OVW SNS: Retribution 2021

This is the OVW Saturday Night Special Report for Retribution on Saturday, April 24, 2021.

Tonight, "Mr. Pec-tacular" Jessie Godderz defends the National Heavyweight Title against "Mr. Juicy" Luscious Lawrence!

OVW Heavyweight Champion Omar Amir defends against the Legacy of Brutality's Ca$h Flo!

The Legacy of Brutality will also be represented in a Rush Division Title match as "Hood Ninja" Hy Zaya defends against Star Rider, Gustavo, & Atiba in a Fatal 4 Way!

Plus, Mahabali Shera goes 1-on-1 with "Iron Bear" Tom Coffey, Shannon the Dude faces "Wild Child" Arie Alexander in intergender competition, and much more!

DARK MATCHES:

Eric Cornish is the ring announcer.

Koda Jacobs vs. "The Golden Bull" Jumbo Zamore.

Koda asks for a handshake, then kicks Jumbo in the gut. He locks in a side headlock. Jumbo picks him up and puts him into the corner, then slings him out. He slams him and hits a running butt drop. Koda takes Jumbo down and misses an elbow drop, then a leg drop. Jumbo throws him corner to corner and splashes him. He hits a running butt to the face in the corner. Koda kicks him and goes for a DDT, but Jumbo throws him off. Koda fakes a knee injury, kicks Jumbo in the knee, then rolls him up using the ropes for leverage to get the 3.

WINNER: KODA by pinfall.

Big Zo (w/"The East End Villain" Josh Ashcraft) vs. "Mr. Zero Gravity" AJ Daniels.

AJ tries a quick strike by kicking at Zo's leg. He tries to use his speed, but Zo squashes him in the corner. He throws him to the other corner. AJ flips over and kicks Zo in the head from the apron. Zo splashes AJ in the corner again, then hits the cartwheel butt bump and back elbows. AJ tries to fire back, but Zo plows him down. AJ hits a kick to the face and another kick to take Zo off his feet. He goes up top, but Zo rolls away from the 450 splash. Zo scoops AJ up and hits a Big Ending for the 3.

WINNER: ZO by pinfall.

RETRIBUTION:

AJ McKay, Bryan Kennison, & Steven Johnson are on commentary, Eric Cornish is the ring announcer.

"The Box Office Blonds": "Hollywood" Adam Swayze & "Co-Star" Rex vs. "The Tate Twins": Brandon & Brent.

Adam argues with Brent on the apron and Brandon tries a quick roll-up for 2. Adam tries a roll-up of his own. Brandon with an arm drag. Brent tags in and they hit a double reverse arm drag. Brandon tags back in and leaps off Brent's back with an elbow across the back of the head for 2. Rex gets tagged in and plows Brandon down, but Adam wants back in. Brandon kicks him in the face and tags Brent. Brandon gets flipped out to the floor by Adam, but Brent hits Adam with a cutter for 2. Rex blind tags off the ropes and plows Brent down. He hits Brent with some big backbreakers. Rex splashes him in the corner. Adam tags in and hits a suplex for 2. Adam hits Brandon off the apron, allowing the Blonds to double team Brent while Brandon tries to get in the ring. Rex stays in without a tag and knees Brent in the midsection. Adam shoulders him in the corner and Rex hits a big forearm to the face. Brandon gets a tag and fires away on Adam and dropkicks Rex. He hits a backstabber to Adam for 2 as Rex breaks the pin. Rex catches Brandon, but Brent dropkicks Brandon on top of him from the top. Rex chokeslams Brandon, but he's not the legal man. The Tates switch out while Adam gets in, and Brent rolls Adam up in a small package for the 3.

WINNERS: TATES by pinfall.

Ms. Linda K interviews Bruce Wayans in the back. He says "the Final Boss" is in Louisville, KY looking for Louisville Suckas. "When there's trouble, you call BW".

"The Final Boss" Bruce Wayans vs. Tag Team Champion "Shotgun" Tony Gunn.

Gunn with a side headlock, then takes Bruce down off the ropes. Bruce returns the favor and Gunn smacks him. Bruce takes his glove off and smacks Gunn back. He delivers a back drop for 1. Gunn takes control and hits Bruce with a release suplex. He chops him in the corner and hits a running forearm. He goes up and hits the knee off the top to the face. He connects with the Killshot and gets the 3.

WINNER: GUNN by pinfall.

Ms. Linda K interviews Mahabali Shera in the back. He says he will show Tom Coffey who the real king of the jungle is tonight.

"The Iron Bear" Tom Coffey vs. "The Indian Lion" Mahabali Shera.

Tom runs out as Shera comes in hot. Shera chases him around and into the ring where Tom drops an axehandle across him. Off the ropes, Shera clotheslines him. Shera & Tom exchange blows and Tom splashes him in the corner and shoulders him in the midsection. He spears him for 2. Shera fires back and clotheslines him. He slams Tom and hits the Sky High for the 3 and the win.

WINNER: SHERA by pinfall.

After the match, Tom tries to hit Shera from behind with a chair. Shera catches him, kicks him and hits Tom in the back twice with the chair.

Reverend Ronnie Roberts introduces his guest as the new OVW Heavyweight Champion, Ca$h Flo with Josh Ashcraft.

Ca$h says Omar Amir will be vacating the title to him and he will be suspended 60 days. He says Omar tried everything, but tonight is Retribution. Tonight, he becomes the new Heavyweight Champion.

Dustin Jackson & "Rockstar" Ryan Howe vs. "The Mayan Mauler" Drew Hernandez & "The Complete Package" Tony Bizo.

Good start from Dustin & Howe. Drew tagged Bizo in to start, because he didn't want to be in against Dustin. A distraction by Drew allows Bizo to pull Howe off the top rope. Howe takes Bizo down, then Dustin gets the hot tag. Dustin hits a Derby City Dive on Drew after Howe slams Bizo on Drew. Bizo breaks up the pin, and Howe clotheslines himself & Bizo out of the ring. Drew rolls Dustin up from behind with a handful of tights for the 3.

WINNERS: BIZO & DREW by pinfall.

Ms. Linda K interviews Shannon the Dude. He says this is a man's world, better yet, a "Dude's" world. Tonight, he is going to prove why Arie Alexander belongs in the kitchen and not the ring. He walks out and makes fun of every woman possible and says he is going to give Arie an opportunity to back out. Shannon gives her an apron and an oven mitt and tells her she should go on and walk out and make him a sandwich.

World Radio Champion Shannon the Dude vs. "The Wild Child" Arie Alexander.

Three of the women he disrespected, Ms. Linda K, Pamela Barnett, & Jessica Sarven come out to the ring. He says they should be in the back, then he turns around into a smack from Arie and she rolls him up for the 3.

WINNER: ARIE by pinfall.

FATAL 4 WAY RUSH TITLE MATCH: Atiba vs. Gustavo vs. Star Rider vs. "The Hood Ninja" Hy Zaya (w/"The East End Villain" Josh Ashcraft) (c).

Gustavo with a flying headscissors to take Hy out. Atiba gets taken out and Gustavo & Star fly out on both of them. A lot of quick offense. Atiba is taken down with a leg lariat. Hy connects with Ninja Vanish, but Star flies off the top with the 5-Star Frog Splash breaking the pin and taking out Hy. Star then covers Atiba for the 3!

WINNER and NEW RUSH CHAMPION: STAR by pinfall.

NATIONAL HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE: "Mr. Juicy" Luscious Lawrence vs. "Mr. Pec-Tacular" Jessie Godderz (c).

Jessie with some of his amateur wrestling moves early. Luscious with a slam and the running butt into the corner. He butt butts Jessie in the corner and delivers a stinkface. He covers for 2. Jessie comes back and hits Luscious in the corner. Luscious shoves him off and clotheslines him. Luscious hits Jessie in the corner with the 10 punches and Jessie wants a timeout in the ropes. Jessie wants a test of strength. They lock up and Luscious is winning, but Jessie gets in the ropes. Jessie has Luscious on the top. He goes for a superplex, but Luscious knocks him off. He leaps off with a double axehandle drop. Jessie rolls out and Luscious leaps out with another double axehandle. Back inside, Jessie drops Luscious across the top rope and pounds him on the mat. He stomps him and chokes him. Jessie has a handful of Luscious's hair as he has his legs wrapped around him in a submission. Luscious works his way out and goes for an elbow drop, but Jessie moves. Jessie chokes him again on the mat. He locks him up from behind. Luscious works out again and clotheslines Jessie, then delivers an atomic drop and powerslams him. He connects with the Luscious Legdrop for 2 as Jessie grabs the ropes. Jessie with an enziguri, then a pumphandle suplex. Luscious with a backdrop. He press slams Jessie, then hits a legdrop to the back of the head. He hits another, then a third. Luscious covers, but Tony Gunn runs out and puts Jessie's foot on the ropes. Luscious covers again, but Jessie kicks out at 2. Jessie with a codebreaker and release German suplex. Luscious rolls him up in a small package for 2. Gunn gets in and goes to hit Luscious with the tag title, but Luscious moves. He hits Gunn into Jessie, then throws Gunn over the top rope. He plants Jessie with the One Night Stand running powerslam, but Jessie kicks out at 2 after a delay in the pin because the ref was trying to get Gunn away. Jessie catches Luscious with a spear off the ropes and gets the 3!

WINNER and STILL NATIONAL CHAMPION: GODDERZ by pinfall.

Ms. Linda K interviews Omar Amir in the back. He says he worked so hard and made some mistakes. He has to relinquish the title, but he will get it back.

HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Ca$h Flo (w/"The East End Villain" Josh Ashcraft) vs. Omar Amir (c).

Al Snow comes out and says they miscounted, because he started Omar's suspension the Saturday before they were notified. Therefore, Omar is still champion and will defend in front of the greatest fans in the world right now! Ca$h attacks Omar from behind and lights him up with a hard chop in the corner. Omar reverses a throw to the opposite corner and splashes Ca$h. Ca$h comes back, taking out Omar's knee. He clubs Omar and stomps him. He hits Omar's knee off the side of the ring apron. He continues to work the knee. Omar reaches the ropes. Omar fires back with some hits and chops. He tries a sunset flip. He can't get him over, but Ca$h tries to drop down and Omar moves. Omar with a running clothesline. Omar goes off the ropes again and Josh trips him up. Ca$h attacks the knee from behind. He locks Omar up in a modified crab. He clubs Omar across the chest. He hangs Omar in a tree of woe and chops him. Omar chops back and moves away from a baseball slide from Ca$h. Omar boots him in the face and moves from a charge in the corner. Omar fires back with hits and chops again, then hits a flying clothesline off the ropes. He dropkicks Ca$h into the corner. Omar runs in with a splash. Josh grabs Omar's foot and Omar kicks him off. Ca$h chops him from the top and hits a superplex. Both men's shoulders are down and the ref counts to 2. Omar fires away on Ca$h in the corner. The ref gets squashed and Ca$h hits the running cross body. He goes up top and hits Payload, but there's no ref. Another ref comes out and counts to 2 as Omar kicks out! Ca$h goes up again and misses a second attempt. Omar rolls him up for 2. Omar hits the spinebuster slam, but Josh is on the apron. Omar grabs Josh, then Ca$h gets a chain and goes to hit Omar. Omar ducks and atomic drops Ca$h out of the ring. He goes out and grabs him and hits him on the apron. He backdrops Ca$h in. Both refs get in and make a 3 count, each for a different competitor.
