OVWmania Presents: OVW Top 20 (Ed. 34)

This is the OVW Top 20 for the week of January 8-14, 2013 exclusively on OVWmania. Each category features the champion followed by the top contenders. Where do all the superstars rank this week heading into the historic 700th episode of OVW TV?

TOP 10 SINGLES

"THE WELSH COLOSSUS" ROB TERRY
OVW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION
LAST WEEK: The target on the big man's knee coupled with interference from the outside cost him a match and now Rob will put the title on the line against Flash this week.

#1) FLASH FLANAGAN
LAST WEEK: Thanks to an assist from the constant distractions of Josette, Flash was able to steal a victory over Rob Terry and will now face the Champ for the title on episode #700.

#2) CLIFF COMPTON
OVW TELEVISION CHAMPION
LAST WEEK: Cliff continues to go out and prove that he always was and still remains your OVW Television Champion.

#3) "SMOOTH" JOHNNY SPADE
LAST WEEK: The Lone Wolf will finally get what he wants on episode 700...Doug Williams in a steel cage! He's ready to superkick anyone in his way until he gets there.

#4) JAMES "MOOSE" THOMAS
LAST WEEK: The biggest free agent in the business is ready for his next big challenge and dares anyone to try and stop him.

#5) DOUG WILLIAMS
LAST WEEK: The veteran purist made an example out of Stephon J. Baxter III before finding out he'd be trapped in the unforgiving steel with Johnny Spade.

#6) "THE KING OF PINK" DYLAN FREAK'N BOSTIC
LAST WEEK: Continues not sucking now after picking up another win over "Marksman" Nick Dumeyer.

#7) TONY GUNN
LAST WEEK: Coach...wrestler...Ralphie's best friend. That about sums up Tony's resume. Tony picked up another win defeating Jeremiah Plunkett last Wednesday.

#8) JAMIN OLIVENCIA
LAST WEEK: Jamin wasn't around last week, possibly still recovering from the great ladder match at SNS. When he returns, will he be looking for a rematch with Cliff Compton?

#9) CHRIS SILVIO
LAST WEEK: We know what time it is. It's time for Silvio to come back strong and work his way back into the title picture.

TOP 5 TAG TEAMS

THE GUTCHECKERS: Sam Shaw & Alex Silva
 OVW SOUTHERN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS
LAST WEEK: Silva & Shaw continue to impress as a team. Last week, they put away the Mascara Mafia in a very hard fought and entertaining match.

#1) THE COALITION: "General" Crimson & "General" Wayne
LAST WEEK: These 2 former Heavyweight Champions are very worthy contenders and are looking to eliminate the "French Canadian spy" and his partner for tag team gold.

#2) THE MASCARA MAFIA: Paredyse & Espy
LAST WEEK: An excellent showing against the Gutcheckers, but they came up empty. They may be called a number of things, but they have to be called tough above all else.

#3) THE WILD CARDS: Shiloh Jonze & "Rudo" Raul LaMotta
LAST WEEK: Shiloh fell to Randy Royal last week, but these two are still very dangerous as a team.

#4) THE COALITION: "Kamikaze of Combat Communications" Joe Coleman & "Sergeant" Jack Black
LAST WEEK: "Company B" is also a force, especially with the backup of the rest of the Coalition Forces.

TOP 5 FEMME FATALES

JESSIE BELLE
 OVW WOMEN'S CHAMPION
LAST WEEK: Jessie Belle is a country strong fighting champion and is ready to defend the gold anytime, anywhere.

#1) TAELER HENDRIX
LAST WEEK: For Taeler, it's all about the attitude. Can she climb back up the mountain and retrieve the title from Jessie Belle?

#2) JOSETTE BYNUM
LAST WEEK: Josette is a danger at ringside. Her constant distractions have assisted Flash Flanagan in "taking out the Trash" and defeating Big Rob to become #1 contender for the OVW Heavyweight Title.

#3) EPIPHANY
LAST WEEK: One of the "biggest" competitors and threats to Jessie Belle's OVW Women's Title.

#4) HEIDI LOVELACE
LAST WEEK: Heidi celebrated her birthday last week, but would like to celebrate another title opportunity.

MISSING THIS WEEK'S CUT:
-RYAN HOWE
-RANDY ROYAL
-MOBILE HOMERS
-RUDY SWITCHBLADE
-EDDIE DIAMOND
