This is the OVW Report for Wednesday, October 18, 2017. This episode can be seen on WBNA-21 in the Louisville area on Saturday at 11AM and 9PM, and online at www.ovwrestling.com/ovw-media.html. In this episode, the new TV champion Randall Floyd defends against former champion Logan James, Tyler Matrix is in a handicap match, friction continues within the Legacy of Brutality, plus more!

Pre-Show Dark Matches:
"Shotgun" Tony Gunn defeats Eric Wayne. Wayne with a chop and some quick shoulder tackles. Gunn moves a charge and throws Wayne to the outside. Gunn comes off the apron with an elbow to the head. He rolls Wayne in and kicks him in the head. He chops him, but it only angers Wayne, and he delivers 2 big chops back. Off the ropes, Gunn catches him with a clothesline. He throws him in the corner, hits him out, and goes up top. He delivers a flying knee to the head for 2. He hits a seated clothesline and then delivers some lefts. Wayne starts to fire back with a clothesline, boot, and faceplant. He hits a cannonball in the corner and delivers a suplex with bridge for 2. Gunn comes back and connects with the reverse DDT for the 3.
Dapper Dan (w/"The East End Villain" Josh Ashcraft & Ca$h Flo) defeats "Livewire" KTD. Dan locks up with KTD into the corner. KTD comes back with a dropkick and goes after Dan in the corner, but runs into a boot and some clubbing blows. KTD tries to leap over a charging Dan in the corner, but Dan grabs him and powerslams him. He clubs KTD in the chest. KTD back with some kicks to the leg. He goes for a hurricanrana, but Dan powerbombs him for 2. He throws him outside, and Josh hits him. KTD comes back with some kicks again, but misses a charge in the corner. Dan hits him with the Death Valley Driver for the 3.

Dr. Ted McNaler, Mike Lacett, & Gilbert Corsey are on commentary, and Gilbert is the ring announcer.
"The Pastor of Disaster" Rev. Stuart Miles defeats Ca$h Flo (w/"The East End Villain" Josh Ashcraft & Dapper Dan). Stu with some early offense, and a back body drop. Josh gets on the apron, allowing Ca$h to hit him from behind. Ca$h throws him to the outside twice, but both times Dan rolls Stu back in without hitting him. Ca$h chops him hard 3 times in the corner. Stu with the Holy Trinity of chops, and a be healed. He splashes Ca$h in the corner, then misses another, and Ca$h with another chop. Ca$h goes to suplex Stu in from the apron, but Dan trips Ca$h up and holds his foot down for Stu to get the 3!
After the match, Ca$h tries to figure out what happened and asks the crowd who did it. He asks Dan, but he denies it.
OVW TELEVISION TITLE MATCH: "The River City Dragon" Logan James defeats "The Real Deal" Randall Floyd (c). A quick back and forth opening. Floyd hits a big powerslam and locks in a headlock. LJ back with a chinbuster and some flying forearms, but runs into a clothesline that turns him inside out for 2. Floyd goes off the ropes and LJ catches him with a dropkick. Both men are down. They exchange blows as they get to their feet. LJ hits the pele kick and a big DDT for 2. LJ goes up for the frog splash. Floyd moves, but LJ lands on his feet. He hits the gut check and connects with the frog splash for the 3! LJ is champ again!
"The Trinidad Titan" Justin Smooth defeats Apollo "Showtime" Garvin. Apollo goes right after Smooth, but Smooth comes back with a big clothesline. Smooth with a big slam, but then Apollo pulls him down in the turnbuckle. Apollo gets in some shots, but Smooth comes back with the bicycle kick. On the outside, Shannon the Dude is making Mike Lacett move from "his" commentary spot and Big Jon comes out to chase STD out of the spot and around the ring.
Smooth is distracted, and Apollo rolls him up from behind. He has his feet on the ropes, but referee Stephon Smith kicks them off. Apollo gets in Stephon's face, and Smooth gets back up and hits Street Justice for the 3.
After the match, Jon chases STD into the ring and STD gets trapped between Jon & Smooth. Jon rips STD's shirt off and delivers 2 big chops to him.
OVW SOUTHERN TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: "The Winter Swoldier" Adam Slade & Kevin Giza (c) vs. Billy O & Aloicious Hamilton ends in a no-contest. A quick back and forth match. Slade & Giza hit some dives to the outside. Alo & Slade are in the ring competing and Slade gets taken down. With Alo waiting for Slade to get up, the masked man from last week comes out and knocks him out with the chain.
Billy comes in with a chair and the masked man points at the chain and walks away.
"The Young Lion" Tyler Matrix defeats "The Bro Godz": Colton Cage & Dustin Jackson (w/Jaylee). Tyler takes it to Dustin early, but Jaylee gets on the apron, and Dustin takes advantage. Colton splashes him in the corner and Dustin hits a beautiful dropkick. They hit the Bro 69 elbow, but Tyler kicks out at 2. Tyler goes to fly out, but Colton gets in the way and Tyler spears him off the apron. Tyler goes to fly out again, but Dustin gets back in and takes him down. Colton is in and Tyler kicks him in the face. Tyler hits Colton in the corner and kicks Dustin off the apron. Tyler goes for rolling thunder on Colton as Dustin grabs him for a powerbomb, but Tyler reverses into a hurricanrana. He hits rolling thunder on Colton and then has them both set up for a double swanton bomb for the 3.
After the match, Michael Hayes runs out and attacks Tyler, but he is able to fight him off. A cameraman then jumps in the ring and rips off his disguise to reveal that it's David Lee Lorenze III. David kicks Tyler below the belt from behind and then hits the Director's Cut.
This ended the TV taping.
Post-Show Dark Matches:
When Cali has control and looks like she is about to take the win, Jaylee runs out and stomps her to break a pin and cause the DQ.
