OVW TV 1157: Luscious is Last!

 
This is the OVW Report for Thursday, October 14, 2021.

Tonight, the women of OVW are on full display once again as Dani Mo faces the returning Charlie Kruel, Arie Alexander goes up against GLAM, and Freya the Slaya goes 1-on-1 with the debuting Kolbe Max! The National Champion Jessie Godderz is back for in-ring action against Dustin Jackson of the Fanny Pack Party, Star Rider meets Paragon, OVW Tag Team Champions Dark Kloudz are in action, and much more!

PRE-SHOW:
AJ McKay is the ring announcer.

"The Nephilim"
 D'mone Solavino vs. "The Fanny Pack Kid" Kal Herro
.
D'mone locks him up from behind. Kal reverses and takes him to the mat. A couple more reverses. Kal rolls him over for 2. D'mone with a reverse headlock, then Kal reverses into an armlock. D'mone pulls him by his hair into the corner to get the break, then back elbows Kal. D'mone goes after the left knee. He kicks it and wraps it up in the ropes in the corner. Kal fires back and hits a sunset flip out of the corner for the 3.
WINNERS: KAL by pinfall.

"The Veteran"
 Jack Vaughn vs. Donovan "Bam Bam" Cecil.
They lock up into the corner. Clean break by Cecil, but Jack isn't happy and shoves Cecil. Off the ropes, Cecil hits a dropkick. He runs into a bionic elbow and Jack chops him in the corner. Cecil with a step up enziguri, but Jack takes him down and chokes him in the ropes. He chokes him in the corner and throws him to the opposite corner. Cecil leaps over him as he charges and fires away. He runs into a knee by Jack and Jack locks him up in the abdominal stretch. He uses the ropes for leverage. The ref kicks him off and Cecil tries for a hip toss. Jack shoves him off and hits a spinebuster. He hits him with a lariat to the back of the head and gets the 3.
WINNER: VAUGHN by pinfall.

"Flawless"
 Jake Lawless vs. Grayson Douglas Jr.
Jake locks Grayson up. Grayson reverses and Jake tells the ref to check his hair. He then pulls Grayson down by the hair. He throws him to the corner and Grayson leaps over and kicks Jake in the head. He rolls in and delivers a backdrop. He gets caught and set across the top rope and Jake chops him. Grayson fights back, but misses a charge to the corner. Jake with an uppercut and takes him down for 2. Grayson catches him with a flapjack and fires away. He hits a missile dropkick from the second turnbuckle and charges, but Jake avoids it. Jake connects with Crossroads for the 3.
WINNER: LAWLESS by pinfall.

OVW TV (HOUR 1):
Bryan Kennison & Shannon the Dude are on commentary, Eric Cornish is the ring announcer.

Paragon vs. 
"The Star of the Show" Star Rider.
Star locks him up. Paragon reverses. Some back and forth takedowns, then a dropkick by Star. Paragon focuses on and goes after the left arm of Star. He works it over on the ringpost and in the ropes. Star comes back and hits a knee to the face. He follows it up with the Five Star Frog Splash for the 3.
WINNER: STAR by pinfall.

Jared Kripke & ZDP vs. 
"Southern Discomfort": Jebidiah Blackhawk & Snake Williams Jr
.
Jared & ZDP try to attack from behind to get the upperhand, but that is the most offense they get in. Jeb & Snake control the match and put Jared away with a double chokeslam for the 3.
WINNERS: DISCOMFORT by pinfall.

We see Luscious Lawrence being interviewed in the back. He is interrupted by Haley J. She heard he paid for her to get out of jail from Tony Bizo. Luscious says you can't trust what he says, but then admits to doing it to help her out.

"The Rhinestone Cowgirl"
 GLAM vs. "Double A" Arie Alexander.
Arie gets the upperhand early. She hits GLAM in the corner and goes for the dive, but GLAM moves and gives her a cutter in the ropes. Arie comes back with a takedown and stands on GLAM's hair as she pulls up. GLAM comes back with a spinaround lariat to get the 3.
WINNER: GLAM by pinfall.

We see a video of Tony Gunn talking to Hy Zaya last week. He says he lost his temper and offers to allow Hy to hit him. Hy walks away.

Big Zo (w/"The East End Villain" Josh Ashcraft
) vs. "Shotgun" Tony Gunn.
Zo attacks Gunn, but runs into a double boot in the corner. Gunn with a side headlock. Off the ropes, Zo plows into Gunn. Gunn ducks a wild right and locks the side headlock back in. Off the ropes, Gunn plows into Zo and knocks him off balance. Zo gets up and shoves him. Gunn with the reverse DDT for 1! Off the ropes, Josh grabs Gunn's foot. Gunn chases him around ringside, but runs into Zo. Back inside, Zo hits the cartwheel butt bump and back elbows. Gunn fires back and hits a neckbreaker drop. Gunn knocks him down in the corner and runs in with a knee. Gunn sets up for the Killshot, but Josh gets in with a chair and cracks Gunn across the back. Zo slams him and Josh wraps the chair around Gunn's arm.
Hy Zaya runs out and makes the save. Gunn offers a handshake, then turns around to allow Hy to hit him with the chair. Hy throws it down and leaves the ring.
WINNER: GUNN by DQ.

Charlie Kruel vs. Dani Mo.
Kruel hits her in the corner, but misses a charge. Kruel headscissors her into the turnbuckle and hits a codebreaker. Dani comes roaring back with a barrage of kicks and nails a Twist of Fate for the 3.
WINNER: DANI by pinfall.
 
NON-TITLE MATCH: Dustin Jackson vs. National Heavyweight Champion "Mr. Pec-Tacular" Jessie Godderz.
They lock up and Jessie takes him to the mat. They exchange holds and Jessie goes for the press slam. Dustin slides off and rolls him up for 1. Jessie with a hard clothesline, but misses a charge. Dustin with a dropkick and cover for 1. Jessie takes him out of the ring and Dustin reverses a throw to the ringpost. Jessie stops himself, but turns into a super kick. He rolls him in and covers for 1. Dustin looks to go up top, but is slammed down. Jessie with a spear and a 3.
WINNER: GODDERZ by pinfall.
After the match, we see a ruckus backstage and it appears that Dark Kloudz attacked Kal Herro with a chair.

OVW TV (HOUR 2):
Bryan Kennison & Shannon the Dude are on commentary, Eric Cornish is the ring announcer.

Prince Ahmed vs. Reverend Ronnie Roberts.
Ronnie takes the fight to Ahmed and drops a knee. Ahmed rolls out, grabs Ronnie by the feet to pull him down, and rams Ronnie's left foot into the ringpost. He hangs him up in the tree of woe and dives in with a headbutt for 2. Ahmed with some kicks to the leg of Ronnie, but he is feeling the spirit. He clotheslines Ahmed and hits him with some rights. He slams him down from behind and hits a cutter off his shoulders. He hits the Mighty Right Hand and gets the 3.
WINNER: RONNIE by pinfall.

In the back, we see Al Snow talking about next week's mini-rumble for the vacated Heavyweight Title. He is interrupted by Facade, Luscious Lawrence, & Tony Bizo, who all want a shot at being the mini-rumble.

NON-TITLE MATCH: 
DC & Kimba vs. OVW Tag Team Champions "Dark Kloudz""Elusive" Eric Darkstorm & "Hustler" Deget Bundlez.
Kimba gets destroyed by Dark Kloudz with DC wanting in. They chop him, jump in and ram him, and Deget hits the suicide bomb as Eric dives in on him. Deget with a spinning neckbreaker. Kimba finally breaks loose to tag DC. He clotheslines Deget twice, but Deget doesn't fall down. He splashes him in the corner, then chagres, but Deget flies out and takes him down. DC tags back out and Kimba runs into the double team cutter for the 3.
WINNERS: DARK KLOUDZ by pinfall.

In the back, Facade, Luscious Lawrence, & Tony Bizo are still arguing over being in the mini-rumble. Ca$h Flo busts in and tries to pay off Al Snow, saying he was the one who put out the golden boy, Omar Amir, and also put out Mahabali Shera. Al Snow says they are supposed to show him why they should be in the mini-rumble in the ring, not his office!

In the back, Facade, Luscious Lawrence, Tony Bizo & Ca$h Flo are still arguing, then Arie Alexander comes in with an amp and Ryan Howe plays his way in. Al Snow says there will be a 6-man tag tonight. The winning team will definitely be in and the one who gets the pinfall or submission will be the last entrant!

"Killjoy"
Kolbe Max vs. "The Queen of the North" Freya the Slaya.
Kolbe goes at Freya, but gets taken down. She kicks at the leg, but Freya takes her down hard again. She hangs her up in the corner and delivers a cannonball. She runs into a double boot and Kolbe jumps on her back, but Freya rams her into the corner. She takes her down and covers, but pulls her up at 2. Kolbe slaps Freya, but runs into a big boot. Freya with a double-handed chokeslam for the 3. 
WINNER: FREYA by pinfall.

WINNING TEAM IS IN THE MINI-RUMBLE, THE ONE WHO SCORES THE PINFALL OR SUBMISSION GETS TO ENTER LAST: Ca$h Flo (w/"The East End Villain" Josh Ashcraft), "The Complete Package" Tony Bizo (w/Ricky Jones & Haley J), & "Rockstar" Ryan Howe vs. "The Neon Ninja" Facade, "The Hood Ninja" Hy Zaya, & Kentucky Heavyweight Champion "Mr. Juicy" Luscious Lawrence.
Quick action early. Howe tries to cover Luscious and the pin is broken by Ca$h. Bizo tags in and tries to hit Luscious and cover him, but is pulled off by Ca$h & Howe. As the 3 argue, Facade, Luscious, & Hy get in and attack them. Facade with a tornado DDT on Ca$h. He misses an enziguri and Ca$h stomps him. Howe tags in and covers for 2. They keep Facade grounded and away from his corner, but still fight each other over who wants to be in the ring and keep each other from making the pin. They start shoving and arguing again. Luscious & Hy help Facade up and they all dropkick their opponents out of the ring. Facade then flies out onto all 3 opponents. Howe & Bizo shove Luscious & Hy into the barricade. Back inside, Ca$h is working over Facade. Facade is once again in a bad way as he is being kept grounded and away from his corner. Facade comes back with an enziguri on Ca$h, then he makes the tag to Luscious. Luscious clotheslines everyone and powerslams Howe. He hits a fameasser on Ca$h. All 6 men get in the ring. They all hit their finishers on one another with Ca$h going up top after hitting Facade with the running cross body. Luscious shoves him off. Bizo with a Bizo Bottom for 2. Bizo knees Luscious in the face. Howe tags himself in and pounds Luscious on the mat. He covers, but Hy & Bizo both leap to break it up. As Ca$h & Bizo argue outside, Howe leaps on them both! Howe attacks Hy & Facade, then hits Bizo with his guitar. He goes to hit Luscious, but Luscious ducks and rolls him up for the 3!
WINNERS: LUSCIOUS, HY, & FACADE by pinfall.

This ended the TV taping.
