#1) "SMOOTH" JOHNNY SPADE (Last Week: #1)
LAST MATCH: Defeated Eddie Diamond.
*As if Spade needed a reason to be fired up any more for Saturday Night Special, he saw his good friend and OVW Owner Danny Davis get beat up at the hands of the Family, BS 2.0, and Jason Wayne this week.
#2) ROB TERRY (Last Week: #2)
LAST MATCH: Lost to Johnny Spade.
*The Freak wasn't able to hide from the Board of Directors when they made the decision to strip the OVW Heavyweight Championship off of him, too. Did they awake a sleeping giant, though?
#3) THE BEST TEAM EVER: Rudy Switchblade & Jessie Godderz (Last Week: #3)
LAST MATCH: Defeated Cliff Compton & Chris Silvio.
*The Best Team Ever was inactive this week as they watched the dynamic duo of Paredyse & Brandon Espinosa rack up another tag team win over the Street Kings. They now head toward their ladder match battle at SNS for the OVW Southern Tag Team Championships.
#4) MOHAMAD ALI VAEZ (Last Week: #6)
LAST MATCH: Was one of the last 2 competitors in the TV Title Tournament Battle Royal.
*Ali was beside himself after being chosen by Danny Davis for his team at SNS. Now Ali has to decide whether he will go after TV Title reign #8, or take one for Josette & the Family, so that she remains in power.
#5) MOOSE & MICHAEL HAYES (Last Week: #5)
LAST MATCH: Moose defeated Eddie Diamond; Moose was eliminated in the TV Title Tournament Battle Royal.
*Moose won his way into the TV Title Tournament, but was then eliminated from the battle royal the same night. Nevertheless, Moose has still been on quite the roll, and when teaming with Michael Hayes, could arguably be the next contenders for either The Best Team Ever or Pare-Nosa following SNS.
LAST MATCH: Defeated the Street Kings.
*Pare-Nosa has become a powerful "couple" of superstars since joining forces just a few short weeks ago. Will they continue to climb the ladder of success (pun intended) when they meet the Best Team Ever at SNS for the OVW Southern Tag Team Titles?
#7) "RUDO" RAUL LAMOTTA (Last Week: #10)
LAST MATCH: Won a tag team match with Shiloh Jonze; was one of the final two in the TV Title Tournament Battle Royal.
*Raul is very upset, and who can blame the guy? He's been on an impressive winning streak, but has been passed up 2 straight weeks by Danny Davis. After not being chosen to fight with Shiloh for the tag titles, and not being chosen by Danny Davis to fight for his team in the TV title match, what can we expect to see from him next?
#8) CLIFF COMPTON (Last Week: #9)
LAST MATCH: Eliminated in the TV Title Tournament Battle Royal; defeated Chris Silvio & Jason Wayne in a triple threat match.
*Cliff got back on the winning track this week, even at the expense of Chris Silvio. Could Mr. Compton be one of Danny Davis' picks for the steel cage gauntlet match at SNS for the now vacated OVW Heavyweight Title?
#9) SHILOH JONZE (Last Week: #10)
LAST MATCH: Won a tag team contest with Raul LaMotta; eliminated in the TV Title Tournament Battle Royal.
*Shiloh seemed disappointed to not get a rematch for the OVW Southern Tag Team Titles, but not as irate as Raul seemed to be. Now that Raul is fighting for the TV title and Josette's side, what will Shiloh focus on next?
#10) JAMIN OLIVENCIA (Last Week: #4)
LAST MATCH: Lost the OVW Television Title to Mohamad Ali Vaez.
*Jamin has taken a tumble down the rankings due to being absent for the last few weeks while other superstars have been making noise and moving around. Where is the leader of the dog pound? And what should we expect when he returns?
#11) TONY GUNN (Last Week: #12)
LAST MATCH: Defeated Jay Freddie; eliminated himself in the TV Title Tournament Battle Royal.
*Gunn came back strong this week getting himself into the running for the TV title, but eliminated himself going after Raphael Constantine to try and retrieve Ralphie. Will he ever get his hands on his bear?
#12) EPIPHANY (Last Week: #11)
LAST MATCH: Defeated Heidi Lovelace.
*Epiphany was another casualty in the Board of Directors' decision to vacate all of the OVW championships. Luckily, she was chosen by Danny Davis to have the opportunity to reclaim the Women's Title in a match against Taeler Hendrix at the next SNS.
#13) TAELER HENDRIX (Last Week: #14)
LAST MATCH: Defeated Heidi Lovelace, Jessie Belle, & Blair Alexis in a 4-woman scramble match.
*Taeler picked up an important victory putting her back in the title picture, and becoming one of Josette's picks for SNS. She also gets brownie points for making an IMPACT and becoming TNA's newest Knockout.
LAST MATCH: Eliminated in the TV Title Tournament Battle Royal; Lost to Cliff Compton in a triple threat match that also included Jason Wayne.
*Silvio apologized on his twitter for letting his anger take over the last couple weeks, which has cost him some matches and a chance at the TV title. He will need to regain some of his tye-dye mojo to get back on the winning track and move back up the Top 20.
#15) JASON WAYNE (Last Week: #13)
LAST MATCH: Eliminated in the TV Title Tournament Battle Royal; Lost to Cliff Compton in a triple threat match that also included Chris Silvio.
*Wayne did not have a good week and fell down the list because of it. With his alliance to Josette & the Family, will he get an opportunity to be in the steel cage gauntlet at SNS for the vacated Heavyweight Title?
#16) "3G" ERIC WAYNE (Last Week: #16)
LAST MATCH: Eliminated in the TV Title Tournament Battle Royal.
*3G made an excellent showing in the TV Title Tournament Battle Royal as he was one superstar away from getting an opportunity to compete at SNS for the vacated championship. Will he get the chance to put his third generation skills on showcase at SNS?
#17) RANDY ROYAL (Last Week: #15)
LAST MATCH: Lost to Dylan Bostic.
*The Double R Superstar was inactive this week. Will he get an opportunity to showcase his talent at SNS?
#18) TED McNALER (Last Week: #17)
LAST MATCH: Went to a double countout with Adam Revolver.
*The Manbeast's girlfriend Brittany DeVore tried to talk sense into him and Adam to stop fighting, but now Momma has gotten involved and scolded them both for their fighting and arguing. Will Momma put this family back together and on the winning track?
#19) RAPHAEL CONSTANTINE (Last Week: #19)
LAST MATCH: Eliminated himself in the TV Title Tournament Battle Royal.
*Constantine could make things much easier on himself by just handing the bear back to Tony Gunn, but seems to like playing "Catch Me If You Can"...and it might just be a matter of time before Gunn and his hunting dog, Nick Dumeyer, come around.
#20) VIC the BRUISER (Last Week: NR)
LAST MATCH: Defeated Dave Osborne.
*The most dangerous man in wrestling has been on quite the tear, and it might just be a matter of time before Vic gets a chance at some gold.
JUST MISSING THE CUT:
-BS 2.0
*Joe Coleman made a good showing this week on behalf of Bolin Services 2.0 by defeating Elvis Pridemoore, before being eliminated in the TV Title Tournament Battle Royal.
-Dylan Bostic
*Bostic was eliminated in the TV Title Tournament Battle Royal, and was later beat up by 4 of OVW's Femme Fatales: Epiphany, Blair Alexis, Jessie Belle, & Heidi Lovelace. Not the way to stay on the Top 20.
KEEP AN EYE ON:
*Arik Kristopher *Adam Revolver *Jessie Belle
*Nick Dumeyer *Heidi Lovelace
*Nick Dumeyer *Heidi Lovelace
Great job on the rankings. A few comments. Swap the Big E with Taeler. Why? Epiphany unfortunately no longer has the belt. And as you mentioned, Taeler gets recognition for her acceptance into TNA. This by the way is an honor and is providing a lot of positive exposure for OVW. She also won her previous four way match. It should be interesting if we see less of Taeler now that she is working in two promotions. Randy..sorry. Swap him with Brolin 2.0. He wasn’t on the card last week and he lost against whom? …”Bostic?” Will his role at SNS include running interference for Epiphany like Bostic does for Taeler? I hope not. As stated before, he deserves a belt! Glad to see that you placed Vic the Bruiser in your count and where was the Assassin? Stay cool….
