OVW TV 1166: Christmas Chaos 2021

This is the OVW Report for Thursday, December 16, 2021.

TONIGHT:

-Jessie Godderz defends the National Title against Jake Omen in a No DQ/Falls Count Anywhere Match!

-The OVW Tag Team Champions & 2021 Nightmare Cup Winners, the Fanny Pack Party, defend against Dark Kloudz in a TLC match!

-Gustavo battles Star Rider with the Rush Division Title on the line in a Last Man Standing Match!

-Ryan Howe defends the Heavyweight Title against Reverend Ronnie Roberts in a Knockout Match!

-The OVW Women's Champion Sierra defends against Dani Mo and the title is literally up for grabs in a Title on a Pole Match!

-Plus, Luscious Lawrence defends the Kentucky Title against a mystery opponent who has never competed in OVW before and much more!

PRE-SHOW:

Linda Kay is the ring announcer.

STREET FIGHT: "The Legacy of Brutality": Big Zo & Steve Michaels (w/"The East End Villain" Josh Ashcraft) vs. "Southern Discomfort": Jebediah Blackhawk & Snake Williams Jr.

A crazy start with lots of baking sheet and trash can lid shots being exchanged. The LOB goes for a double chokeslam on Snake, but Jeb breaks it up. Josh gets in and hits Jeb from behind with a cake pan, but it doesn't faze him. He throws the pan at Snake and they go after him. Steve double clotheslines them from behind, then chokeslams Snake for the 3. 

WINNERS: LEGACY by pinfall.

"Mr. Zero Gravity" AJ Daniels vs. Crixus.

AJ comes out and says he has been forgotten about again, so he is issuing an open challenge. It's answered by the return of Crixus. AJ fires away on him, but Crixus catches him with a knee to the face. AJ drops to his knees and Crixus runs off the ropes and hits a running knee to the side of the head and gets the quick 3.

WINNER: CRIXUS by pinfall.

"Double A" Arie Alexander & Hayley Shadows vs. Dream Girl Ellie & Judi Hendrix.

Card subject to change as Judi replaces Haley in this contest. Ellie with the advantage early against Hayley. Judi tags in and gets thrown hard into the opposing corner. Arie tags in and hits a release German suplex, hits Judi in the corner, then delivers the nosedive. They both go for the same move simultaneously, and both tag out. Ellie clotheslines Hayley in the corner and Arie blind tags. Ellie hits a kick to the head of Hayley and covers, but Hayley is not legal. Arie winds up, but Ellie ducks and hits her with a running kneelift. She tags Judi, but Arie back elbows her and faceplants her for the 3.

WINNERS: ARIE & HAYLEY by pinfall.

OVW TV (HOUR 1):

Bryan Kennison & Steven Johnson are on commentary, Linda Kay & AJ McKay are the ring announcers.

KENTUCKY TITLE MATCH: "Hot Shot" Danny Duggan vs. "Mr. Juicy" Luscious Lawrence (c).

They lock up and Luscious shoves Danny. Off the ropes, Danny takes Luscious down. Off the ropes again, Danny goes down and the ref throws up the "X" and calls for the bell.

NO CONTEST...STILL KENTUCKY CHAMPION: LUSCIOUS.

4 CORNERS CHRISTMAS CHAOS MATCH: "Dysfunction": Brandon Espinosa & "Iron Bear" Tom Coffey vs. "Level X": "The Sultan of the Sky" Blanco Loco & "Unforgettable" Axton Ray vs. Ca$h Flo & "Big Money" Dimes vs. "Hood Ninja" Hy Zaya & "Shotgun" Tony Gunn.

Espy wants Level X, then Ca$h & Dimes to join them. He gets a chop from Ca$h, then Level X does as well. Dimes jumps on Tom's back. Hy & Ca$h square up, then Dysfunction pulls down the ropes as Ca$h charges at them. Level X dropkicks Dysfunction to the outside, then Gunn runs Level X into each other and knees them in opposite corners. Things get chaotic and Level X flies out on their competitors. Dimes then tries to jump on them all, but they catch him. Ca$h then dives on all of them to take them out. Competitors slowly enter the ring one by one hitting their finishers on one another until it's down to Loco & Gunn. Loco kicks Gunn in the head, then goes to flip off the ropes, but Ca$h cross body's him in mid-air. Ca$h goes up and hits the Payload as Gunn hits Dimes with a Killshot as he tries to enter. Ca$h clotheslines Gunn and himself out of the ring and a dazed Dimes falls on top of Loco for the 3! 

WINNERS: DIMES & CA$H by pinfall.

WOMEN'S TITLE ON A POLE MATCH: "The Queen of the North" Freya the Slaya vs. Sierra (c).

Card subject to change once again as Freya replaces Dani. Freya attacks Sierra from behind as she makes her entrance. She hits her and chops her at ringside. Freya gets in and kicks Sierra off the apron as she tries to climb back in. Freya goes for the belt, but Sierra makes it in to stop her. Freya suplexes her and hits a big legdrop. She goes to climb again, but Sierra gets to her and clotheslines her out of the ring. Sierra goes to climb, but Freya clubs her from the outside and rams her into the apron. Freya climbs again. Sierra knocks her off to the floor, then dives out with a cross body. They continue fighting and the belt falls off the pole. The ref has to hold it up in the corner while they fight. Freya pounds Sierra down and climbs the ref(?) to retrieve the gold! 

WINNER and NEW WOMEN'S CHAMPION: FREYA.

RUSH DIVISION TITLE LAST MAN STANDING MATCH: "The Star of the Show" Star Rider vs. Gustavo (c).

Gustavo with dropkicks and a running knee out of the gate. He hits Star at ringside and Star fires back. He tries to throw Gustavo into the railing, but Gustavo blocks it and throws Star into it after a hard back elbow. Star grabs a chair and throws it into Gustavo's face. Star takes control and pounds away at Gustavo. He throws a chair at him again and Gustavo's forehead is busted open. Star goes for a stomp, but Gustavo moves and hits him with a reverse headscissor takedown that drops Star on the top of his head. Gustavo chops him and chokes him in the ropes. Star grabs him by the hair and hits him, then stomps a mudhole in him in the corner. They exchange blows in the middle of the ring, then enziguris, then super kicks. Gustavo goes down and the count is on. He gets up before 10 and Star is back on the attack. He chops Gustavo hard. Gustavo back with some forearms and Star comes back with a clothesline that flips him. Star grabs some more chairs and throws them in the ring. He finds a trash can lid as well and hits Gustavo in the gut, then across the back. He sets up all the chairs. He headbutts Gustavo down across the chairs and goes up top. Gustavo gets up and hits the ropes and Star falls across the top turnbuckle. Gustavo puts a trash can across the chairs and slams Star down across it. Star gets up before 10 and Gustavo clotheslines him and hits a cutter. He grabs a chair and throws it in Star's face. Gustavo hits Star across the back with the trash can, then rips at his face. Star kicks Gustavo below the belt. He then wishbones Gustavo around the ringpost and handcuffs his feet together. Gustavo can't get up!

WINNER and NEW RUSH DIVISION CHAMPION: STAR.

OVW TV (HOUR 2):

OVW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE KNOCKOUT MATCH: Reverend Ronnie Roberts vs. "Rockstar" Ryan Howe (c) (w/Arie Alexander).

Ryan goes to kick Ronnie, but Ronnie catches his foot and fires away. He shoves Ryan's bandana in his mouth. Howe & Ronnie each try to take each other down, but neither are knocked out. Ronnie slowly starts to make a comeback and Arie is back to the ring helping Ryan keep from losing. She gets in the ring after Ronnie takes Howe down and gets in between them. Ronnie is about to lay hands on her as Ryan goes and grabs a present from the stage. He unwraps it and it's a guitar. He smashes it over Ronnie's head when he turns around and Ronnie is knocked out.

WINNER and STILL HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: HOWE by KO.

NATIONAL TITLE NO DQ/FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE MATCH: "The End of the World" Jake Omen vs. "Mr. Pec-Tacular" Jessie Godderz (c).

They exchange blows, then Omen knees Jessie in the ropes. Jessie grabs the title and swings at Omen, but he ducks and suplexes Jessie. Jessie rolls out and Omen follows. Jessie hits him with an enziguri. He throws Omen into the steps and tries to hit him with a chair, but he keeps moving. Omen kicks it back in Jessie's face. He drops a knee inside, then grabs the title. Jessie ducks and spears Omen. Omen comes back and locks Jessie in a sleeper. Jessie tries to go for a low blow, but Omen catches him and clotheslines him. He big boots Jessie off the apron and out to the floor. He hits a running clothesline off the apron. He exposes the concrete and goes for a piledriver, but Jessie back body drops him on the ramp. Jessie goes to kick him, but Omen DDT's him on the concrete. He runs him into some chairs near the side door, then sets a chair up. He runs and leaps off it, but Jessie moves. Jessie spears Omen out the door and covers him for the 3.

WINNER and STILL NATIONAL CHAMPION: GODDERZ by pinfall.

After the match, Santa Claus delivers a gift to Jessie. It's a "Master Lock". Chris Adonis appears on the screens and says he is coming to teach Jessie a lesson about the pecking order and plans on slapping him around like a little brother. He says to make it more interesting, he wants to make it title vs. title. The OVW vs. the NWA National Title!

TAG TEAM TITLE TLC MATCH: "Dark Kloudz": "Elusive" Eric Darkstorm & "Hustler" Deget Bundlez vs. "The Fanny Pack Party": Dustin Jackson & "The Fanny Pack Kid" Kal Herro (c).

A hardcore match with plenty of TLC action. An oversized candy cane is even brought into play as Kal slams it across Deget's back. Deget later suplexes Dustin through a table. Later, Eric has a chair wrapped around Dustin's neck and climbs up top. Kal shoves him off through a table, then climbs up and retrieves the trophy!

WINNERS and STILL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: FANNY PACK PARTY.

Before the show ends, Santa Claus is back to wave goodbye to everyone and is interrupted by Josh Ashcraft. He says to "listen here, fat man". He's mad that he had to pay for his own Xbox last year, and Santa gives him a stunner!
