This is the OVW Report for Wednesday, November 7, 2018. This episode can be seen on WBNA-21 in the Louisville area on Saturday at 11AM and 9PM, and online at OVW TV. In this episode, a major announcement about the next "Special", the "It Girls" pick on their next target, Eddie Knight defends the TV Title, plus more!

Without further ado:

Here we go...

Pre-Show Dark Matches:

Big Zo defeats "USK" SK Eveslage. Zo with some "tae kwan Zo" to scare SK into the corner. Zo hits a big hip toss, a roundhouse kick, and a splash. He goes for a super kick, but SK moves and Zo gets caught up on the top turnbuckle. SK kicks his leg out from under him and works him over. He locks in a sleeper, then drops a USK elbow for only a 1 count. Zo reverses a throw to the corner and splashes SK. He splashes him in the opposite corner, then super kicks him. He hits the cartwheel butt bump and back elbows, then a fall away slam. He hits a cartwheel splash and gets the 3.

Valerie Vermin (w/"It Girls": Cali & Women's Champion Jaylee) defeats Brittany Garcia. Val is on the run, but Brittany finally gets a hold of her. Val pops her with a forearm to the face, but Brittany takes her down and goes for the pin, but the It Girls pull her out. Brittany goes after them, but Val hits her from behind. Brittany regains control, taking Val down and locking her in a Boston crab. Jaylee rings the bell, confusing and distracting Brittany. Val recovers to roll Brittany up with a handful of tights for the 3.

DL3 comes out and says you have to treat people better and Shiloh Jonze is down after losing his title to Tommy Dreamer on Saturday.
Shiloh Jonze (w/Big D & DL3) defeats Christian Hernandez. Hernandez ducks an early attack and hits a beautiful belly-to-back suplex. He hits an atomic drop, then an inverted atomic drop. He fights off interference from Big D & DL3. Shiloh hits a spinning kick that dazes him for a brief moment. Hernandez regains control and looks to be going for a powerslam, but another distraction allows Shiloh to slide off and connect with a rocket punch right on the chin for the 3.

Josh Ashcraft is out to ask if the fans missed him. He says don't forget about him, he will be back gracing us with his presence very, very soon.

That concludes tonight's pre-show dark matches. I always recommend watching the episode first on TV or online before reading the rest of the report. Again, you can check it out on WBNA-21 in the Louisville area Saturdays at 11AM and 9PM (check local listings) and on OVW's official website Mondays at OVW TV.

Gilbert Corsey, Shannon the Dude, & Dr. Ted McNaler are on commentary, and Mercy & Brittany are the ring announcers.

Gilbert Corsey is in the ring with Dr. Ted McNaler to let us know the next Special will take place on a FRIDAY night, December 14. It will be Christmas Chaos as there will be a cage inside a cage match featuring Abyss defending the Heavyweight Title against Shane "Hurricane" Helms.
Rocco Bellagio comes out and says if he remembers correctly, he had Abyss beat when the Void stuck their nose in his business. He doesn't care what he has to do, he had better be added to that title match. Michael Hayes comes out and gets in Rocco's face. He feels like Rocco plunged him purposely last week, but Rocco says he couldn't see.
Amon, Crazzy Steve, & the Void come out and surround the ring, but Randy Royal, Justin Smooth, & Randall Floyd run out to even the odds. They fight the Void off, but then Hayes hits the facebuster off the knee to Rocco.
The other 4 start shoving with Floyd & Royal really getting into it. Royal says he's sick of this and wants a match with Floyd tonight.

OVW TELEVISION TITLE MATCH: Eddie Knight (c) defeats William Lutz (w/Ashton Cove). Lutz attacks Knight as he comes through the curtain, thanks to a distraction by Cove. Lutz clubs him and stomps him, and delivers a headbutt. The ref refuses to start the match as Lutz tries to pin. Knight says to ring the bell. Lutz continues to club him and work him over. He goes for a pin, but only gets 2. Lutz hits a headbutt off the top rope to the shoulder. He twists the arm up, but Knight works his way up. Off the ropes, Lutz ducks a cross body from Knight, and Knight flies out of the ring. Cove rolls him in for a 2. Lutz puts him up top for a superplex, but Knight hits him off. He then connects with the flying elbow drop to get the 3.

Jaylee comes out with Cali & Valerie Vermin. Jaylee says they are celebrating not only retaining the Women's Title, but sending Megan Munroe back home to her hometown for good. They then turn their attention to Mercy at ringside and make fun of her and her facebook post about her birthday, making her cry. Brittany jumps up and tells them to just stop. Jaylee calls her a has-been, better yet a never-been and says she should be bowing down to her.

"Mister Marvelous" Melvin Maximus defeats "The Vet" Apollo. Apollo attacks Melvin, but Melvin quickly takes control. He powerslams Apollo, then locks in the bearhug, making him tap.
After the match, Shannon the Dude comes out and says it's good to see Melvin. Melvin helped him get a spot at the commentary desk with Gilbert. How about they get the band back together?
Adam Revolver comes out and says he needs to run things by him before he comes out here with his toy belt trying to make decisions. He says he locked Melvin in the sleeper and left him laying on Saturday. Shannon says for the last year, he made Adam relevant again, carrying him on his back and it's getting a little soft. Adam shoves him down and leaves. Melvin helps Shannon up.

Al Snow comes out and says they were able to take a big part of the proceeds from OVW 1000 to help out with juvenile diabetes and the American Cancer Society. He says they are donating $1000 to both things before being interrupted by Shiloh Jonze & DL3. They say they can take care of those checks, if Snow just wants to hand them over. Kings Ransom shows up behind them, and Snow says they might want to turn around. Shiloh & DL3 run out of the ring and dare them to keep stepping to them. They do, and DL3 & Shiloh retreat to the back.

"The Double R Superstar" Randy Royal defeats "The Real Deal" Randall Floyd. "The Show Stealer" Rocco Bellagio & Michael Hayes are at ringside. Floyd goes right after Royal. Royal returns some shots and they fight to the outside. Floyd hits Royal, but Royal chops him and claws his back. Floyd hits a t-bone suplex. Royal comes back and sets up for the Royal flush, but Amon & Crazzy Steve run out. Royal & Floyd fight them off and then Rocco & Hayes continue the fight with them to the back. Royal & Floyd go back to exchanging blows, but now the Void is out. They hit them off the apron, but then Royal rolls Floyd up from behind to get the quick 3!

This ended the TV taping.

"The Bro Godz": Dustin Jackson & Colton Cage defeat The Mexicutioner & Drew Hernandez. Dustin with a nice dropkick early, but Drew hits a back-to-back suplex. Mex tags in and works the leg of Dustin and double teams Dustin in their corner. Dustin gets a hot tag to Colton. Colton fires away on Drew and hits a sideburn effect for 2 as Mex breaks it up. Mex is thrown to the outside and Colton hits the scissor kick followed by a top rope splash from Dustin for the 3.

"The Void": Chace Destiny, Nigel Winters, & Houdini defeat "The Boy Wonder" Sam Thompson, Dimes, & Brandon Wolfe. Quick offense early from Sam's team, but the Void gains control triple teaming Dimes and working him over. Dimes gets a tag to Sam, who is on fire briefly before the Void takes control again. Sam double DDT's Houdini & Nigel and tags to Wolfe as Chace tags in. Wolfe & Dimes double team Chace, but the Void pulls Dimes and Sam out and throws them into the ringposts. The Void then triple teams Wolfe, finishing him with a double backbreaker and a flying elbow drop from Nigel for the 3.
