OVW SNS #96: A Night of Anarchy

This is the OVW Report for the November 3, 2018 Saturday Night Special!

Tonight:

-Shiloh Jonze defends the Anarchy Title against Tommy Dreamer!

-The War Kings (Crimson & Jax Dane) face the Bro Godz (Dustin Jackson & Colton Cage) for the Southern Tag Team Titles!

-Jaylee defends the Women's Title against Meg Munroe!

-The Void & Amon go up against TV Champion Eddie Knight & Michael Hayes!

-Plus more!

Your announcers for tonight are Gilbert Corsey & Dr. Ted McNaler, and Brittany & Mercy are ring announcers.

"The Boy Wonder" Sam Thompson vs. "The Real Deal" Randall Floyd.

They lock up and exchange side headlocks and wristlocks. Floyd drops Sam and goes for the crab, but Sam rolls him up for 2. Sam with some big forearm shots, but Floyd knees him hard in the gut. Off the ropes, Sam with a forearm shot. Off the ropes again, Floyd goes for the Deal Breaker, but Sam slides off and hits an enziguri. He goes for a jumping DDT, but Floyd sits him on the top rope. Sam hits him off, but jumps off and is caught by Floyd. Floyd with a back body drop. He throws Sam off the ropes and hits a beautiful dropkick. Floyd locks Sam up and Sam fights up, but gets kneed in the gut. Off the ropes, Sam holds on and Floyd misses a dropkick. Sam jumps at Floyd, but Floyd goes for the crab. Sam reverses and locks in an STF. Floyd reverses into a pin for 2. Sam with forearm shots off the ropes and a dropkick. He hits the jumping DDT. Sam goes up top and hits a flying body press. He goes for the Duck Call, but Floyd throws him off. He connects with the Deal Breaker to get the 3!
WINNER: FLOYD by pinfall.

8-MAN TAG MATCH: William Lutz, "Shotgun" Tony Gunn, & "The Hernandez Brothers": Christian & Drew vs. Dimes, Brandon Wolfe, & "Kings Ransom": Leonis & Maximus Khan.

Wolfe & Gunn start, and Wolfe plows over Gunn off the ropes. Dimes comes in and arm drags Gunn. Lutz tags in and is taken down as well. Leonis tags in and Lutz hits him, but off the ropes, Maximus blind tags, flips in and hits the jumping clothesline. He goes off the ropes, but Gunn trips him up. He gets worked over in the corner with Drew, then Gunn shouldering him. Maximus works his way to the corner, but the ref doesn't see Leonis tag. Gunn drives him back to his corner. Maximus fights out of the corner and Lutz & Leonis are both tagged. Lutz kicks Leonis, but gets taken down with a spinning clothesline. Gunn breaks a pin, then throws Leonis into the ringpost. All 8 men end up in the ring one after another. It ends with Kings Ransom dumping the Hernandez Brothers out of the ring, then hitting Kings Landing on Lutz for the 3.

WINNERS: DIMES, WOLFE, & KINGS RANSOM by pinfall.

BGB comes out and says he has been out injured for 64 days, but has been helping out with the community behind the scenes. He is helping with the Salvation Army angel tree and encourages everyone to help out if they can.

GAUNTLET MATCH: Ashton Cove vs. "Livewire" KTD.

They lock up. Cove throws KTD hard in the corner, but misses a charge. KTD rolls him up for 2. Cove slams him for 2. KTD rolls him up in an inside cradle for 2. KTD with a perfect plex for the 3.
WINNER: KTD by pinfall.

GAUNTLET MATCH: The Mexicutioner vs. "Livewire" KTD.

Mexicutioner throws KTD off the ropes and delivers a massive spear for the 3.
WINNER: MEX by pinfall.

GAUNTLET MATCH: The Mexicutioner vs. Big Zo.

Zo takes Mex out with a slam and connects with the Zo bomb for the 3.
WINNER: ZO by pinfall.

GAUNTLET MATCH: "The Vet" Apollo vs. Big Zo.

Apollo comes out firing away. He slaps Zo and stomps him. He runs off the ropes, but right into Zo's arms for a big slam and Zo gets the 3.
WINNER: ZO by pinfall.

WOMEN'S TITLE MATCH: Meg Munroe vs. Jaylee (w/"The It Girls": Cali & Valerie Vermin) (c).
Meg finally gets a hold of Jaylee after she skips around the ring. She suplexes her in from the apron despite Cali & Val trying to interfere. She gets Jaylee up in the long-standing vertical suplex, but Val causes a distraction that allows Cali to hit Meg from behind and break it up. Meg with a dropkick and a big slam. She gets distracted by Cali on the apron and Jaylee jumps on her back. Meg slings her off and hits a Samoan drop. She hits the spear, but Cali has the ref distracted. Val slithers in, but gets clotheslined. As Meg goes after Cali, Jaylee rolls her up from behind and puts her feet on the ropes to get the 3.
WINNER and STILL OVW WOMEN'S CHAMPION: JAYLEE by pinfall.

Amon & "The Void": Chace Destiny, Nigel Winters, & Houdini vs. OVW Television Champion Eddie Knight & Michael Hayes.

Amon clubs Eddie down hard to start out. He then licks his face. Eddie fires back, but Amon hits him into the turnbuckle. Eddie reverses and hits Amon into the turnbuckle. Amon keeps doing it to himself and clubs Eddie down. Nigel tags in, but Eddie hip tosses him and tags Hayes. Hayes hits him and licks Nigel! He slams him and tags Eddie back in. Eddie hits a reverse hip toss, but Amon runs in and hits him from behind. Nigel clubs him in the back and forearms him. He snapmares him and locks in a chinlock. Eddie works out of it and slams Nigel. He runs off the ropes, but Amon pulls him down by the hair. Houdini tags in and Eddie slams him and hits a legdrop. Eddie goes up top, but Amon slams him off. Things break loose as all 6 men are in the ring. Chace tags in and goes for a pumphandle slam on Eddie, but he flips over and tags Hayes. Hayes takes out Chace and the rest of the Void. Amon runs in, but eats a boot and then a super kick from Eddie. Eddie dives out on Amon, Chace, & Houdini. Hayes hits the facebuster off the knee to Nigel for the 3!

WINNERS: HAYES & EDDIE by pinfall.

RIVALRY RENEWED: Adam Revolver (w/Dr. Ted McNaler) vs. "Mister Marvelous" Melvin Maximus.

They lock up, but Melvin flings Adam across the ring. Off the ropes, Melvin plows Adam down. He rolls out to take a time out with Ted. Adam wants a test of strength. Adam goes to kick him, but Melvin grabs his foot. Adam offers a handshake and Melvin grabs and squeezes it. He slams Adam hard. Ted gets on the apron and says he has a herniated disc. Melvin goes to grab him and Adam takes out the knee from behind. Adam works over the left knee, and Ted twists it up in the ropes from the outside as well. Melvin tries to stand, but Adam kicks the knee out from under him. He hits it off the side of the ring apron. Adam goes for the Figure Four, but Melvin hits him in the face. He tries again, but Melvin rolls him up in an inside cradle for 2. Adam tries again and finally locks it in. Ted provides additional leverage from the outside. The ref finally catches him and kicks their hands apart. Melvin turns the Figure Four over. Melvin shoulders Adam in the corner and clotheslines him hard in the other. He hits a second clothesline. Off the ropes, Melvin hits a powerslam. He locks in the bearhug. Ted runs in and hits Melvin to cause a DQ. Melvin grabs Ted, but Adam low blows him from behind.
WINNER: MELVIN by DQ.

SOUTHERN TAG TEAM TITLES: "The War Kings": Jax Dane & Crimson vs. "The Bro Godz": Dustin Jackson & Colton Cage (c).
War Kings attack as the Bros enter and pose. The Bros reverse throws off the ropes and take the Kings down. Colton goes to dive out, but gets hit by the Kings. Dustin then jumps off the top and takes them both out. The Kings take control, but Colton fights back and tags Dustin. They spell out "BRO", but then Crimson double clotheslines them. Crimson throws Colton hard into the barricade twice on the outside. Back inside, Jax chops Colton hard and Crimson clotheslines him down. The Kings work Colton over and Crimson drops him with a neckbreaker for 2. They exchange shots and Colton connects with the sideburn effect. Both men tag and Dustin dropkicks Jax and clotheslines him in the corner. He goes for a splash, but Jax catches him and hits an overhead belly to back suplex. Dustin back with a dropkick and top rope splash for 2. Crimson breaks it up and pulls Colton out. Dustin is going up top again, but Jax hits the ropes. He gets him on his shoulders and Crimson gets back in. They hit the Off With Their Heads on Dustin for the 3!
WINNERS and NEW OVW SOUTHERN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: WAR KINGS by pinfall.

ANARCHY TITLE SPECIAL REFEREE MATCH: "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer vs. "The King of the Streets" Shiloh Jonze (w/Big D) (c).
Shiloh says since he's the champion, he gets to pick the stipulation. Since he can't trust any of the referees here, he can only trust one man to do the job. The special referee is DL3. DL3 keeps blowing a whistle and stopping Dreamer from taking control against Shiloh. Shiloh hits Dreamer from behind and hits him with a cookie sheet. Shiloh hits a rocket punch, then sets up a sheet of wood in the corner. He sprays him in the face with silly string. Dreamer hits him and DL3 blows the whistle again. Dreamer hits him with a cutter, then delivers a Death Valley Driver on the wood with Shiloh. He uses DL3's hand to make the 3!
