This is the OVW Report for Wednesday, March 6, 2013. This episode can be seen online starting tomorrow at www.ovwrestling.com/tv. Without further ado:

Here we go...

Pre-Show Dark Matches:

Lovely Lylah & "The Irish Redhead Bombshell" Taeler Hendrix vs. Hannah & Holly Blossom. Taeler & Lylah attack the Blossoms from behind. Holly gets worked over in the corner while the referee gets Hannah in her corner. Taeler steps on Holly's hair. She delivers an upercut and slams Holly to the mat. Taeler & Lylah start arguing with each other in the corner, allowing Holly to tag in Hannah. Hannah clotheslines Taeler several times and hits a kick to the face after throwing her off the ropes. Taeler tags out to Lylah. Lylah comes in and swings wildly, but Hannah ducks. Holly goes up top and hits a cross body and scoots out of the ring as Hannah makes the cover for the 3. WINNERS: BLOSSOMS by pinfall. MY TAKE: It was twice as nice to see the Blossoms back again and on the winning side.

Jeremiah Plunkett vs. "The Welsh Colossus" Rob Terry. Plunkett hits Rob and only angers him. Plunkett tries to run, but is caught on the apron. Rob flips him back inside. He hits a shoulder tackle, and delivers a big hip toss. Plunkett comes back and puts Rob in a sleeper hold. Rob drops to the mat to get him off. Plunkett comes back and puts Rob in a rear naked choke. Rob rams him into one corner, and then another to break the hold. He lifts Plunkett up on his shoulders and flips him up into a spinebuster for the pin. WINNER: TERRY by pinfall. MY TAKE: Big Rob with a big win and an impressive show of strength.

That concludes tonight's pre-show dark matches. I always recommend watching the episode first on TV or online before reading the rest of the report. Again, you can check it out on OVW's official website late Thursday afternoon/evening at www.ovwrestling.com/tv.

"Shotgun" Tony Gunn vs. "Lonesome" Jay Bradley. Tony locks an armbar on Bradley, but Bradley comes back with a clothesline and a big boot. He sets up for the lariat, but Tony catches him in an armdrag. Bradley comes back with a sleeper hold and delivers some hard elbows. Tony fights back, hitting a dropkick, clothesline, and backdrop. He goes for the YTO, but Bradley kicks him off, and kicks Gunn's knee out from under him. Gunn gets back to his feet and eats the big lariat from Bradley for the 1-2-3. WINNER: BRADLEY by pinfall. MY TAKE: Bradley with an impressive return to some old stomping grounds.

We see Ted McNaler still upset about what happened to Brittany at the SNS, talking to her and Adam. The Mascara Mafia & Chris walk in and tell them to remember about the restraining order. Espy says what he & Chris saw was disgraceful and ugly. Paredyse apologizes and says he didn't realize she wasn't Ted, because they were dressed the same. He knows she has so much potential and wants to give her a makeover. She accepts.

Lambda Lambda Lambda Fraternity's Albert Einstein Baxter II & Stephon J. Baxter III vs. The Coalition's Generals: "The Red Baron of Ruthless Reconaissance" Crimson & "The He-Man of Homeland Security" Jason Wayne (w/Ghillie). Crimson delivers a big boot and slam to Albert. He chokes him and tags in Wayne. Wayne kicks him, throws him in the corner and charges. Albert catches him with a boot, runs off the ropes and jumps, but is caught by Wayne. Wayne rams him into the corner and tags Crimson. They deliver a double chokeslam, and Crimson ties Albert's hands behind his back. Stephon tags in and Crimson is waiting with a clubbing blow. He throws him in the corner and clotheslines him. He throws him in their corner and Wayne tags in. Wayne picks Stephon up on his shoulders and Crimson goes up top and clotheslines him. Wayne pins him for 3. WINNERS: COALITION by pinfall.
After the match, Joe Coleman, Jack Black, Shiloh Jonze, & Raul LaMotta come to the ring happy and cheering for their leaders' win. Crimson & Wayne yell at them to line up. They said they shouldn't be happy, because they are without the OVW Tag Team Championships. Crimson gets on Coleman for taking a match at SNS and losing and makes him do pushups. He also gets on Black for wearing green camo, because it means peace, when they are at war. Wayne takes the mic and tells Shaw & Silva the war isn't over. MY TAKE: What will Crimson & Wayne do next in this war with the Gutcheckers?

Rudy Switchblade is out and says "Mr. Cluck-Tacular" must have been too scared to face him at SNS, so this proves he was the best part of the Best Team Ever. Jessie Godderz comes out and says it was a no disqualification match, so he couldn't have gotten counted out. Therefore, he didn't lose. Rudy asks where he was. Working out? Eating? Or was he too busy being his girlfriend's valet and holding her...oh wait, that's right...she doesn't have her title anymore. Jessie says he's right. He's a TNA superstar unlike Rudy and had a conflict in schedule, and couldn't be here for Rudy's little no dq match. Rudy challenges him to a match right now and calls out a referee...
"Mr. Pec-Tacular" Jessie Godderz vs. Rudy Switchblade. Jessie attacks Rudy from behind and tries to pin him. Rudy kicks out and throws Jessie out of the ring. Jessie gets up and rams Rudy into the ring apron. He pulls the pad back to expose the concrete floor. Rudy is back up and tries to piledrive Jessie, but Jessie flips him over. Jessie rolls Rudy back in the ring. Rudy comes back and takes Jessie down, and goes up top for the frog splash, but Jessie rolls out of the ring. Rudy chases him around the announce table and they fight to the back. TO BE CONTINUED...

Moose & Johnny Spade are arguing in the back about their upcoming match when Jay Bradley strolls in and says something to them (I couldn't hear the video well). He walks on and Moose & Spade continue to argue.

OVW TELEVISION TITLE: "The Double R Superstar" Randy Royal (w/Tony Gunn) vs. "Mr. Multimedia" Cliff Compton (c). Royal tries a quick rollup and then a pin with a bridge. Cliff rolls out, but Randy flips him off the apron and back over the top rope into the ring. He clotheslines him and goes for a pin for 2. He hits a reverse Russian leg sweep, followed by a back elbow. Tony gets up on the apron and Randy yells at him to get down. Cliff hits Randy and locks him in the abdominal stretch and clubs at Randy's chest. Tony slides in the ring and hits Compton from behind to break the hold, causing a disqualification. WINNER and STILL OVW TV CHAMPION: COMPTON by DQ. MY TAKE: It looks like Tony is being too protective about Royal's health. Randy has shown that he's back to 100% and can handle the competition.

We see Jamin walking in saying something to Nick Dumeyer & Elvis Pridemoore. He then says something to Dylan Bostic, who says he doesn't have time, he has girl problems. Jamin then walks up to Trailer Park Trash, and they congratulate one another on their wins at SNS. You then see Jessie Godderz flying into a pile of chairs and Rudy tries to pin him for 2. Jessie runs off and Rudy chases after him. Jessie lifts up a table and throws it on Rudy and runs off.

Eddie Diamond comes out with Bobbi Bardot & Timmy Danger. He wants one more chance to impress Epiphany. Epiphany comes out and they have her sit in a chair in the middle of the ring. Eddie says he's going to serenade her with a song, and calls out Ryan Howe to accompany him. He starts singing "I Like Big Butts and I Cannot Lie". Epiphany gets upset and rejects him again, walking off. MY TAKE: Eddie must not be a ladies' man. He just doesn't know how to win over Epiphany.

In the back, Taeler Hendrix is peeking in a dressing room and is scared by Heidi Lovelace who comes up behind her and asks what she is doing. Taeler says she she is looking at Ryan Howe and how she is getting all these great gifts.

"Smooth" Johnny Spade vs. James "Moose" Thomas. Spade locks Moose up from behind and says he is too fast. Moose slings him off. Spade locks him up again, but Moose chops him. He locks an armbar on Spade, but Spade reaches for the ropes. Moose knocks Spade out of the ring. Moose holds the ropes open and as Spade gets back in, he hits him with a forearm. Moose hits back, throws Spade into one corner, and then another. He splashes him in the corner and goes up top. He comes down for a splash, but Spade moves. He rolls Moose up for 2. Moose locks Spade in a sleeper hold, and Spade breaks out with a chin buster. Spade picks himself up in the corner. Moose charges at him, but Spade moves, and Moose hits the corner. Spade kicks him to the mat and goes up top. He connects with a senton bomb, but Moose kicks out at 2. Spade is beside himself and goes outside. He grabs the bell hammer and gets back in. Meanwhile, Jay Bradley runs out and slides in the ring. Spade turns around and gets hit with a lariat, and Moose returns to his feet and gets hit with a lariat as well. Bradley grabs a mic and simply says "Statement...made." NO CONTEST. MY TAKE: Bradley pretty much summed it up. It looks like he will be sticking around for a while.

Jamin Olivencia comes to the ring and talks about his win at SNS and his 8 year journey. He thanks the fans and says he is not going anywhere. He challenges anyone to try and take the title from him. Doug Williams comes out with Jordan Barker & Michael Hayes. Doug talks about SNS and says he hit Jordan. He asks Jordan what that means. Jordan says it should have been called a disqualification. Doug then tells Michael Hayes to tell Jamin what the Board of Directors told him. Michael tells Jamin that the Board has overturned the decision at SNS, which means the defending champion is still champion. Doug then says he doesn't want the belt back from Jordan or Jamin. He calls out senior official Chris Sharpe to hand him the title, which Sharpe reluctantly does. Jamin then yells at Hayes that this needs to be fixed, he's worked hard to get to this spot. MY TAKE: Jamin was obviously upset by this turn of events. The crowd was chanting for a rematch. Will he get one at the April SNS?

This ended the TV taping.

At intermission, Rudy & Jessie came out fighting around the ring some more, before fighting to the back, still without a winner.

Post-Show Dark Matches:

Matt & Chase King (w/"VIP" Joe Rosa & the VIP Club) vs. Tattoo Inkcredible & Luther Stephens. The debut for Stephens & Inkcredible didn't last long. After a couple back and forth exchanges, the lights went out. When they came on, the VIP Club hit the road, and the Assassin took out Stephens with a big clothesline. NO CONTEST.

Ryan Howe vs. "Dirdey" Jake Dirden. Howe side headlocks Dirden, but Dirden comes back with a hip toss and a slam. He throws him off the ropes, but Howe comes back with a sliding punch. Howe with some punches and an inverted atomic drop. He hits a spinning back elbow and goes up top and hits the Chart Topper for the 3. WINNER: HOWE by pinfall. MY TAKE: Howe has gotten himself back on a nice winning streak.

Before the final match, Gilbert Corsey mentions the passing of William "Paul Bearer" Moody. He does the 10-bell moment of silence. He then switches gears and mentions that Danny Davis will make his TNA debut as the newest Gutcheck judge on tomorrow's edition of IMPACT.

The Mobile Homers: "Manbeast" Ted McNaler & Adam Revolver (w/Brittany Devore) vs. The Gutcheckers: Alex Silva & Sam Shaw. Adam takes Silva down, and him & Ted work over Silva's knee. They hit a slam/neckbreaker combo, and Silva tags in Shaw. He locks Ted in a headlock and slams him to the mat. Silva comes back in and drops a knee. He locks an armbar on Ted and Shaw tags back in and kicks Ted's arm. Silva tags back in and they deliver a double suplex. Ted takes a break and says Silva deserves a drink. He takes a drink of the "rocket fuel", as does Shaw, and then Ted & Adam each take one. Ted says now this is wrestling. Silva starts running back and forth off the ropes. He locks up with Adam and they reverse hip toss attempts all the way across the ring into the ropes. They both make tags and Ted declares a thumb war. Ted wins and runs out and grabs the titles, thinking they are now champions. He runs into the ring and Shaw catches him in an airplane spin. Ted thinks he's gonna get sick and Adam grabs a garbage can. Shaw & Silva turn away and Ted & Adam try to roll them up, but only get a 2 count. They hit Shaw & Silva in the corner, and go to throw them out. Silva & Shaw reverse, and Ted & Adam end up doing a do-see-do with each other. Shaw clotheslines Adam out of the ring. Silva hits the half stunner on Ted, and Shaw dropkicks Ted in the back for the 3. WINNERS: GUTCHECKERS by pinfall. MY TAKE: A fun match to end the night. The Gutcheckers show they can succeed even under the influence of "rocket fuel".

Don't forget this episode will be up online tomorrow. Also remember that every Monday night you can find the latest edition of the OVW Top 20 here on OVWmania. As always, thanks for reading!
