This is the OVW Report for Thursday, January 13, 2022.
TONIGHT:
-There will be several "Rumble Entry Roulette" matches where one of the winners will have an opportunity to enter Saturday's Nightmare Rumble last, while one of the losers may be chosen to enter first!
-Rumble Entry Roulette: Kentucky Champion Luscious Lawrence is in action against Tony Gunn!
-Rumble Entry Roulette: The OVW Tag Team Champions & 2021 Nightmare Cup Winners, the Fanny Pack Party, team up with Blanco Loco & Garrisaon Creed to go against the team of Dysfunction & Dark Kloudz!

PRE-SHOW:
Linda Kay & Eric Cornish are the ring announcers.
Ronnie goes on the offense early, clubbing D'mone, then delivering an atomic drop. Ronnie hits him in the corner, but D'mone fights back and works over Ronnie's left arm. He misses a knee drop, but comes back and locks Ronnie up in a crucifix submission. He works the arm in the ropes, but runs into a boot, then another. He misses a charge to the corner and Ronnie fires away on him. He clubs him and stomps him. Ronnie with a clothesline, then another, then a knee to the face. Ronnie slams him and delivers the legdrop. He goes for the Mighty Hand of God, but D'mone tries to reverse into an armbar. Ronnie escapes it and hits the Mighty Hand for the 3.
WINNER: RONNIE by pinfall.
Roger with some quick hits and kicks to the big man, but runs into a wall off the ropes. Steve clubs him and headbutts him. He throws him to the corner and fires away. He throws him to the corner again and splashes him. He goes for another splash, but Roger moves and throws some quick jabs. He hits a backdrop for 2. Steve catches him with a chokeslam to get the 3.
WINNER: MICHAELS by pinfall.
Scott hits and chops him, then shoulder blocks him and clotheslines him. DNA comes back with a dropkick, but runs into a boot. Scott clubs and chops him some more. DNA tries to chop back, but gets clubbed down. Scott with a spinebuster for 2. DNA comes back with a chinbuster and flying clothesline, but Scott puts him away with a TKO for the 3.
WINNER: CARDINAL by pinfall.
OVW TV (HOUR 1):
Bryan Kennison, Dancin' Stevie J, & Shannon the Dude are on commentary, Eric Cornish & Linda Kay are the ring announcers.
Al Snow comes out to say we are on the way to the Nightmare Rumble. Every match tonight will have the Rumble Entry Roulette stipulation.
Zo runs Gustavo into the corner. Gustavo tries a sunset flip, but Zo stomps him. He misses a legdrop. Gustavo tries to fire, but Zo clubs him down. He charges, but Gustavo sends him to the outside, then dives out on him. They fight on the outside with Zo hitting him into the barricade and clawing his face. He rams him into the side of the ring. Back inside, Gustavo fights back and goes up top, but gets distracted by Josh. Zo grabs him by the throat and slams him down. He sends him into the ringpost, then hits a release German suplex. Zo with a submission. Gustavo works up and runs off the ropes into a clothesline that turns him inside out. Zo throws him in the corner and hits the cartwheel butt bump and back elbows. He covers for 2. He locks in the submission again. Gustavo works up and hits Zo in the chin. He avoids another cartwheel butt bump and hits the Salina Del Sol for the 3.
WINNER: GUSTAVO by pinfall.
RUMBLE ENTRY ROULETTE: "Double A" Arie Alexander vs. "Big Al" Alice Crowley.
A quick back and forth. Arie takes Alice down for 2 with a backdrop. Arie hits 2 German suplexes, but Alice blocks a 3rd. She fires back, but Arie catches her leg and drops her with a twisted DDT for the 3.
WINNER: ARIE by pinfall.
Ryan Howe is out with Arie Alexander and a guitar. He sings about the Nightmare Rumble and makes a comment about the women's one. He says they all belong in the kitchen and the ladies come out and surround the ring. They get in, but Howe leaves. Up the ramp, he backs into Freya the Slaya and takes off without harm.
Team FPP has the early control. They keep Dysfunction in their corner and make quick tags, working each of them over. All 8 men end up in the ring, then team Dark Kloudz takes control. They work over Creed before tagging out to Kal. Kal fires away on Dysfunction with rights and bionic elbows, then Deget kicks the bad arm of Kal as he grabs for Eric. They work over Kal's bad arm. Kal gets a tag to Dustin, but the ref was distracted. He doesn't allow it. Kal is beaten down for a bit. Dustin gets frustrated and finally gets in and hits all their opponents and drags Kal to their corner. Loco tags in and goes to town on Dysfunction. He hits a cutter to Espy and knocks Tom out of the ring with an enziguri. He hits a flying headscissors to Espy and tags Creed. Creed goes to leap on them both. They move, but he kicks them both. They pull him down to the floor. Loco leaps off the top onto all 3 of them. Meanwhile, Dark Kloudz & FPP are brawling on the other side. All 8 men are brawling on the outside, until Espy & Creed get back in the ring. Tom shortly follows and Dysfunction hit their finish on Creed for the 3.
WINNERS: DYSFUNCTION & DARK KLOUDZ by pinfall.
OVW TV (HOUR 2):

Al Snow comes out again and says happy 2022! He reminds everyone that every match tonight will have the Rumble Entry Roulette stipulation. He also says that Earl Hebner will be a big part of the main event Saturday. He talks to Earl live via Zoom about officiating Saturday's match. Jessie Godderz comes out to address Al, Earl, and the match. Al tells Jessie he should represent OVW well and gives him a warm-up match tonight against Ca$h Flo!
All 3 women fight the other 3 to start out. All hit their finishers and it comes down to Hayley & Max. Max goes to hit her, but Shawna comes back in and grabs her arm. Shawna & Hayley hit a double team powerbomb for the 3.
WINNERS: ELLIE, HAYLEY, & SHAWNA by pinfall.
Vine hits him and delivers a neckbreaker drop. Bizo needs a timeout and pokes him in the eye. He hits a Bizo Buster for 1. He goes for the Bizo Bomb, but Vine slides out. He hits an inverted atomic drop and a spinebuster. He finishes him off with a twisted DDT for the 3.
WINNER: VINE by pinfall.
They shove each other. Gunn throws Luscious to the corner and Luscious goes for the Bootybusters, but Gunn throws him to the apron and hits him off. Luscious gets back in and knocks Gunn to the outside. Gunn pulls him out. Luscious hits him and rolls him back in. Luscious slams him and splashes him for 2. Gunn with a takedown and single leg submission. Luscious tries to kick at Gunn to break the hold. Luscious flips Gunn to the apron. Gunn shoulders him away and hits the flying knee off the top rope. He covers for 2. Gunn goes back after the leg. Luscious rolls him up in a small package for 2. Luscious fires up with some clotheslines and a powerslam off the ropes for 2. Luscious with the Luscious Legdrop. Luscious runs into a knee, but comes back with a fameasser for 2. Luscious with a rollup for 2. Gunn & Luscious exchange chops. Gunn misses a charge and Luscious with running butts into the corner. Luscious goes up top and nails a double axehandle, but Gunn comes off the ropes with the Killshot for the 3.
WINNER: GUNN by pinfall.
Ca$h Flo is in the back with Josh Ashcraft. Josh says they have a National Title match tonight, but Ca$h says they don't have anything, he does. He saw Josh's look at the awards show and as far as he's concerned, they're done, Josh's services are no longer needed.
Jessie locks him up from behind and chops him. He locks him up again and Ca$h reverses. Jessie reverses back into a side headlock. Ca$h runs him into the corner and misses a chop. Jessie with some chops and throws Ca$h into the corner and splashes him. Another side headlock by Jessie. Jessie goes for a press slam, but Ca$h slides off and dropkicks him! He delivers his own press slam and goes up for the Payload, but Jessie rolls out. Jessie says he's not going back in. Ca$h goes after him. He hits him off the apron, then the barricade. He goes for a chop, but hits the ringpost when Jessie moves. Jessie hits his hand off the apron. He goes to throw Ca$h into the side of the ring, but Ca$h reverses. Ca$h charges, then Jessie moves. Ca$h crashes and Jessie leaps off the steps and hits him. Jessie with a ground and pound as Ca$h rolls in at 9. Jessie with a slingshot under the middle rope. He covers for 2. Jessie locks his legs around the torso of Ca$h. Ca$h gets free and Jessie runs into a boot. He goes for a chop, but Jessie pokes him in the eye. Jessie with a nice dropkick and locks the torso up again with his legs. Ca$h again breaks free and kicks Jessie. Jessie reverses a throw to the corner and chops Ca$h. Ca$h gets angry and fires back. He clotheslines him and catches Jessie off the ropes. He slings him down. Ca$h with a running cross body. He nails a chop and goes to climb up top. Josh Ashcraft comes out and gets on the apron. Ca$h kicks him in the face and Dimes comes out and carries him out. Jessie climbs up and hits an overhead suplex, then spears Ca$h for the 3.
WINNER and STILL NATIONAL CHAMPION: GODDERZ by pinfall.
