OVW TV #794: "Titus' Tirade"

This is the OVW Report for Wednesday, November 5, 2014. This episode can be seen online starting tomorrow at www.ovwrestling.com/tv. In this episode, Michael Hayes defends the OVW Television Title, Timmy Danger has something very important to say regarding senior official, TerreMex talks about their title win at SNS, plus more!

Without further ado:

Here we go...

Pre-Show Dark Matches:

Elvis Pridemoore vs. "Wrestling's Rockstar" Ryan Howe.
A back and forth match, but in the end, Howe gains momentum and connects with the Chart Topper for the 3.
WINNER: HOWE by pinfall.

J. Best vs. Rump Thump.
Rump comes out firing and hits a few armdrags. Best hits Rump's bad knee and works it over, but Rump fights back and hits the Thump for the 3.
WINNER: RUMP by pinfall.
Best attacks Rump after the match until the Assassin comes out. Best runs off as Assassin turns and helps Rump up. Rump then has Assassin dance with him.

That concludes tonight's pre-show dark matches. I always recommend watching the episode first on TV or online before reading the rest of the report. Again, you can check it out on OVW's official website late Thursday afternoon/evening at www.ovwrestling.com/tv and on WBNA ion-21 in the Louisville area Saturdays at 9AM and 10PM (check local listings).

Dean Hill & Gilbert Corsey are on commentary, and Shannon the Dude is the ring announcer.

"Primetime" Robbie Walker & Adam Wyld vs. "The War Machine": Shiloh Jonze & Eric Locker (w/Michael Titus).
The War Machine at Titus' command makes a beeline to the ring and ambushes Walker & Wyld. They totally annihilate them, with Locker hitting a big T-Bone suplex on Wyld for the 3.
WINNERS: WAR MACHINE by pinfall.
After the match, Titus gets a mic and goes on a tirade about having to be at SNS when he was fearful for his life. He says it was total "BS" and that Frank Miller will end up dead like his dead father. We then see a clip from behind the scenes at SNS where Titus is standing over Frank Miller who was apparently attacked by a chair. Titus says Frank will be dead thanks in large part to Marcus Anthony who is back.

Gilbert Corsey brings out the NEW OVW Southern Tag Team Champions, TerreMex. Randy Terrez says his shoulder is still sore, but they fought hard to win the titles not just for them, but their fans, their "familia". Gilbert mentions that they will have to defend the titles against the War Machine in a rematch next week. Terrez says that's fine, because they are fighting champions. This brings out the No Class Connection who says they deserve a shot. Mexicutioner speaks Spanish and apparently agrees to a match.
"No Class Connection": Leon Shelly & Deonta Davis vs. "TerreMex": Randy Terrez & the Mexicutioner.
The No Class Connection attacks TerreMex from behind. They work over the sore shoulder of Terrez until he finally gets the hot tag to Mexicutioner. Mex shoulder tackles Deonta, hits a samoan drop on Leon, and spears Deonta for the 1,2,3.
WINNERS: TERREMEX by pinfall.

"Ram Jam" Jonathan Ramser vs. "The Psychadelic Superstar" Chris Silvio (w/Silvio Security).
Silvio controls early and Ram Jam tries to come back with some kicks, but Silvio comes back and hits the Psychadelic Super Punch for the 3.
WINNER: SILVIO by pinfall.

Gilbert Corsey brings out the NEW Senior Official, Timmy Danger. Danger comes out dressed to compete. Danger says he wants to focus on being a wrestler and calls out Joe Wheeler. He says Joe has been around a long time and would like to give him his title of Senior Official.
Josh Ashcraft comes out and is unhappy about this. He says Timmy can't do that and says Joe is a senior citizen official, he can't be the senior official. Timmy does it anyway and Joe says he will let Josh referee Timmy's match next, but he will be watching and he better call it down the middle.
Dapper Dan vs. Timmy Danger.
Dan wears down Timmy for most of the match. Josh is calling things down the middle which aggravates Dan. Timmy tries to fight back, but is caught with the big german suplex for the 3.
WINNER: DAN by pinfall.

OVW TELEVISION TITLE: The Bodyguy (w/Big Jon) vs. Michael Hayes (c).
A lot of chain wrestling and submissions. Hayes gets distracted by Big Jon which allows Bodyguy to take advantage. Big Jon chokes Hayes as Bodyguy distracts the ref. The two exchange blows, but Hayes comes back strong, hitting a back elbow in the corner and a backdrop. Big Jon is on the apron again and grabs Hayes. Bodyguy goes to hit him, but Hayes moves. Bodyguy stops before he hits Jon, but turns around into the facebuster off the knee for the 3.
WINNER: HAYES by pinfall.

This ended the TV taping.

Post-Show Dark Matches:

The Congregation comes out and tonight's word is "redemption". They will get redemption after what happened at the Special and take it out on the Wild Boyz who are all about partying and drinking.
"The Congregation": "Apostle" Jake Glasure & "Altar Boy" Jade Dawson (w/"The Pastor of Disaster" Rev. Stuart Miles) vs. "The Wild Boyz": Eddie F. Diamond & "The Party Starter" Bud Dwight.
The Wild Boyz work over Jade with quick tags early, but distractions allow the Congregation to take advantage and work over EFD. EFD finally tags Dwight. Dwight clotheslines Jade and slams him face first into the mat. Jake runs in and gets an elbow, dropkick, and running high knee. Dwight tags EFD and throws him off the top rope splashing Jake for the 3.
WINNERS: WILD BOYZ by pinfall.

This episode of OVW TV will be up online tomorrow.

Next Wednesday night, OVW Southern Tag Titles on the line as TerreMex defends against former champions The War Machine!

As always, thanks for reading!

  1. Anyone think that big Jon will leave Bodyguy soon? These accidental hits and near misses usually ends up in a pair splitting up.

  2. I hope not , I would really like to see them move into the tag team division & feud w/ teramex since they're both about the same size & strength
