OVW TV #796: "Tearin' Through TPT"

This is the OVW Report for Wednesday, November 19, 2014. This episode can be seen online starting tomorrow at www.ovwrestling.com/tv. In this episode, the War Machine faces the Wild Boyz, Melvin Maximus is in action, a great match between Chris Silvio & Robbie Walker, the Congregation has another chance against TV Champion Michael Hayes, plus more!

Without further ado:

Here we go...

Pre-Show Dark Matches:

Timmy Danger vs. "Ram Jam" Jonathan Ramser.
A quick back and forth match that sees Danger throw Ram Jam off the ropes, Ram Jam ducks a swing, and comes back with a body press for the 3.
WINNER: RAM JAM by pinfall.

"The War Machine": Shiloh Jonze & Eric Locker vs. Elvis Pridemoore & Adam Wyld.
The War Machine attack Wyld & Elvis before the bell even rings, and throw Elvis from the ring. Elvis never gets tagged back in as the War Machine tear through Wyld and get the 3.
WINNERS: WAR MACHINE by pinfall.

That concludes tonight's pre-show dark matches. I always recommend watching the episode first on TV or online before reading the rest of the report. Again, you can check it out on OVW's official website late Thursday afternoon/evening at www.ovwrestling.com/tv and on WBNA ion-21 in the Louisville area Saturdays at 9AM and 10PM (check local listings).

Dean Hill & Gilbert Corsey are on commentary, and Shannon the Dude is the ring announcer.

The Congregation comes out and tonight's good word is 'chances'. Even though Jade didn't fulfill the prophecy of becoming TV champion, they have more chances. Tonight, the Apostle will get his chance to become TV champion.
OVW TELEVISION TITLE: "Apostle" Jake Glasure (w/"The Pastor of Disaster" Rev. Stuart Miles & "Altar Boy" Jade Dawson) vs. Michael Hayes (c).
Apostle swings wildly at Hayes, but Hayes ducks them all and chops and hits Apostle. Jade runs in the ring and distracts Hayes, and Apostle hammers Hayes from behind, but does not get much more offense in. Hayes fights back and hits the facebuster for the 3.
WINNER and STILL OVW TV CHAMPION: HAYES by pinfall.
The Congregation attacks Hayes after the match and Miles says that they still have another chance. Next week, he will face Hayes and take the OVW TV Title.

Deonta Davis (w/Leon Shelly) vs. "Rudo" Raul LaMotta.
Raul is still upset about his treatment. He chops Deonta, chokes him, and Leon gets on the apron. Deonta hits Raul from behind with the distraction, but Raul comes right back and puts Deonta away for the 3.
WINNER: RAUL by pinfall.

Dapper Dan vs. "Wrestling's Rockstar" Ryan Howe.
A back and forth match, but Howe knocks Dan into the ropes, jumps over and yanks his head across the ropes, and follows it up with the Chart Topper for the 3.
WINNER: HOWE by pinfall.

Leon Shelly (w/Deonta Davis) vs. "Mister Marvelous" Melvin Maximus.
Leon tries to attack Melvin, but goes off the ropes, and Melvin catches him in the Bearhug for the tapout and this one is over quick.
WINNER: MELVIN by submission.
Melvin grabs a mic and says again that he should be OVW Heavyweight Champion and says he shattered Cliff Compton's ribs. Adam Revolver once again comes out and says that Melvin only gets one rematch and if anyone deserves a shot, it's him. As a matter of fact, since Cliff might not even be able to defend the title, they should have a tournament and give him a bye, or Cliff could just hand him the title. Melvin grabs the mic and says how about they fight next week for the title.

"The Ultraviolent" Chris Silvio (w/Silvio Security Big Trevor & Mary Jane) vs. "Primetime" Robbie Walker.
This was an awesome match between these two. It went back and forth, and Walker tries several rollups, but Silvio kicked out. Walker went for a split-legged moonsault, but Silvio put his knees up. Silvio then hit a diamond cutter off the ropes. Walker kicked out. Silvio goes to grab him, but Walker hits the Cosmic Kick out of nowhere. Silvio falls to the outside. Trevor tries to help him up as Walker dives out on both of them. He rolls Silvio back in the ring, but Mary Jane distracts him. Walker turns into the rocket punch for the 3.
WINNER: SILVIO by pinfall.
There seems to be friction between Silvio & Mary Jane as Silvio yells at her, but they seem to make up before leaving the ring.

"The War Machine": Shiloh Jonze & Eric Locker (w/Michael Titus & Marcus Anthony) vs. "The Wild Boyz": Eddie F. Diamond & "Party Starter" Bud Dwight.
The match doesn't get too far in before Trailer Park Trash Frank Miller comes out after Michael Titus. Referee Josh Ashcraft jumps out and tries to stop him, but gets punched in the face.
WINNERS: WAR MACHINE by DQ.
Marcus Anthony attacks Trash from behind and Marcus & the War Machine beat Trash down. Titus, who was running around with an envelope, gets a mic. He says that he took the last pictures of Frank with his dead dad off his computer and erased the files. He pulls out pictures and rips them up, throwing them down on the fallen Trash. He blames Trash for the War Machine losing and not having the tag team titles, and says they are now even.

This ended the TV taping.

Post-Show Dark Matches:

"The Fabulous Free Bodies": The Bodyguy & Big Jon vs. Rump Thump & the Mexicutioner.
The Free Bodies work over Thump, but he gets a hot tag to Mex. Mex hits a big spinebuster on Bodyguy and tags Rump back in. Rump hits the Thump on Bodyguy as Mex hits Jon off the apron for the 3.
WINNERS: "MEXI-THUMP" by pinfall.

This episode of OVW TV will be up online tomorrow.

Next week, Melvin Maximus faces off with Adam Revolver. Will it be for a vacated OVW Heavyweight Title, or will Cliff Compton have something to say about it?

As always, thanks for reading!

    1. Must've been a temporary error. I've checked twice on two different computers and Lei'D Tapa and the Women's Title are still there.

  4. Michael Titus was caught messing with a company computer. Maybe I'm wrong, but isn't tampering with company property cause for termination?
