OVW Saturday Night Special November 2014 Quick Results

This is the OVW Saturday Night Special Report for Saturday, November 1, 2014.

Tonight, Melvin Maximus got his rematch for the OVW Heavyweight Title against Cliff Compton, the War Machine defended the OVW Southern Tag Team Titles against TerreMex, Timmy Danger fought Josh Ashcraft for title of senior official, Michael Hayes got another shot at Chris Silvio and the OVW Television Title, plus more!

Unfortunately, I was not able to attend tonight's show, so I only have the match results without any additional play-by-play. I heard this was a great show, so you definitely need to pick up a copy at the merchandise stand at the Davis Arena or online at ovwrestling.com.

Without further ado:

Here we go...

The Bodyguy def. Dylan Bostic.

SK Eveslage, Elvis Pridemoore, & Dapper Dan def. "Ram Jam" Jonathan Ramser & "The Wild Boyz": Eddie F. Diamond & "Party Starter" Bud Dwight.

Jessie Belle def. Rebel.

"Wrestling's Rockstar" Ryan Howe def. "The Pastor of Disaster" Rev. Stuart Miles in a pole match.

OVW SENIOR OFFICIAL: Timmy Danger def. Josh Ashcraft.

OVW TELEVISION TITLE MATCH: Michael Hayes def. Chris Silvio (c) to become NEW OVW TELEVISION CHAMPION.

OVW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH Cliff Compton (c) vs. "Mister Marvelous" Melvin Maximus goes to a double countout after Compton fell to the outside after a bearhug and Melvin could not get him back inside in time. Cliff was taken away on a stretcher.

OVW SOUTHERN TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: "TerreMex": Randy Terrez & the Mexicutioner def. "The War Machine": Eric Locker & Shiloh Jonze (c) to become NEW OVW SOUTHERN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS.

Michael Titus did show up (with the War Machine) and was stalked by Trailer Park Trash, Frank Miller. Titus left to the back and was followed by TPT, but there was no physical altercation.

Sounds like another great show! If you have never been to a Saturday Night Special and/or are not able to, make sure you pick up a copy Wednesday nights at the Davis Arena during the TV tapings, or order them online at the shop on ovwrestling.com!

As always, thanks for reading!

  1. While I understand OVW isn't taking much effort in looking for many more women for their company, I'm still baffled as to why of all the women that is still with them, their Champion hasn't appeared in any capacity in several month, possibly half a year even?

Rebel? Yes. Jessie Belle? Yes but will soon be done with retirement from what I've heard. Mary Elizabeth Monroe? Sure. Lei'D Tapa? Who? Oh right the champion... she's still champion?

  2. I was curious about that, too. Doesn´t the champion have to defend the title at certain intervals or be stripped of it?

    1. That is the usual routine, however Tapa has been working other promotions with the okay from OVW while they have been trying to get the division back in order. Even with appearances by Rebel, Jessie Belle, & Mary Elizabeth, they have not been regular appearances, only sporadic.

  3. Did Ryan get his guitar back?
