moving on to the next match...

RE-ENTRY REWARD MATCH (If the winner of this match is eliminated from the Nightmare Rumble, they will get to re-renter the Rumble for a second chance of winning!): Luscious Lawrence vs. Ca$h Flo (w/Josh Ashcraft).

Lawrence poses, then takes it to Ca$h with chops, a kick, a Luscious legdrop, but Ca$h kicks out at 2. Ca$h chops back and misses a charge. Ca$h sits on him, then does Lawrence's pose. Lawrence tries a quick roll-up for 2. He tries to slam Ca$h, but can't pick him up. He finally gets him on a third attempt after Ca$h runs into the corner. Lawrence goes up top and hits a splash from the top. Josh causes a distraction that allows Big Zo to run out, pull Lawrence off the pin and slam him on the side of the apron. Ca$h gets back up and goes to the top rope. He hits a frog splash for the 3!
WINNER: CA$H by pinfall.

WINNING TEAM GETS IN THE NIGHTMARE RUMBLE: D'mone Solavino & The Gilpinator vs. Dustin Jackson & Drew Hernandez.
D'mone attacks Drew, knees him, and hits a backstabber. Drew comes back and gets a tag to Dustin. Dustin flips D'mone, who tags Gilp in. Off the ropes, Dustin dropkicks him. He goes for a pin, but D'mone breaks it up. Drew plows him out of the ring. Drew hits Gilp with the Mayan Apocalypse, then tags Dustin back in for the top rope splash and the 3.
WINNERS: DREW & DUSTIN by pinfall.

We see Amon & Melvin fighting in the back. Amon is choking Melvin with a belt. Mrs. Marvelous tells him to stop, which allows Melvin to throw powder in Amon's eyes, hit him with a belt, and choke Amon. He throws Amon over a couch and the fight continues...

WOMEN'S TITLE: Megan Bayne vs. Max the Impaler (c).
Megan takes the fight to Max early. She hits and kicks her in the corner and clotheslines her. She hits a suplex and then a running forearm in the corner. Meg with a kick off the ropes, then misses an elbow drop. Max tries to lock in a full Nelson, but Megan drops with a chinbuster. Max headbutts her and locks her in a submission. She clubs Megan across the chest in the ropes. Megan fires back, and hits a shoulder tackle off the ropes. Megan knees her and snapmares her down. Megan slams her and goes for the F5, but Max claws her eyes, clotheslines her in the back of the head, and spears her for the 3.
WINNER and STILL WOMEN'S CHAMPION: MAX by pinfall.

We see Amon & Melvin fighting in the back again. Melvin shoves Amon's head down a toilet, but Amon hits Melvin in the midsection. He clubs Melvin down then slams the bathroom door shut. The fight continues...

OVW RUSH TITLE TRIPLE THREAT MATCH: "Hood Ninja" Hy Zaya (w/Josh Ashcraft) vs. "The Prince of Flight" Corey Storm vs. "Zero Gravity" AJ Daniels (c).
Hy flips out of the ring and lets AJ & Storm fight it out to start. A quick back and forth stalemate. Storm takes AJ down, then Hy gets on the apron. He grabs Storm and hits a flip in neckbreaker. AJ gets back in and him and Strom exchange kicking Hy. They double dropkick him out of the ring. AJ throws Storm in the corner, then misses a charge. Storm cannonballs him in the corner, then flies out on Hy. AJ gets back up and flies out on them both. Hy gets back up and goes for a trust fall, but overshoots them both. Back inside, AJ with a super kick to Storm and some kicks to the chest. Hy is back up and AJ goes down. Hy and Storm fight in the corner. Storm kicks Hy down, and also flies off with the Eye of the Storm to the back of AJ for the 3!

WINNER and NEW OVW RUSH CHAMPION: STORM by pinfall.

Back at ringside is Melvin & Amon. Amon clubs Melvin across the midsection and the back with a pipe. He brings out a table from under the ring. He has a trash can lid and sets it up, where he delivers an STH to Melvin on it. He goes out and grabs Mrs. Marvelous. Melvin recovers and hits Amon with the lid. He checks on Mrs. Marvelous, but Amon grabs him and powerbombs him down through the table for the 3.

WINNER and STILL OVW ANARCHY CHAMPION: AMON by pinfall.

NIGHTMARE RUMBLE:
Leonis Khan starts out against Maximus Khan (it was announced Melvin Maximus was supposed to be #2, but was injured during his match with Amon). #3 is Dapper Dan. Dan offers them his sucker before hitting them. They fire back and Leonis spears Dan, then throws him out. Big D is #4. The Kings hit him in the corner, then toss him out. #5 is DL3. He comes out talking about Cali's agenda, and saying teachers should get paid even less. The Kings go out after him, hit him inside the ring, and then clothesline him out. Ca$h Flo is #6. Josh distracts Leonis, while Ca$h goes after Maximus. He chops them both. He slams Maximus, then throws Leonis hard into the opposite corner and chops him again. Ca$h slams them on top of each other. He goes up top and Maximus gets up and clotheslines him off the top and to the outside. Nigel is out #7 with his croquet mallet. Leonis press slams him and hits him with the mallet. Leonis with a hard chop in the corner. The Mexicutioner is out at #8. He spears and throws out Nigel. Tony Bizo is #9. Bizo goes after Mex as the Kings take a breather in the corner. #10 is Sam Thompson. He doesn't get in right away. He tries to fly in from behind while Dapper Dan causes a distraction, but Leonis catches him and throws him into Dan to eliminate him.

#11 is KTD. #12 is Chace. #13 is Shannon the Dude. He grabs a mic and says there's no rule that says he has to get in right away, so he goes and sits back at the announce table. #14 is William Lutz. #15 is Big Zo. #16 is Drew Hernandez. Drew clotheslines Mex out. #17 is Dr. Ted McNaler. He chases Shannon into the ring. Ted then throws him out. #18 is Max the Impaler! She gives Ted a full nelson slam, then throws him out. #19 is Megan Bayne! She goes right after Max and they eliminate each other and continue fighting to the back. #20 is Steve Michaels. He throws Lutz out, then dumps KTD out. #21 is AJZ. Michaels throws Bizo & Drew out. He then throws Chace out onto Bizo, Drew, KTD, & Lutz.

#22 is Ashton Cove. Justin Smooth accompanies him out. #23 is Dustin Jackson. Smooth keeps saving Cove from elimination. #24 is Amon. #25 is Corey Storm. #26 is Brandon Wolfe. #27 is Luscious Lawrence.

Mrs. Marvelous comes to ringside yelling at Amon, and Dustin dumps him out of the ring. Amon grabs her by the throat and takes her to the back. Zo is eliminated by Storm & Lawrence. #28 is Tony Gunn. Maximus throws out Cove. #29 is Jay Bradley. Gunn eliminates Maximus. Jay throws out AJZ. Jay flips Dustin out of the ring. Jay tosses Storm out. Jay throws Lawrence out. He chokeslams Wolfe to the floor. It's down to Jay & Leonis with #30 due out. Leonis spears Jay to the floor. Gunn was hiding on the outside, but Leonis takes him out. #30 is Ca$h Flo. Ca$h sneaks in and dumps Leonis out!

WINNER and NEW #1 CONTENDER: CA$H FLO.
