Without further ado:
Here we go...
Pre-Show Dark Matches:
"The Legacy of Brutality": Dapper Dan & Ca$h Flo (w/"The East End Villain" Josh Ashcraft) defeats Houdini & Big Zo. Ca$h hits Houdini and throws him into the corner. Houdini moves, and Ca$h crashes into the corner. Houdini arm drags and tags in Zo. Zo & Ca$h charge into each other and stay on their feet multiple times. Ca$h goes off the ropes again and Zo catches him with a spinning kick. Houdini comes back in and gets worked over. He is thrown to the outside where Josh beats on him. He makes a hot tag to Zo. Zo clotheslines Dan & Ca$h and slams Ca$h. He tags Houdini back in and launches him off the top rope, but Ca$h moves. Dan clotheslines Zo out of the ring, and Ca$h hits the Wall Street Crash on Houdini for the 3.
After the match, Josh says that was just awarm-up. He tells Jessie Belle that after tonight, she will learn why a woman should never stick her nose in a man's business!
Dean Hill comes out and says an acquaintance of his gave him an old chair that he had a good idea of what to do with. It's an old WWF chair that has Stone Cold, The Rock, Chris Jericho, Triple H, and others on it. He is going to raffle it off starting tonight, and the winner will be drawn at the Matt Cappotelli fundraiser. All ticket proceeds will benefit Matt's battle with cancer.
"Shotgun" Tony Gunn defeats "The Boy Wonder" Sam Thompson. Gunn with a lot of chain wrestling early. Sam gets in some quick pin attempts. Gunn with some shots and Sam fires back with some forearms. Gunn with an overhead belly-to-back suplex, and hits the reverse DDT for the 3.
"The River City Dragon" Logan James defeats Willie Cranium. Cranium with a side headlock. LJ breaks out and hits a nice dropkick and some kicks to the chest. Cranium headbutts him and takes control. LJ comes back with a kick, a takedown, and a running knee to the chin. He throws Cranium to the corner, but Cranium jumps up and hits a reverse cross body. Cranium goes up for a moonsault, but LJ moves. LJ hits him with a gut check, and then connects with the frog splash for the 3.
That concludes tonight's pre-show dark matches. I always recommend watching the episode first on TV or online before reading the rest of the report. Again, you can check it out on WBNA-21 in the Louisville area Saturdays at 11AM and 9PM (check local listings) and on OVW's official website Mondays at www.ovwrestling.com/ovw-media.html.
Gilbert Corsey, Ron Hed, & Dr. Ted McNaler are on commentary, and Ron is the ring announcer.
He tries to put Tyler through it from the apron, but Tyler kicks him in the head and puts Adam on the table. The table breaks under Adam's weight, but Tyler goes up anyway and hits a flying elbow drop to the floor. Both men are injured and unable to continue, so it's considered a no-contest.
Cali & the OVW Southern Tag Team Champions "The Winter Swoldier" Adam Slade & Kevin Giza defeat OVW Television Champion David Lee Lorenze III, OVW Women's Champion Jaylee, & "The Real Deal" Randall Floyd defeats. Giza takes a lot of punishment early. Randall is in control, but David wants in. He tells Randall to slam him on Giza, but Giza puts his knees up. Randall says David wanted in, and refuses to tag. David tries to grab Giza's foot, but he tags Cali. Jaylee runs in, but Cali hits her and hits a flying body press. She fires away, and David grabs Cali's foot. Jaylee tries to roll her up, but Cali reverses and gets the 3, while Slade & Giza take David down on the outside.
After the match, David shoves Randall and says it's all his fault. Randall shoves David on his butt and says he wanted in. David says he's a bodyguard, and if he ever wants another shot at the TV Title, he better listen to him.
Gilbert Corsey talks about the Matt Cappotelli fundraiser on September 23.
He reminds everyone that Jim Cornette and former OVW Heavyweight Champion Rocco Bellagio are returning that night, plus the big name from OVW's past that will return is "Mr. High Octane", "Mr. 200%",
Jamin Olivencia! Michael Hayes comes out and says he isn't a hypocrite, when he says he will do something, he shows it with his actions. He doesn't hide behind a "like" or "share" button on social media. Gilbert questions if he is going to face Jamin and use the match he won at War Games. Hayes says he doesn't want to, and starts to talk about Big Jon.
Jon hits the ring and takes it to Hayes. He goes for the chokeslam, but Tony Gunn comes out and hits Jon from behind.
They double team Jon for a moment until Justin Smooth runs out and chases them out.
"Holy Water": "The Pastor of Disaster" Rev. Stuart Miles & Billy Oceans defeat "The Bro Godz": Colton Cage & Dustin Jackson. Stu & Billy take it to Dustin early. They hit a combo side slam and legdrop. Colton comes in and is worked over as well until Stu is kicked in the back by Dustin as he goes off the ropes. Dustin hits Stu on the outside as Colton distracts the ref. The Bros double team Stu in the corner and then on the outside as the ref has to hold Billy back in his corner. Aloicious Hamilton comes to ringside to argue with the Bros and distract them, allowing Stu to roll up Dustin for the 3.
Tyler Matrix & Adam Revolver come back to ringside brawling with one another. Matrix brings out the table from earlier, and sets it up in the corner.
He charges at Adam, but Adam pulls referee Stephon Smith in the way and Stephon gets smashed through the table. Dean Hill comes out and says they will apparently keep going until one of them can no longer stand. So Dean Hill's law says they will have a last man standing match at the next Saturday Night Special for the OVW Heavyweight Title.
"Bad Girl" Jessie Belle (w/"The Bad Boys Club": Randy Royal & Shane Andrews) defeats "The East End Villain" Josh Ashcraft (w/"The Legacy of Brutality": Ca$h Flo & Dapper Dan). Jessie goes after Josh and fires away. Dan & Ca$h try to interfere, but the ref throws them out. Shane trips Josh up, and Shane & Randy get thrown out. Josh splashes Jessie in the corner. He tells her to kiss his boot, but she slaps him in the face, then again, and one more for good measure. Ca$h & Dan come back out, but Randy & Shane come back out and take them down. While the ref is distracted, Jessie kicks a field goal below the belt of Josh. She goes up top and hits a big splash for the 3.
This ended the TV taping.
