Without further ado:

Here we go...

Pre-Show Dark Matches:

Jade Dawson defeats The Ringmaster (w/Scarlet).
Scarlet tries to distract Jade, but Jade is able to duck an attack by Ringmaster and hit him with the fameasser for the 3.

Jessie Belle (w/Randy Royal) defeats Deonna Purrazzo.
Jessie Belle attacks Deonna as she enters the ring. Royal trips Deonna as she tries to make a rally. Jessie works her over a bit, but Deonna fires back with clotheslines. She charges Jessie in the corner, but Jessie moves, rolls Deonna up and holds the tights for the 3.

That concludes tonight's pre-show dark matches. I always recommend watching the episode first on TV or online before reading the rest of the report. Again, you can check it out on WBNA ion-21 in the Louisville area Saturdays at 11AM and 10PM (check local listings) and on OVW's official website Mondays at

Gilbert Corsey & Timmy Danger are on commentary, and Gilbert is the ring announcer.

Gilbert Corsey brings out the NEW OVW Heavyweight Champion, "Ultraviolent" Chris Silvio. Gilbert says he won under some clouded circumstances. Silvio says he is the new champion, and hit Eddie Diamond so hard, he doesn't know if he's even gotten up yet. He dethroned Diamond, and change is now. OVW has always talked about "tomorrow's superstars today", but he doesn't remember people from the past walking through the doors every week. He doesn't remember seeing Randy Orton coming each and every Wednesday night to help keep the doors open. Silvio did, and he helped the superstars put food on their table. He is today's superstar and it is his time. Eddie Diamond comes out and says his head is fine and he wants his rematch at the Saturday Night Special.
Mohamad Ali Vaez returns and says he never got his rematch, and wants a shot at Eddie or the "hippie".
Dean Hill comes out and says in the spirit of competition, we will have Eddie Diamond vs. Mohamad Ali Vaez in the main event. Winner gets a shot at the OVW Heavyweight Title at SNS. He then tells Silvio, that a lot of people don't like him, but he has an idea. Tonight's winner will also pick a stipulation for SNS. Silvio says he didn't agree to any of this, but says Ali has been dead for 2 months, and Eddie barely got away with his life at Friday Night Fights, so it's a deal.

OVW TELEVISION TITLE: Damian Adams (w/Deonna Purrazzo) vs. "The Double R Superstar" Randy Royal (c) (w/Jessie Belle).
As Royal enters, guitar music keeps playing, and Royal keeps looking around. Royal & Adams go back and forth, but as Adams starts to rally, Jessie Belle gets in the ring and jumps on Adams' back. He flips her off, and Deonna gets in the ring and starts fighting with Jessie. They roll out of the ring as Adams watches, allowing Royal to roll him up from behind and put his feet on the ropes for leverage to get the 3.
After the match, Randy Royal still hears the guitar music that played at different times throughout the match. He sees a man in a leather jacket with a guitar over his head in the rafters and says he's not afraid, to come to the ring. It's a fake, as Ryan Howe actually appears from underneath the ring and attacks Royal.
He tells Royal that some memories fade, but his TV Title rematch clause didn't, and he will see him at the Saturday Night Special.

Dapper Dan Van Zandt (w/the Family Circus) defeats OVW Southern Tag Team Champion "Primetime" Robbie Walker.
Dan attacks Robbie on his entrance and controls early. Robbie rallies, as Ringmaster & Scarlet try to interfere. Mitch Huff runs out and tells the ref about their distractions, but actually distracts the ref from Robbie's reversal. Dan had Robbie up for the spinning sit out powerbomb, but Robbie reversed and had him pinned. Robbie gets up and argues with Huff, but Robbie does turn around into the spinning sit out powerbomb for the 3.
After the match, Huff grabs a mic and says he's sorry, but at least he didn't "accidentally" kick him in the face. Robbie says it was his match. Adam Wylde runs out and says he is tired of playing Jerry Springer between the two of them. Robbie says the only way to solve this is with a match at Saturday Night Special. Huff says it's a good idea, but how about we make it better and have Adam be the special referee. Adam says no way, but Robbie says that's a great idea and he accepts.

"The Ladies' Man" Leon Shelly defeats Adam Revolver.
Revolver attacks Leon as he is talking to fans at ringside. He controls most of the match, but can't put Leon away. He gets Leon locked in the sleeper hold twice, but Leon won't go down. Revolver finally gets frustrated and low blows Leon for the DQ.
After the match, Revolver grabs a chair, but is attacked by Jade Dawson. They fight back and forth, and Jade gets the chair, but Rev. Stuart Miles runs out and tells Jade not to do it, to do it the right way. Jade grabs a mic and says he will face Revolver at Saturday Night Special. He says he doesn't know much about the Bible, but has heard "Vengeance is mine", and chases Revolver to the back with the chair.

#1 CONTENDER'S MATCH: Eddie Diamond defeats Mohamad Ali Vaez.
A very good back and forth match. Ali catches Eddie with a neckbreaker, but Eddie kicks out at 2. Eddie comes back with a flying knee off the ropes, but Ali gets his foot on the ropes. Ali hits his double underhook DDT for 2. In the corner, Ali goes up, but Eddie knocks him off. Eddie goes for the flying headbutt, but misses. Ali hits another neckbreaker, but doesn't go for the pin right away, as he yells into the camera. He goes for the pin, but Eddie kicks out at 2 and turns it into a Crossfire. Ali tries to reach the ropes, but Eddie switches sides on the Crossfire, and Ali is forced to tap.
After the match, Chris Silvio comes out and stands on the announce table and has a staredown with Eddie.

This ended the TV taping.

Post-Show Dark Matches:

Dapper Dan Van Zandt, The Ringmaster, & Elvis Pridemoore (w/Scarlet) defeats "The Chosen One" Mitch Huff and the OVW Southern Tag Team Champions "Wylde & Reckless": "Standout" Adam Wylde & "Primetime" Robbie Walker.
Wylde & Walker tag in and out quickly in the early going, but Robbie refuses to tag Huff. Wylde ends up getting worked over for most of the match, as Huff & Walker even argue over who will help Wylde. Wylde finally makes the hot tag to Huff. Huff is in control and sets Ringmaster up for a super kick, but Robbie tags in and nails one. Huff argues with him as he tags himself back in. Robbie pushes Huff, who falls over Ringmaster, and Ringmaster rolls him up with the tights for the 3.
After the match, Huff & Walker argue again, and Wylde has to get in between them to keep them apart.

Saturday Night Special is this Saturday night! Come to the Davis Arena to see Chris Silvio vs. Eddie Diamond for the OVW Heavyweight Title in an I QUIT match, Randy Royal defends the TV Title against Ryan Howe, Adam Wylde is the special ref as Robbie Walker faces Mitch Huff, Jade Dawson faces Adam Revolver, plus more!

As always, thanks for reading!
