Bryan Kennison, Steven Johnson, & Shannon the Dude are on commentary, Eric Cornish is the ring announcer.
Adam Revolver is out for his latest Covid update in a hazmat suit with his doctors and sign language guy. He thanks Nancy Pelosi for her great work, then says this place is filthy and he'll make sure there's no episode 1100 next week. Dustin Jackson comes out and says there will be an episode 1100 and Adam can have his fake doctors and fake sign language guy, but next week, it's the two of them in a match. Adam asks what happens if he doesn't show up? Dustin says he's fired! Adam says Dustin's screwed. Dustin says Adam's screwed, because he tested positive for kicking his butt! Adam gets out, but as Dustin gets distracted by the doctors, Adam attacks him from behind and hits him with a chair.
Tony Gunn comes out and says he is the best whether you agree or not. He says tonight's main event is a #1 contender's match between Ryan Howe vs. Brian Pillman Jr. He says he will still be heavyweight champion next week. He gets interrupted by Reverend Ronnie Roberts. He says OVW has trained a lot of big names, but he has trained a lot of big names on this side of the river, and challenges Tony to a title match, so he can add that title to his collection plate. Tony says he is not deserving like the competitors in the #1 contender's match tonight. Ronnie goads him into a match, but Tony says it will be non-title...
"Shotgun" Tony Gunn vs. Reverend Ronnie Roberts. Gunn goes for the Killshot, but Ronnie moves and rolls him up for a quick 2. Ronnie keeps him off his feet early, but misses his healing hand. Tony with the Killshot for the 3.
WINNER: GUNN by pinfall.
"Livewire" KTD & "Action" Ashton Cove vs. "The Legacy of Brutality": Big Zo & Ca$h Flo (w/Josh Ashcraft, Steve Michaels, & "Hood Ninja" Hy Zaya).
KTD & Cove try to double team Ca$h, but he suplexes them both, then lights KTD up with chops in the corner. Zo comes in and squashes him and Cove tags in. He gets slammed hard by Ca$h, then squashed between Ca$h & Zo for the 3.
WINNERS: LEGACY by pinfall.
After the match, Zo slams KTD and Ca$h hits a splash from the top rope. Tony Bizo & Anthony Catena come out after them, followed by the Tate Twins. The L.O.B. regroups on the outside.
#1 CONTENDER for the OVW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE: "Rockstar" Ryan Howe vs. Brian Pillman Jr.
Quick back and forth early. They exchange chops, then Howe back body drops Pillman. Pillman hits him outside the ring. He goes to leap in, but gets dropkicked off the apron. Howe dives out on him, but eats the concrete as much as Pillman. They exchange blows, and Howe is rolled in. Pillman goes up and sunset flips for 2 as Howe reverses for 2. Several quick pin attempts. Pillman with a super kick and jackhammer for the 3.
WINNER and NEW #1 CONTENDER: PILLMAN by pinfall.
This ended the TV taping.
*AS ALWAYS, THANKS FOR READING!
