OVWmania Presents: OVW Top 20 (Ed. 35)

This is the OVW Top 20 for the week of January 15-21, 2013 exclusively on OVWmania. Each category features the champion followed by the top contenders. Where do all the superstars rank this week after OVW's historic 700th episode?

TOP 10 SINGLES

"THE WELSH COLOSSUS" ROB TERRY
OVW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION
LAST WEEK: Big Rob overcame the obstacles of knocked out referees and interference from Josette to take Flash down and retain the OVW Heavyweight Title.

#1) CLIFF COMPTON
OVW TELEVISION CHAMPION
LAST WEEK: Cliff unofficially holds 2 belts, but is he looking for a third? He won quickly over Eddie Diamond to retain the OVW TV Title last week, but found out that his rivalry with Jamin Olivencia is far from over.

#2) DOUG WILLIAMS
LAST WEEK: The veteran surprised many fans by defeating Johnny Spade in a steel cage. This moves Doug up the ranks and probably close in line for an OVW Heavyweight Title opportunity.

#3) JAMES "MOOSE" THOMAS
LAST WEEK: The biggest free agent in the business would like to challenge for the title, but is his business finished with the Coalition?

#4) "SMOOTH" JOHNNY SPADE
LAST WEEK: Spade falls after getting caught in Chaos Theory in the steel cage against Doug Williams. How will the "Smooth One" recover?

#5) "THE KING OF PINK" DYLAN FREAK'N BOSTIC
LAST WEEK: Dylan "King Ken Justin Freak'n Bieber" Bostic, or something like that, racks up yet another win and continues to climb up the mountain in OVW.

#6) FLASH FLANAGAN
LAST WEEK: Flash tried every trick possible to capture the OVW Heavyweight Title, much like he did to gain a roster spot. Fortunately for Rob Terry, Trailer Park Trash made sure that wasn't going to happen.

#7) JAMIN OLIVENCIA
LAST WEEK: Jamin returned with a bang, sending a message to Cliff Compton that he wants his OVW TV Title back.

#8) RANDY ROYAL
LAST WEEK: "The Double R Superstar" is all "heart" and still working hard to get back to 100%, but the results have been all wins since his return.

#9) TONY GUNN
LAST WEEK: The coach helped Double R to another win last week, but missed out on winning the OVW TV Title at Expo 5.

TOP 5 TAG TEAMS

THE COALITION: "General" Crimson & "General" Wayne
OVW SOUTHERN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS
LAST WEEK: The 2 former OVW Heavyweight Champions captured the OVW Southern Tag Team Titles by defeating the "terrorists", the "French Canadian spy" Alex Silva & his "treasonous" partner Sam Shaw. It doesn't hurt that they have more back-ups than the Secret Service.

#1) THE GUTCHECKERS: Sam Shaw & Alex Silva
LAST WEEK: Silva & Shaw losing the tag team gold is their first "Gut Check" of 2013. Will they invoke their rematch clause and reclaim the titles?

#2) THE MASCARA MAFIA: Paredyse & Espy
LAST WEEK: The Mafia continues to impress after racking up a victory against three other teams in the Street Kings, the Mobile Homers, and the Best Team Ever.

#3) THE WILD CARDS: Shiloh Jonze & "Rudo" Raul LaMotta
LAST WEEK: Wherever the Coalition is, be on the lookout for these 2. Even though they may have struggled recently, they are one of the most experienced duos in OVW.

#4) THE MOBILE HOMERS: "Manbeast" Ted McNaler & Adam Revolver
LAST WEEK: Ted & Adam have returned and are looking to climb back in to title contention.

TOP 5 FEMME FATALES

JESSIE BELLE
 OVW WOMEN'S CHAMPION
LAST WEEK: This "Dixie Chick" continues to get the best of Taeler Hendrix and succeed. Is her redheaded rivalry with Taeler over?

#1) EPIPHANY
LAST WEEK: Not the Women's Champion, but Eddie Diamond, has been keeping his eyes on Epiphany. Should Jessie Belle be on the lookout?

#2) TAELER HENDRIX
LAST WEEK: Taeler has failed to recapture the gold, but she has captured many anonymous gifts left in her locker room. Are they from Dylan Bostic?

#3) HEIDI LOVELACE
LAST WEEK: Heidi is still on the hunt for the OVW Women's Title despite keeping a low profile recently.

#4) JOSETTE BYNUM
LAST WEEK: Josette has been on a crusade for Flash, getting him to take out Trailer Park Trash and trying to help him claim the OVW Heavyweight Title. She has failed on both fronts, because Trash came back to keep Flash from stealing a victory over Rob Terry last week.

MISSING THIS WEEK'S CUT:
-THE BEST TEAM EVER
-JOE COLEMAN
-JACK BLACK
-THE STREET KINGS
-EDDIE DIAMOND
