"The Recusants"

"The Iron Bear" Tom Coffey vs. "The Final Boss" Bruce Wayans & Classy Ali.
Ali tries a quick roll-up on Tom. He ducks off the ropes and dropkicks Tom toward his corner. Espy tags in and Ali dropkicks him toward their corner. Bruce tags in and they deliver a double back elbow off the ropes. Ali tags back in, but Espy tags Tom and they take control. Tom clubs Ali, and Espy tags back in and delivers an uppercut. WINNERS: RECUSANTS by pinfall.

OVW TV (HOUR 1):
Bryan Kennison & Shannon the Dude are on commentary, Eric Cornish is the ring announcer.

We start off with
Al Snow in the ring. He is out to talk about the ending to last week's show when Haley J attacked Sierra and some of the officials on the way out after losing the sock of rocks on a pole match. Haley says she has been working hard carrying the Women's division and thinks Al is going to give her an award. Al says her actions last week were not fitting of a professional, and is going to fine her. Haley gives him $300, but Al says that is not even going to scratch the surface. He is also going to suspend her. She says good, she needs a vacation. Al says he is also stripping her of the title as she vacations at the beach. Haley says no way. She tries to run through two referees at ringside, but then runs into an officer who is a friend of Al's. He cuffs her and Al says that it only makes sense for the title to go to the #1 contender. He asks Dani Mo to come out. He presents the title to Dani, but she wants to earn it. She doesn't want it to be just handed to her. Sierra comes out and asks Dani if she said she wants to earn it. Dani says that's true. Sierra wants to be her opponent, because she pinned Haley last week. Al says he will make the match for the vacated Women's Title at the next special Reckoning on August 28!

"Double A"
 Arie Alexander vs. Dani Mo
.
A good battle back and forth between two of OVW's top women. In the end, Dani takes her down with a cutter for the 3.
WINNER: DANI by pinfall.

William Lutz vs. "Mr. Zero Gravity" AJ Daniels.
AJ with the quick start, but Lutz comes back with a flurry of offense, hitting AJ with a headbutt, overhead neckbreaker, and dropkick into the corner. He takes AJ down for a moonsault, but AJ moves. AJ kicks Lutz in the head and trips him up. He starts delivering the Countdown Kicks, but Facade comes out from under the ring and gets on the apron. He chases AJ out of the ring and around the ring, then to the back. .
WINNER: LUTZ by countout.

The Good Word - BYU Radio
Reverend Ronnie Roberts is out for another edition of the Good Word. His guest is Luscious Lawrence. He says the Kentucky Title Tournament is still going on and tells Luscious that he doesn't have focus, because he has lady problems.
Luscious agrees that the House of Luscious hasn't been in order, but he does expect to go on and become the new champion. Ronnie says they are on the opposite side of the bracket from one another and he's getting slept on in this tournament. Luscious says he's going to make it real oily, real juicy, lay it down real good. He then plants a kiss on Ronnie to end this edition of the Good Word
.

RUSH TITLE MATCH: Gustavo vs. Blanco Loco vs. Star Rider (c).
Offense so fast-paced, it was hard for Bryan & Shannon to call the action at ringside and for me to try and type! Loco controls the action for a bit, then Gustavo does after planting Loco & Star with a double DDT. Loco stomps on Gustavo's fingers and then hits a backbreaker for 2. Star comes back, kicking Loco and hitting some forearms. He hits Loco with a backstabber, then Gustavo clotheslines him. Star & Loco clothesline each other over the top rope and Gustavo is left in the ring. D'mone Solavino runs out from behind and hits him, but Gustavo hits him with his finisher and throws him onto Loco outside. Star comes back in and has Gustavo down for the cover, but Gustavo rolls through and gets the 3!
WINNER and NEW RUSH CHAMPION: GUSTAVO by pinfall.
After the match, D'mone runs back in and attacks Gustavo. He locks in a Figure Four and Loco & Star hit him off. Officials come out to check on Gustavo and D'mone attacks again. He is hit off again by Star & Loco. He grabs a mic and tells Gustavo he was supposed to be in the match, and that title is his. He tells Gustavo once he is able to stand, he knows he'll want revenge, and D'mone wants that title!

OVW TV (HOUR 2):
Bryan Kennison & Shannon the Dude are on commentary, Eric Cornish is the ring announcer.

WINNER: SIERRA by pinfall.

Dream Girl Ellie vs. Sierra.
They fight into the corner where Ellie shoulders into her and kicks her in the face. Ellie hits her head off the turnbuckle and rams her shoulder into her more. Ellie with a hard chop, but Sierra comes out of the corner with a hard boot and some clotheslines. She slings Ellie into the corner and runs in with an uppercut, then a double knee. She covers for 2. Sierra has her up on the shoulders, but Ellie slides off and rolls her up for 2. Ellie screams and goes for a move, but Sierra blocks it and drops her with a finisher across her back for the 3.
We see Jessie Godderz backstage being interviewed by Steven Johnson. Jessie sees Omar Amir and calls him the #2 around here. He says if it was the Olympics, he'd be America and Omar would be China. Omar says Jessie is a muscular parrot. All he does is talk!

Back from break, Ca$h Flo is beating Dimes up around ringside and into the ring. Mahabali Shera runs out and Ca$h heads for the back!

Omar Amir
is out. He says he wanted to take an opportunity to say how great it is to be the OVW Champion and to be able to perform in front of all the great fans of Louisville, KY! Jessie Godderz interrupts. He says he has been gone for 3 weeks and made a special flight to be here. He says he did not get the respect he deserved backstage. Ryan Howe interrupts with his guitar. Jessie tells him to go away, but Howe goes to the stage and starts playing some more interrupting Jessie from talking to Omar. After Howe finally leaves, Omar tells Jessie that he is here week in and week out busting his tail for this company. Jessie is supposed to be the face? Where's his face? In the sand? Is he wrestling crabs or something? He says he should not talk until he gets on his level! Omar leaves and Jessie says he is the reason everyone is in the seats. He is the best thing that OVW has ever seen. The next person that comes out, Jessie is going to take it out on!

National Champion "Mr. Pec-Tacular" Jessie Godderz vs. Damien Chambers.
Jessie attacks him on the apron and drags him in. He clubs Damien in the ropes and takes off his belt. The ref takes it away, but Jessie takes his shoe off and hits Damien in the head with it. He locks in the Adonis Crab for the tapout.
WINNER: GODDERZ by submission.

"The Fanny Pack Party"
: Dustin Jackson & "The Fanny Pack Kid" Kal Herro vs.
"The Legacy of Brutality": Steve Michaels & Big Zo (w/"The East End Villain" Josh Ashcraft).
Zo slings Kal to the corner, but runs into a boot. Kal tags Dustin. Dustin hits Zo and Steve tags in. Kal tags back in and they take Steve down for a 1 count. Steve rams Kal into the corner and Zo comes in with a headbutt and kicks Kal in the ribcage. Steve hits Kal in another corner, then tags Zo back in. They choke Kal and work him over in the corner. Dustin moves from a charge, but Rex recovers and clubs him down before he can make a tag. Adam tags in and hits Dustin and Rex tags back in and throws Adam into Dustin in the corner with a clothesline. Rex with a big vertical suplex for 2. The ref tries to keep Kal out as the Blonds choke Dustin in the ropes. Adam locks in a sleeper on Dustin. Rex tags in and goes for a chokeslam, but Dustin gets free and dropkicks Rex toward the corner. Adam tags in as does Kal. Kal puts the boots to Adam and Dustin hits the running boot for the 3. Rex chokeslams them both.
