This is the OVW Report for the October 7, 2017 Saturday Night Special!

Tonight:

-Tyler Matrix defends the OVW Heavyweight Title against Adam Revolver in a last man standing match!

-Justin Smooth & Big Jon face Michael Hayes & Tony Gunn in a tag team street fight!

-Adam Slade & Kevin Giza defend the OVW Southern Tag Team Titles against the Void!

-Stephon Smith faces Apollo in a "ref vs. wrestler" grudge match!

-Rev. Stu defends the OVW Television Title against Logan James, David Lee Lorenze III, & Randall Floyd in a Fatal 4 Way!

Your announcers for tonight are Dr. Ted McNaler & Gilbert Corsey, and KC is ring announcer.

"The Bro Godz": Colton Cage & Dustin Jackson vs. "Team Billyocious": Billy O & Aloicious Hamilton.

Colton with a side headlock on Billy. Billy back with a side headlock. Colton throws him off the ropes, and Billy back with a shoulder tackle, hip toss, big slam, and a dropkick. Colton tags Dustin in. Billy tags Alo. Alo hip tosses Dustin and gives him a big slam. He hits the slingblade, then abig spinebuster. Colton breaks up a pin. Alo tags Billy, and they faceplant Dustin. Billy pins for 2. Colton causes a distraction and fake tags. He hits Billy from behind and locks in a headlock. He clubs Billy in the back and hits him in the corner. He tags Dustin. Dustin shoves Colton into Billy, then delivers a dropkick. Colton tags back in and hits Billy in the ribcage. He locks in a headlock and tags Dustin. Colton hits a side slam and they deliver a foot-ballin' elbow. Off the ropes, Billy ducks a clothesline and delivers one to Dustin. Both men are down and tag out. Alo fires away on Coloton and Dustin grabs him from the outside. Alo shoves Colton into Dustin, knocking Dustin off the apron. Alo corners Colton, but Colton hits him in the throat and stomps him in the corner. Billy hits Colton from behind and throws him out of the ring. Dustin hits Billy from behind and goes up for an "el-bro" drop, but Alo knocks him off the top and to the floor. Colton hits Alo from behind and sets up for the scissor kick, but Alo moves and hits a slingblade for the 3!

WINNERS: BILLY & ALO.

Apollo "Showtime" Garvin vs. "Rump Thump" Stephon Smith.

Stephon goes right after Apollo and fires away. Stephon has him cornered, but the ref tells him to get back. Apollo hits him from behind and rakes his face across the top rope. He clubs Stephon in the chest and kicks him in the face. Stephon starts to fire back, but Apollo rakes his eyes. Apollo with a big slam and a neckbreaker. Apollo throws him in the corner, but Stephon puts up a boot. Stephon with a clothesline, then another. He hits a running knee, but then Apollo avoids a Rump Thump and delivers a DDT. He pulls off the top turnbuckle, and as the ref fixes it, pulls brass knucks out of his boot. He goes to hit Stephon, but Stephon ducks and hits the Rump Thump. Stephon gets the 3, but Apollo places the knucks in Stephon's tights during the pin. Apollo tells the ref that he got hit with the knucks, and the ref finds the knucks on Stephon. The decision is reversed.

WINNER: APOLLO by DQ.

Gilbert Corsey brings out Big Jon & Justin Smooth to ask them about their street fight. Tony Gunn interrupts and gets their attention for Michael Hayes to run out and attack from behind. Jon & Smooth take control and say how about we do this right now!

TAG TEAM STREET FIGHT: Michael Hayes & "Shotgun" Tony Gunn vs. "The Trinidad Titan" Justin Smooth & Big Jon.

Hayes takes Jon down and beats him with a kendo stick. Jon gets back up and blocks it. He slams Hayes on a bowlful of candy corn that Hayes brought in the ring. Gunn & Smooth have fought to the back. Smooth comes back out with a bicycle kick. He hits him in the back with a cooking tray. Gunn & Hayes regain control with low blows and double suplex Jon on several cooking trays. Gunn blasts Smooth in the back with a guitar.

Jon & Smooth regain control and take Hayes down. They go for a double chokeslam on Gunn, but he fires out and hits Smooth & Jon, but accidentally fires away and hits Hayes. Hayes gets mad and walks out, leaving Gunn to get speared by Jon. Smooth then hits Gunn with Street Justice for the 3.
WINNERS: SMOOTH & JON by pinfall.

OVW WOMEN'S TITLE MATCH: Cali vs. Jaylee (w/David Lee Lorenze III) (c).

Cali is on fire, taking down Jaylee and knocking her out of the ring. David gets on the apron and Cali smacks him. David gets in the ring and the ref throws him out of the contest. Jaylee hits Cali from behind and takes advantage. She hits a side slam and a splash in the corner. Cali fires back and hits an x-factor, but Jaylee kicks out at 2. Cali throws her in the corner, but runs into a back elbow. Jaylee clotheslines her and goes for asupelx, but Cali reverses into an inside cradle for 2. Jaylee comes back with a big DDT for the 3!

WINNER and STILL OVW WOMEN'S CHAMPION: JAYLEE by pinfall.

OVW TELEVISION TITLE FATAL 4 WAY MATCH: David Lee Lorenze III (w/Jaylee) vs. "The River City Dragon" Logan James vs. "The Real Deal" Randall Floyd vs. "The Pastor of Disaster" Rev. Stuart Miles (c).

A very fast-paced match. LJ hits Stu with a kick to the head, but the pin is broken by Floyd. Stu hits David with the Holy Trinity of chops and a be healed. LJ kicks David several times off the apron for Floyd & Stu to stand him back up.

They finally pull him off and LJ goes diving onto all of them. David shoves LJ into Jaylee on the apron. David goes for a russian leg sweep and Floyd spears them both. Floyd goes for a superplex in the corner. Stu gets underneath and LJ jumps on and we have a double suplex powerbomb out of the corner. Several near falls, but Stu is knocked out of the ring. Floyd is down and David goes for a move on LJ. LJ reverses it into a huge DDT. He goes up for the frog splash, connects, and gets the 3! LJ definitely stood out as a star in this match!
WINNER and NEW OVW TV CHAMPION: LJ by pinfall.

FUTURE OVW TELEVISION TITLE SHOT (E-TOWN OCT. 21) GAUNTLET MATCH: Ca$h Flo (w/"The East End Villain" Josh Ashcraft) vs. "Livewire" KTD.

Ca$h powers KTD down early, but misses a charge in the corner. Off the ropes, Ca$h catches KTD with a big chop. Ca$h hits the Wall Street Crash for the 3.

Ca$h Flo (w/"The East End Villain" Josh Ashcraft) vs. "The Boy Wonder" Sam Thompson.

Sam goes after Ca$h and hits a kick to the gut, but like before, Ca$h catches Sam with a big chop. Ca$h hits the Wall Street Crash for the 3.

Ca$h Flo (w/"The East End Villain" Josh Ashcraft) vs. Willie Cranium.

Cranium catches Ca$h with a couple shots, but Ca$h catches him with a slam and 2 big chops. Ca$h hits the Wall Street Crash for the 3.

Ca$h Flo (w/"The East End Villain" Josh Ashcraft) vs. Houdini.

Houdini tries to use his speed, but it's not enough. Ca$h hits the Wall Street Crash for the 3.

Ca$h Flo (w/"The East End Villain" Josh Ashcraft) vs. Damion.

Damion tries to stomp on Ca$h's feet and bite him, but Ca$h chops him and hits the Wall Street Crash for the 3.

Ca$h Flo (w/"The East End Villain" Josh Ashcraft) vs. Big Zo.

Zo goes after Ca$h and takes him down with a big slam. He goes for the Zo bomb, but Ca$h puts his knees up. Ca$h connects with the Wall Street Crash for 3.

Ca$h Flo (w/"The East End Villain" Josh Ashcraft) vs. Dapper Dan (w/"The East End Villain" Josh Ashcraft).

Josh says either way, they win. He says the Legacy is family. Dan attacks Ca$h and fires away on him. After some back and forth, Dan gets a rollup on Ca$h with his feet on the ropes for the 3.

WINNER: DAPPER DAN by pinfall.

OVW SOUTHERN TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: "The Void": Chace Destiny & "The Prince of Darkness" Jade Dawson (w/Damion) vs. "The Top Guyz": Kevin Giza & "The Winter Swoldier" Adam Slade (c).

Before the bell actually rings, Damion & Chace hide under the ring. They ambush Giza & Slade as they run around the ring. Damion & Chace hold Slade's arm against the ringpost as Jade hits it with Slade's shield.

Dr. McNaler tries to keep Slade from getting in the ring and hurting himself further. Meanwhile, Giza gets worked over and double-teamed by Jade & Chace. Slade finally shoves McNaler down and says he's fighting whether he likes it or not. Slade finally tags in and fires away on Chace & Jade. He hits a belly-to-belly on Chace, but his shoulder is hurting. Chace hits a finish, and Jade hits the snap DDT, but Giza breaks the pin. Giza charges at Damion on the apron, but Damion pulls the rope down and Giza falls to the floor. Chace charges at Slade, but Slade moves, and Chace spears Damion off the apron. Slade turns and hits Jade with their double team finisher with Giza for the 3!

WINNERS and STILL OVW SOUTHERN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: TOP GUYZ.
After the match, we get a victory lap from the Top Guyz!

OVW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Adam Revolver (w/World Heavyweight Radio Champion Shannon the Dude) vs. "The Young Lion" Tyler Matrix (c).

Both men go right after each other and exchange blows. Tyler with a flurry of fists. Adam goes down, but gets up at 4. STD throws in a trash can. Adam goes for a powerbomb, but Tyler flips over and flips Adam over the top rope. He kicks him in the head. Tyler picks up the trash can and launches it out onto Adam's head. Tyler goes out and goes to hit Adam again, but STD hits him in the back. Tyler turns his attention away and Adam throws the can into Tyler's back. They fight on the outside and Tyler gets hit below the belt. Adam locks in a sleeper around the ringpost.

The ref counts to 8, but Tyler gets up. Adam rolls him in the ring after kicking his knee and hits both legs on the ringpost. Adam tries to duct tape Tyler's legs, but he kicks him off. STD then tries, but Tyler pulls him into the ringpost and duct tapes STD to the post. Adam grabs a chair and hits Tyler from behind. He hits Tyler across the back, then puts each limb in the chair and stomps on it. He then puts his head in it and stomps it several times. Tyler gets up, and ducks a chair shot. Tyler kicks him in the gut and hits him across the back with the chair. He lays Adam on the chair and goes up top. Tyler connects with the swanton!

Adam gets up at 9 and hits Tyler with the russian leg sweep. Adam grabs some cable wire and chokes Tyler with it. Tyler goes down and the ref starts the count. Tyler gets up just before 10 and Adam tries to lock in the sleeper. Tyler gets the wire around Adam's neck and chokes him and locks in a sleeper against Adam using his move! Adam goes out and the ref starts the count. Adam stirs a bit at 8, but can't get up!

WINNER and STILL OVW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: MATRIX.

After the match, STD keeps running his mouth while tied around the ringpost. Tyler goes over and grabs more duct tape and sticks some across STD's mouth!

Before he leaves, Ted McNaler starts running his mouth saying he's not a real champion and that Adam had that won, and Tyler gives him a super kick!
