OVW Sept. 2018 SNS Results

This is the OVW Report for the September 1, 2018 Saturday Night Special!

Tonight:

-Justin Smooth goes 1-on-1 with Amon in the 15 foot high steel cage!

-Crimson faces the captain of the Bro Godz!

-Jaylee defends the Women's Title against Meg Monroe!

-Sam Thompson defends the Anarchy Title against Dapper Dan!

-Plus more!

Your announcers for tonight are Gilbert Corsey, Shannon the Dude, & Dr. Ted McNaler, and Brittany & Mercy are ring announcers.

Crimson vs. "The Bro Godz": Dustin Jackson (w/Colton Cage).
Crimson asks if everyone is ready to start the show, and he says he bet his partner he couldn't beat Jay Bradley in under 5 minutes. He lost. He then wanted double or nothing, so he said tonight he would beat the captain of the Bro Godz in under 5 minutes. Dustin Jackson is out and Crimson locks him in a side headlock. Crimson shoulders him in the corner, but Dustin comes back with some arm drags. Crimson nails him with a spinebuster and works him over. Dustin fires back and takes Crimson to the mat. He goes for the top rope splash, but Crimson gets the knees up. Colton is at ringside and Crimson argues with him. Crimson turns around into the picture perfect dropkick from Dustin and Dustin gets the 3!

WINNER: DUSTIN by pinfall.

Cali comes out and says she realizes she has been wrong. Her friend, Meg Monroe was just trying to help her and keep her from getting injured further. She promises to be in her corner tonight to cheer her on.

10-MAN TAG MATCH: William Lutz, "The Vet" Apollo, & "The Void": Chace Destiny, Nigel Winters, & Houdini vs. Dimes, "Livewire" KTD, Ashton Cove, SK Eveslage, & BGB.

SK's team takes it to Nigel early. SK & Dimes hit a cool double elbow drop on him. Apollo causes a distraction that allows Nigel to claw Dimes in the face and gain control. Dimes is worked over for a bit before all 10 men end up in the ring one after another, hitting their finishers on one another. It ends up with KTD & Apollo in the end, and KTD hits a KO punch to Apollo to get the 3.

WINNERS: COVE, SK, BGB, DIMES, & KTD by pinfall.

"The Entourage 2.0": DL3 & Shiloh Jonze (w/Crude Oil) vs. Big Zo & Eddie Knight.

DL3 shoves Eddie in the face. Eddie comes back firing and hits a Lou Thesz press. DL3 tags out, as does Eddie. Shiloh wants a dance off with Zo. They both dance, then Zo plows Shiloh down. He runs Shiloh into the corner and tags Eddie. Shiloh gains control and tags DL3. DL3 hits a running double knee and tags Shiloh back in. Shiloh does a "Shiloh-rooni", then runs into a chop. Zo tags in and hits a roundhouse kick. He hits Shiloh, then DL3, then Crude Oil all in the corner and splashes them. He hits Shiloh with a Samoan drop and tags Eddie. DL3 distracts the ref and Crude pushes Eddie off the top. Zo goes after Crude, and Shiloh & DL3 hit their finisher for the 3.
WINNERS: ENTOURAGE by pinfall.

ANARCHY TITLE MATCH: "The Man" Dapper Dan vs. "The Boy Wonder" Sam Thompson (c).

Sam grabs a mic and says Dan was his mentor, but he cheapshot him. That's okay, he is the man that Dan didn't think he was and he will prove it in Dan's match, an Anarchy Rules match! Sam fires away, but Dan catches him with a back elbow. He clubs him in the corner and chops him hard. Sam reverses a throw to the corner, but runs into another back elbow. Off the ropes, Sam ducks a clothesline and hits an enziguri. He goes to dive out, but misses his dive. Dan hits him around ringside and rolls him in. He launches in a garbage can full of goodies, then grabs the kendo stick. He kicks Sam and nails him across the back with the stick. He hits a slam and sets up a chair. He goes for a side slam, but Sam catches him with a kick, then splashes him in the corner. He drop toeholds Dan on the chair. He goes off the ropes, but Dan catches him and hits him with a side slam on the chair for 2. Dan hits the Death Valley Driver, but again Sam kicks out at 2! Dan sets up the trash can and hits the Death Valley Driver on it. Sam kicks out at 2 again! Dan is angry and goes after the ref. The ref hightails it around the ring. Sam recovers and has the chair. Dan goes to hit him with the trash can, but Sam hits the chair into the can, into Dan's head. He then superkicks Dan with the chair and gets the 3.
WINNER and STILL ANARCHY CHAMPION: SAM by pinfall.

OVW WOMEN'S TITLE MATCH: Meg Monroe vs. Jaylee (c).
Meg shoves Jaylee down and Jaylee rolls out. Jaylee gets in and they lock up into the corner. Meg chops her and Jaylee rolls out again. Meg hits her with a big slam and again Jaylee rolls out. Meg chases her this time and Jaylee kicks her as she gets back in. Jaylee attacks the knee and works it over. Meg starts to fire back with clotheslines, but Jaylee catches her in the armbreaker. Cali comes out and throws in the towel on Meg's behalf.

WINNER and STILL OVW WOMEN'S CHAMPION: JAYLEE by submission.

2 OUT of 3 FALLS MATCH: "Shotgun" Tony Gunn vs. "The Real Deal" Randall Floyd.

Gunn attacks Floyd from behind after he comes out from the curtain. He stomps him and rolls him in. He tells the ref to ring the bell and tries to steal a quick pin, getting a 3 and the first fall!

WINNER of FALL #1: GUNN by pinfall.

After a 10-second rest period, Floyd remains motionless on the mat. Gunn rolls over and puts a finger on him, but Floyd gets his shoulder up. Gunn tries again, and again Floyd puts his shoulder up. This happens 3 more times and Gunn yells at the ref to count to 3. Gunn picks Floyd up and Floyd rolls him up in the small package for the 3!
WINNER of FALL #2: FLOYD by pinfall.

Gunn goes after Floyd after the rest period, but Floyd moves and rolls him up for 2. Gunn hits him in the ropes, then in the corner. He throws him hard into the opposite corner and punches him. Gunn snapmares him and locks in a submission, clubbing him in the chest. Floyd starts to fire back, but Gunn knocks Floyd to the outside. Floyd fires back again and rolls Gunn in. Gunn rolls right back out, and Floyd follows him and chops him hard twice. Gunn hits him back and rolls him in. He goes for the flying knee, but Floyd catches him with a hit to the gut. He fires away and hits the t-bone suplex. He splashes Gunn, then throws Gunn hard into the other corner and slams him down. Gunn slides out of a cutter and goes for the reverse DDT. Floyd slides out and rolls Gunn up into a Boston crab, and Gunn is forced to tap!
WINNER of FALL #3: FLOYD by submission.

STEEL CAGE MATCH: Amon (w/"The Void": Chace Destiny, Nigel Winters, & Houdini) vs. "The Trinidad Titan" Justin Smooth.

Smooth & Amon go right after each other and Smooth gets the upperhand. Amon tries to climb out, but Smooth pulls him back down. Smooth splashes him in the corner and goes for the bicycle kick, but gets the ref. Amon hits him from behind as he checks on the ref and Amon throws him face first into the steel. Amon wants the door opened, but Smooth hits him. Off the ropes, Smooth misses a move and Amon catapults him into the side of the cage. He chokes him and presses his boot into Smooth's head against the cage. Off the ropes, Smooth catches Amon with a flapjack. Amon comes back, biting Smooth in the head. He goes to escape the door, but Smooth has a hold of his leg. Amon stomps him and clubs him across the back. He goes for another catapult, but Smooth lands on the top rope, then leaps off with a cross body. They exchange blows in the middle of the ring and Smooth hits Amon off the sides of the cage repeatedly. He then catapults Amon into the side of the cage. The Void runs out and holds the door shut with a chain to keep Smooth from escaping. Amon recovers and low blows Smooth from behind. Amon goes to escape, but Smooth pulls the door into his head.

The Void gets in and Smooth takes them all out. He hits Amon with the bicycle kick and the ref crawls over to make the 3!

WINNER: SMOOTH by pinfall.

After the match, a mad Amon takes out the Void!
